While it may seem like I've moved, in reality, I haven't moved at all. Right now, I have 360-degree vision, and I only have to focus on which direction I want to see.

There's a reason for this, as it's one of the nonverbal rules of this place. Everyone must start simultaneously, kinda like a "ready, set, go!" sort of thing.

Therefore, I haven't moved a muscle even though I've been using my vision to look around at everything all this time.

With that thought, the pitch-black prisons of the other spawn started to blur and distort.

Noticing this, Eren thought, 'It must finally be time to start.' The prisons further distort and peel downward like rain on a dome. Yet it only revealed different colored blobs.

They all stood unmoving like statues. Eren knew that none of them had taken a form yet, as even he was a blob. His colors are a mix of scarlet and black, a bit rarer than the other colors he'd seen.

"Haaaahhhh~" a breath was heard with it being not too loud or too quiet. Feeling as though someone had breathed into his ear, Eren knew that wasn't the case as it was heard by every creature here simultaneously.

Immediately, every spawn there started taking form, including Eren, as this was what could be said for the "ready" part of this.

Usually, when taking form, the new spawns take inspiration from their parent's form from the memories they got from their inheritance. Yet some don't have an inheritance, and these are called "The ideas."

The ideas are spawned from thoughts, nightmares, ideas, and nothing. They are born from multiple creatures or people having the same idea, nightmare, or being stuck in their heads. Because of being spawned from a thought or feeling, they get nothing in the case of inheritance, so their forms will be based on instinct instead of taking after their parent.

Eren had decided to take after the being in his inheritance. Two black antlers on the sides of his head, being humanoid with the height of six foot and three inches, ten eyes on his abdomen, and a lipless mouth with sharp teeth. The only thing Eren added was multiple thin tendrils coming out of his back as he felt this would be needed.

The ones with inheritance were inherently more dangerous than those without, as they would take forms that could be very well attuned for fighting versus the instinct-driven forms of those without.

Surveying the surrounding spawn, Eren saw that most of the inherit-less were going with monstrous transformations which turned their arms into long scythe-like appendages, having jagged mouths with some having no lips, and weird ones having many legs or sometimes none, making it have to walk with its front arms.

Out of all the spawns close by, there were only three with inheritance, one of those being me, the second being one looking like a female, and the last being another male. We all had humanoid appearances.

The male one had crooked teeth with sixteen arms, all placed in different spots along its body; along its legs were holes with chains in them, and on its chest was a chain stuck in its chest.

Without a doubt, the creature standing at ten feet tall was dangerous, but the female one I felt was more dangerous than anything.

Eldritch creatures are usually hideous, with most of them taking on grotesque appearances, but this one was gorgeous. Not the 10/10 human woman type, but the drop-dead gorgeous that you can only see in fiction to the point where it's so bad you can't even fully grasp it.

She was five foot and six inches, with long black hair and a face so gorgeous it could almost be said to be disgusting; she wasn't lacking in any of the asset departments, with long white legs. She had materialized clothes over her body that barely covered anything and barely held together through how well "rounded" she was.

Eren knew through the laws of nature that the more beautiful something is, the more dangerous it is. Under all circumstances, a fight with her should come last, as it would take more time to put her down than anyone else.

"Haaaahhhh~" Hearing this, Eren turned his head, building a sinister smile. It was the "get set" mark, and he knew he was allowed to move his body at that point but not allowed to walk.

Looking at the non-inheritance holders as intimidation was vital to breaking an opponent before the fight started. His eyes each looked at a different opponent with the look of him just waiting to rip them apart, and they knew exactly what he wanted.

Feeling the two inheritance holders looking at him, Eren drops his smile and looks at both of them coldly simultaneously. It was a message to them that read, "Get in my way, and I'll end you."

Seeing that he would be a challenging opponent if pushed, both the inheritance holders looked away. They decided to focus on other opponents as they were the strongest in the immediate vicinity.

After all, this isn't a fun outing. This, in actuality, was a battle royale! Where the winner takes all, no gulag exists for anyone trying to make a comeback!

Every spawn in The In-Between tensed as they knew what would be coming soon. Then it was heard…

"Haaahhh~" This was it! This was the "go," and wasting no time, Eren immediately took in that last drop of inheritance that he was holding back.

When taking it in, he was granted two things! The first was his true name, Urdal Amhuthatl Shub-Cxarru Taallist Cnyggdotl… Azaogdesz. The other thing he got surprised him as he didn't think he would be given it from his dream.

"Custom Made Eldritch Creature System Has Activated!"

The minute he heard this in his head, a crimson-red transparent panel was in front of him. Eren thought it wouldn't be granted to him, yet looking at the information on the screen, he knew he had hit the jackpot!

Explanation: The eldritch are a race of chaos and destruction, and it is very easy for them to destroy their surroundings just by their presence. Eldritch Blood gives you a better affinity with disorder, death, and destruction.

Explanation: The eldritch are bringers of chaos, disorder, and depravity. The eldritch are attracted to chaos so much to the point that they actively seek it.

Eren knew that the system had an imaginative and drawing version, though he couldn't thoroughly look at it because the battle had already started!

Eren had been dropped into the middle of the battle royale with enemies on all sides! The smile on his face only gets more prominent as he looks at the first enemy and charges.
