1 Chapter 1: Transmigration.

At the front of a classroom of roughly 20 children, a middle-aged man with a headband glumly held a book between his hands and dictated things to the class. Some were paying apt attention to him in hopes that they could get their families out of the position of being ordinary, other's were asleep as if this session had nothing to do with them and one person was simply staring out of the window with a wistful expression on his face.

Raiden Ambrose was once a man not of the Shinobi World, instead, he came from our world. Planet Earth. Looking wistfully out of the class' window he remembered the day... That night, he was getting ready to break up with his girlfriend because she was becoming more and more unrecognisable to him as a person, he went in to give her a final hug before he left but...he soon felt a sharp metallic sensation in his back before stumbling back. He looked deep into his then ex's face as she smiled yet cried...

"Why, why couldn't you have just stayed..." she whispered before walking off into the darkness. He soon collapsed and before everything went black, he remembered a quote from his favourite two-hearted, time-travelling Alien...

'Never trust a hug, after all, it's just a way to hide your face'

After a vague amount of time passed, he felt that he could open his eyes again and he did. Fortunately, he didn't see a red world and he didn't have to murder his siblings that hatched with him or use souls to make a gun. (Cough cough splutter, love that book) Instead, he took a look around and found himself in a normal-looking bed, despite it being a little old-fashioned.

After freaking out for a while, he calmed down as a sudden influx of memories hit him. His name was Raiden Ambrose and his family was quite ordinary and better yet, they weren't all that caring for him either. His mother, he couldn't remember. His father? well, he is an alcoholic. Ever since he was physically able to, he remembered he had always taken care of himself. Hence, he was currently attending the Ninja Academy.

After piecing a few things together in the past week, he was now ruminating in class before a beautiful crimson butterfly came to land outside his window...

Splat.

Raiden squished the butterfly into a mass of squishy goo,

'How ugly it is on the inside' He thinks to himself before a loud sound echoed in his ears.

[Customisation System Activated!]

Before he could think about anything, an illusory image appeared in his vision. What appeared in front of Raiden was an interface! In the middle of the interface was a small, strange black dot. It closed slightly and made a clicking sound. The sound immediately reminded Raiden of the camera on his mobile phone and the sound made when he took a picture on it.

After a while, an image started appearing on the interface. It was a 3D, rotatable picture of himself. The picture was of a 10-year-old kid who had dark brown wavy, straight hair. His eyes were of a lighter earthen brown colour. His body was nothing significant. Yes, his body was naked on the interface but that didn't bother Raiden. It was a very average but seemingly weak body. His ribs were visible and his body wasn't developed at all. His only notable feature could be his handsome-ish face as his jaw was very pronounced.

However, looking to the top of the interface, he noticed three dots that many people from our world would understand to be an 'options' button and what popped up surprised him... The options he received were many but he clicked on the beautify option first and what he received were some tools e.g. a Graffiti Pen, Erasing Pen, Coloring Pen, and some other special brushes and pens/pencils. Other than the beautify option, there were also Color, SFX, Filter, 3D, AE, Save, etc. Raiden was tense as he continued exploring these options... He searched all corners of the panel and finally understood one thing—Shit! What Customisation System is this?! This Fucking Shit is that Photoshop System from that Demon Novel?!

Calming himself down, he noticed an option that read Status and sighed before he clicked on it.

Name: Raiden Ambrose

Race: Human

Age: 10

Bloodlines: None

Rank: Mid-Grade Academy Student

Strength: 7

Agility: 8

Fortitude: 3

...

Total Current Energy: 35 Chakra

Other Energies N/A

Conclusion: Peasant.

Frowning, Raiden felt offended at how accurate the system was.

"Welp, I can't disagree with that" he sighed.

after that, his chakra visibly went up by 0.001. Raiden guessed this was probably the chakra that the red butterfly had, interesting, so he absorbs the chakra of whatever he kills. What he's understood after messing around with it for a while, he had to exchange a certain amount of energy to materialise in real life anything he drew.

'Huh, so the differences aren't small either. Roy, no, Osiris, used souls as a currency whereas mine uses energy. The only thing is, I'm guessing that includes the energy that I have currently. Hence, I should probably always leave around 5 energy so that I don't dry up into a corpse or something.' Raiden thought, 'I need to be smart about how I use energy points then because it could also leave me without the energy to cast jutsu either. I don't know if this is a blessing or not.'

In Conclusion, I no longer have a chakra capacity, but the only way I can gain chakra is by killing things and hence their chakra gets absorbed into the system. My body can only conduct a certain amount of chakra before getting tired though.

...

Soon after he reached home, after dealing with a drunk father, he walked up to his room and opened his door. It was a very plain room but he thought about what he could use roughly 30 points on.

In comparison, Genin probably had 50+ to all their Stats. Chunin, 250+. Jonin 500+. Kage, 1K+. he guessed that Hashirama probably had around 1K Stats but a greater amount of Chakra than even that. Obviously, Tailed beasts are cheats.

He decided to see how much a training multiplier potion would cost. He defined the attribute as x2.5 and it cost him 31 points.

"That's a bit above my budget," He thought to himself before sighing, "let's go for something more accurate"

After thinking for a while longer, he made some space on his crude desk made of rickety wood.

After drawing a large bowl of porridge with blueberries and raspberries in it on his interface, a text-box like the one in a word document popped up and asked him to define the drawn item's attributes. He nodded his head and thought for a second.

[A nutritious meal that leaves you feeling full for the next 2 days and gives a caloric surplus for said 2 days. Slow Energy Release. Once consumed, gives a 1.5x boost to any physical training completed for 48hrs]

He had to specify exactly what he wanted as he, originally, just left it as a 1.5x boost to Any Training. This boosted the cost up to 400 chakra. However, since he refined the meaning and gave the image a more exact description, any PHYSICAL training, the cost reduced heavily down to 30 chakra points. Raiden Smiled,

"I guess that's going to be tomorrow morning's breakfast" However, soon after, a large, fat yet bulky man stormed into his room.

'Shit' cursed Raiden internally, after all, he knew what this man had done to the previous poor soul that inhabited this body. He once even chained him to a radiator/heater when it was on and burnt some of his skin so much so that his back looked like he was Dabi. That was all because he was tired after a school day and didn't want to cook for him.

"Oy you little sh*t, next Friday, I've got a guest over so go somewhere else on that day," he said with a drunken expression on his face. Raiden simply nodded in response to him with a fake scared look on my face. He couldn't do much in his current predicament, after all, even though this father of his is weak and constantly drunk, this guy was still a retired Chunin so who knows what sh*t he's got up his sleeve.

"Yes Sir."

...

The next morning I'd woken up early and heard the loud snoring of a drunkard downstairs and sighed in relief. After freshening myself up, I sat at my desk and materialised my breakfast that would not need me to eat anything for the next three days. Suddenly, I felt very weak - almost as if my body had aged 100 years and my muscles, as well as bones, seemed very fragile. Though there was no significant pain, I guess it's a good thing I decided to limit my minimum remaining chakra to 5.

Scooping up the first thing I've eaten that resembles a normal meal, I smelled the fragrant scent of the berries. The freshness that exuded from the bowl made me salivate and before anything else, I ate it and the taste was refreshing. Without further ado, I wolfed down breakfast and it made me feel physically energised again, no longer did I feel like a decrepit old man.

Soon after, I had left the house and reached my classroom. Sighing, I didn't know if my current timeline was a blessing or not. From what I gathered in class, the second shinobi war had finished sometime last year and I was currently 10 years old. In my past life, I was a massive Naruto nerd and I'd even written a few fanfictions myself. The one thing I'd always look at would be the history and Seelentau had, arguably, one of the best historical timelines and it seemed- up till now- quite accurate. It's currently the 21st of January 6BNB(Before Naruto's Birth) which means I'm roughly 6 years away from naruto's birth and the 9-tails incident, and about 2 years away from the 3rd Shinobi War.

However, something important happens this year. Sakumo Hatake will take his life in a few months...and I planned to stop that goddamn event from happening.

Sighing, I think a bit more about why I'm here. After all, even though I've completely had my world view changed, it seems I'm still calm. I guess that's what betrayal does to you. Numbs your subjective view and shuts down that part of your brain and your objective view takes hold. Sighing, I nodded internally, This isn't a fake world. Nor is it fictional. This is most definitely real and this system is a mystery. Oh well, I'll deal with that problem when it arises, currently though - It's my best help in this world. I need to be focused and look at things objectively. On the other hand, sigh, I can't simply say that just because of one bad person I've been with, that every other person is evil down to their core.

Slapping myself out of it, The teacher at the front reiterates to the class,

"Remember everyone, your exams are in July and November depending on when you'll take it. But if you fail then a simple civilian life awaits you. Try your best." He then walked out, It was now break and I didn't plan on coming back to the lessons. Since I'm a relatively average but qualified student, I left a clone in class. It seems that this teacher wasn't very optimistic about this class and he wouldn't care even if I did leave a clone here.

Starting with some stretches I decided on what I was going to do.

"Alright let's go, 100 pushups, 100 situps, 100 weighted squats and a 10km run!" I shouted before I started running.

...

After a while, Raiden noticed that a green-clothed kid was approaching him and before long he caught up to him,

"Hello there! My name is Might Guy! I'm currently training to be a genin, can I join you on your run?!"

Sigh, this was going to be a long day...

"Sure kid, I still have another 5 miles to run so keep up, by the way, my name is Raiden" I smirk before running way past him. This is going to be an interesting couple of months up to my graduation...
