{System Speech}

-------------------

I awoke in a dark cave devoid of light, yet I could see perfectly fine as if someone had turned the lights on. When I looked at the System, I could see many different options.

[True Name: Urdalth Aualosha Ctlos Shormaush Khahrahk]

[Interface]

[Souls: 0]

[Followers:0]

[Drawing/Imaginative Ability Creation]

[3D Self-Render]

[Stats]

Without hesitation, I thought of choosing stats, and boy, I don't know if I should be dissatisfied or happy as I have nothing to compare to, but it's something.

[Race: Eldritch (██████)

[Health: 350]

[MP: 200]

[STR: 35]

[AGI: 25]

[CON: 35]

[WIL:20]

[Abilites: Endless Devouring, Shape Mold, Maddening Aura, Assimilative Regeneration.]

'System, give me the description of these abilities.'

{Description}

{[Endless Devouring] Allows you to steal STR, WIL, CON, and AGI stats off of enemies if they are strong enough. These permanent stat gains are added by a number beside the stat. Example: [STR: 35+5] (Note: A body must be left for this to occur, which can also be used while the target is alive.)

[Shape Mold:] This is the ability to shape your form as you fit; you can be a shapeless blob or have a humanoid appearance. (Note: [Shape Mould] has a maximum size compared to the users' stats.)

[Maddening Aura] An ability most Eldritch Creatures have depending on where they hale from; this ability makes those around you slowly go mad and, depending on strength, can affect people from across the world to worship you even if you've never met them and depends on the users' strength. (Note: Not blameable if people from other worlds decide to worship you.)

[Assimilative Regeneration] This ability allows you to absorb the blood, organic materials, and soul of the person or creature you are fighting to speed up regeneration. (Note: The regeneration speed is based on your enemy's strength and how many you absorb.)

Wow, that was a lot of information as being told through instinct, which abilities do what versus being able to add the instincts to actual knowledge is a world of difference. Next, I go into [3D Self--Render]. Right now, my looks resemble a blackish-reddish blob with no features whatsoever.

Though I look like Carnage and Venom mixed, this needs fixing. I slowly mold the look of this blob to the way I want a humanoid structure: Six foot and three inches tall, six red eyes on the chest area in a symmetrical formation, a mouth with no lips but many larger than average humanoid-sized teeth, whole body pitch black with two antlers at the top and a multitude of different red carvings on the body and I made it so that the place where the eyes are supposed to be on my head show words like "Don't look" and "Turn away" as an extra effect.

Even though I have no eyes on my head, it doesn't matter as I have 360-degree vision, and my whole body can act as eyes and detect even the slightest hint of an enemy. I do not need to even try and inspect in detail the surroundings of this cave that I am in because it's just an average cave with no alter, no cultists, and no summoning ritual, damn I guess that's what happens when you spawn in the world with no followers.

Leaving the cave was no issue, and as I walked out, I smelled the air and listened as hard as I could; one second passed, then two, then 5, and I realized that this might not be a modern world due to not hearing the sound of cars, planes, and not smelling any high amounts of the gases the modern world has with my enhanced sense of smell.

The outside was a weird experience as I had stepped foot into a border between half-dead trees and a mix of reddish-blackish ground versus the exact opposite: healthy trees and lush green grass. Obviously, I ran at half of my top speed, which was way faster than an adult human, towards the half-dead area, as with lush green grass and a healthy-looking ecosystem comes civilization. Within three minutes, I found something; it looked like an ostrich had merged with a terror bird from Ark Survival. Overall, it is not as threatening as the terror bird but also very weak-looking.

The weird creature had already noticed me and started to try and defend its territory, but that was a foolish decision from it as I transformed my right arm into a long-looking claw-blade mixture and then dashed toward the creature. It was charging me, but with my perception of things, it was moving so slow that when I got to it, the bird mixture tried to smash its beak into my head only to have me sidestep it. With that simple move, the fight was over as I raised my blade arm over its head and slashed downwards.

[+1 souls]

I heard a ding from the System telling me I had gotten a soul and instantly knew what it was for, not even needing to read the words on the translucent screen. Not wasting any time, I tried to use [Endless Devouring] on the body only to hear:

[Enemy not strong enough to give permanent stat boost]

[Temperary bonus over stats given]

[MP+3]

With this scene, I looked at my stats

[Race: Eldritch (██████)

[Health: 350]

[MP: 203/200]

[STR: 35]

[AGI: 25]

[CON: 35]

[WIL:20]

[Abilites: Endless Devouring, Shape Mould, Maddening Aura, Assimilative Regeneration.]

And it seems I can keep it as long as I don't use the over-charged MP.

'System, while running to the next creature I can find, tell me the details of each of the stats.'

{[STR]: An indicator of how hard you can hit, how much you can lift, and how much force you can throw out in a single slash or punch.

[AGI]: This involves your speed, flexibility, and perception, as the faster you are, the quicker you can react.

[CON]: The amount of Health you have, your body's ability to fight off diseases, and your overall ability to heal passively.

[WIL]: Your willpower in the case of your enemy trying to take over your mind or even your want to push forward, as your mind is the very essence that your magic draws from.

Every point into [CON] and [WIL] is ten points of Health and MP, respectively.

As I got the last of this information, I found two more of the same creatures I had seen last time, and it seemed that they were lying down on a nest and had turned around when they heard me, but with me fast approaching, I was already four meters away before they were even standing. I instantly sped up to my top speed and turned both arms into blades, cutting off both of their heads with barely any effort, and again, I heard the System make a sound.

[+2 Souls]

With this, I used [Endless Devouring] on both corpses, and the result was the same as last.

[Enemy not strong enough to give permanent stat boost]

[Temperary bonus over stats given]

[MP+3]

[MP+4]

[MP: 210/200]

The amount of MP I can over-cap is proportional to my strength, so the stronger I get, the more I can obtain. And with this thought, I open the System and go into the ability creation tab. I use a soul to create a new ability that I desperately need [Observe], which allows me to see the information of the things I am looking at. I then use other souls to give it the "Sees Hidden Information" and then use [Observe] On a tree.

[Tree]

[First Grew here 34 years ago]

[Is currently in a half-dead state and is about to die.]

With this, I am satisfied as I start running to find my next target excitedly, as this day will be perfect.

(An Hour Later.)

I managed to find fifteen more of those birds they were called [Bigfoot Bird]s and then stopped my hunt on them for one reason: I seemed to have found Goblins, but these Goblins seemed to be much more organized than they should be, and the reason is simple: they seem to have a bigger Goblin they are following. When I first found them, I used [Observe] and stayed hidden behind the group of trees and, due to my [Shape Mold], was entirely able to be hidden behind the tree.

[Race: Goblin Chief (Demon King Race)]

[Name: Thomas]

[Stats]

[Health: 30]

[STR:4]

[AGI:7]

[CON:6]

[WIL:4]

[Currently a participant in the Demon King versus Heros game]

[Is actively shitting himself due to being birthed in as a weak goblin]

And man, did this person have some exciting things to say. Listen to him as he's still complaining, and it's been an hour. "What am I going to do? I'm stuck here as a weak Goblin Chief while others got so much better, and there's even a Wraith Demon King!" "How am I going to survive the Heros when they come? Just look at me. I am in the same tier as the Slime Demon King." This guy has been going on this rant for an hour, but I have learned something interesting from him.

One million Demon Kings and one million Heros are fighting in this colossal war, and the Demon Kings can see a chat group with the million other players. The information I've gathered so far, I know precisely where I am... I'm in "Global Demon King: Starting As The Abssyal Dragon."
