Due to somehow getting into the Demon King versus Hero game entirely with an Altar, I can now see levels, and with [Observe] upgraded, I can see more of their stats. 'Stats'.

Each level-one talent takes ten talent points; the only way to get those points is from Heros. The [Eldritch Laborer]s have been doing their job, and because of that, I was able to make 2,460 gold from selling, killing, and chilling, as this has been a mostly quiet day for me. I used 500 gold to get another ten soldiers and 900 gold to get three hundred Laborers, and in total, I have:

While most Demon Kings are wondering how to feed their units, my units eat only life force, which they can even absorb from trees, and they also don't need much of it to survive, only needing it when repairing damage. With my 1,060 gold left, I decided to save it as I needed to take over a portion of the Trading Hub with the numerous resources at my disposal.

'Due to my summons not having anything to do with farming, I think the only way to earn money is by killing everything in my path, which might be what I go for.' I take flight in my red dragon form and rush in a single direction. I've done a lot of scouting, and in the direction I am heading, it should be a Goblin village with around 2,500 members. The Goblin camp probably has a couple of Heros, so it's not like I'll lose out on anything.

(Goblins Heros POV:)

Life in the village has been going smoothly as I and many other Goblin Heros have been slowly taking over the camp, and we are succeeding. With the camp under us, we can start fighting the Demon Kings and eventually become high-tier Heros.

"LOOK IN THE SKY!!!" With a shout, many Goblins turn and look into the sky, only to see a massive red dragon heading toward their village. "It's a red dragon!" "We have to get out of here!" but with their screams filling the village, it was already too late. The dragon had already opened his mouth, flames deep in his throat, and the dragon fired on the village.

Trees were set ablaze, wooden structures almost entirely ashen, and the screams of the Goblin tribe rang out. None of them knew why, when, or how the dragon had found them or what it wanted, yet they burned all the same. The old, the young, the innocent, and the guilty are all set aflame with no hope in the world.

Like a force of nature, the dragon's breath ravaged the bodies of the Goblins, and not even their souls remained. The destruction was on a scale none of them had seen before, and with that thought, many of them had seen one last image of the dragon breathing down flame before the flame engulfed them.

(MC POV:)

I already see hundreds of logs of the Goblins I've slaughtered, but I am out of [MP], and because of that, there is only one thing to do. I land on the ground and use [Endless Devouring] on the bodies in my path, quickly filling my small [MP] bar as I prepare for another breath. "The dragon has landed! We can attack it; hurry!" sadly for that Goblin, it was already too late as I had finished charging.

Using the dead bodies as a battery pack, I kept emptying my [MP] bar until there was nothing but flames in the village. No screams, no cries, just the crackle of my flame on the trees' bark and surrounding area, and with this, my job was done, as I had gained over 10,000 gold in this one visit. I flew back to where my Altar was.

(POV:???)

I woke up with my head hurting, flames surrounding me, and burnt dead bodies in the wake of what had happened. A dragon had appeared; a giant red dragon had come down like an act of god and ended the entire village. We almost had the village under our control; everything was going perfectly, only for that dragon to show up and ruin it. We were supposed to be Heros, the people of legends, but that dragon came and shattered everything we had built in only a few minutes.

"I swear I will get revenge for every one of us!" slinking away from the fire, the figure slowly but surely walks away and out of the burning forest and village area.

(MC POV:)

Back at the Altar, I look at the profit I have gotten.

Even though I don't get souls from the things my summons kill, I was still happy about what I had gotten. I used three hundred souls for four different gummy bears, each different in color. The red one gave me +100 [STR], The blue one gave me +100 [WIL], The green one gave me +50 [CON], and the lighter blue one gave me +50 [AGI]. Instantly, I felt my body get lighter, my muscles tighten and expand, and I could feel my aura grow so much that I could see it wafting off me like steam in front of a fan at max speed. I then used another 1,742 souls to make another ability.

This less powerful version of Juggernaut Drive was made with the small amount of souls I had on me, so the power wasn't entirely there, but it was more than enough for now.

[Juggernaut Drive: Gives percentage boosts depending on how much of the chant you get done. 25%, 65%, 95%, 125%, and 150% boosts (Activates the [Red Dragon Form] transformation and pushes it to grow more prominent than the original size.)]

Using the Hero Stones, I gained 52 Talent Points for my stats. Each talent was 10 points and would multiply by 10 in cost each level up.
