Currently, Karasu and I are bullying an average-tier eldritch creature. This was the boss of the place, but he was getting tossed around like he was a kickball.
Karasu hit him with a kick to the back, only for me to come in next with a punch to the face. The beatdown continues as Karasu comes around again with a punch in the side while the creature tries to defend. Holding his hands to try and block it allowed me to come in with both hands in a lock into a downward slam on his head.
With both hands now resting in the air above his head, Karasu came in with a knee to the stomach, sending him further folding, while I came in next with a knee to the nose. I heard a *CRACK* as my knee made contact, but as the creature was pulling back, Karasu came in with another punch to the side of his face, leaving the enemy reeling back.
I came in with a kick to the side, and then simultaneously, Karasu landed a punch on his cheek, pretty much sandwiching his face between our fists. The creature couldn't take it anymore and fell to the ground, only for Karasu to finish the job by taking out the Inverted Spear of Heaven and cutting him into cubes.
He was the last one alive and seemed to specialize in defense, but for some reason, the device kept sending me to dimensions where the creature had a lot of subordinates. It could be trying to even our stats, as all my statistics are 1,000, while the boss of this place could have maybe only magic at 1,000 or higher.
The physical stats were harder to get up compared to the magical one. I had earned 1,334 lesser souls from this raid, and the number of creatures needed to equal my stats was always over a thousand.
The amount of lesser eldritch souls I had was 8,672, as I had raided multiple dimensions by this point, and it was always the same thing with the boss being weak but having thousands of subordinates. I put Karasu in my inventory as I walked through the portal and appeared back in my dimension.
I call it a raid because upon killing the enemy, you can take anything they have of value, but these lower-end enemies didn't have anything. I took Karasu out of my inventory, and he returned to the gaming room while I made a new creation.
I took an eldritch and human soul and wiped their ego, then merged them together. I fed the soul more human souls while trying to add a specific ego to it using the system. I gave it artificial memories as this would help it become a better combatant.
The body was hunched and short while having beady red eyes, and the entire body was covered in hair with large rat-like teeth. The only way I could describe him is "Giant humanoid rat," as he had a long rat tail behind him.
He had green pants with bandages wrapped around his waist and a cloak made out of a mix of human hair and silk. I made three weapons for him and put the soul into his body.
When he woke up, he immediately entered the kneeling position and bowed before me. There was one thing left to do to finish this creation.
"I name you Snikch; you shall be the leader of the assassin's division, and so I shall give you the title of DeathMaster," I spoke to Snikch as he would be a great assassin to add to my ranks. I did not leave him without the title he deserved.
"Yes-Yes, I thank you, great one, for this opportunity!" Snikch spoke in a deep voice with a Skaven-like speech impediment, but I didn't mind it. I put a lot of souls into this creation of mine, so the stats should reflect that.

This creation of mine was absolutely broken! I poured in 8,236 lesser eldritch souls for this, as the abilities, talent, and weapons I gave him were disgustingly broken. All three weapons are designed with poison so deadly that even a scratch is enough to kill any creature instantly. The weapons were intended to be held by Snikitch as he was the sole owner of his combat style.
The skills I gave him make him almost impossible to defeat in one-on-one scenarios, as the bonuses he gets are way too high. The talent was just like Karasu's but even more busted in terms of boosting base stats, and even if someone had an "Observe" skill, it still wouldn't be able to pick up his actual statistics.
Because of my evolution to get more stat points, it would take double what it previously took, so now I needed 200 human souls or two lesser eldritch souls.
Title Gained!
The system suddenly rang in my ear, and upon looking at the notification, it seemed I had gained another title.
Nyarlathotep's Favored: ???
The title left me wide-eyed, as I didn't think it was THAT bad. I may need to visit more often for my safety, though I did want to test something. I put Sniktch in the system while I had Karasu stay out.
Going toward the raiding device again, I located a target, and with a bit more force needed than average, I made a hole between our dimensions. Karasu and I walked into the portal with a bored look.
Opening my eyes, I was shown a beautiful scene, and I didn't believe an average eldritch creature would make something beautiful. I was on a beach with the sun high in the sky and calm sea water in front of me.
Karasu seemed surprised by the environment as well because we mostly fought in dark, demented, or dirty places when we went on a raid of another dimension. Everything seemed calm, quiet, and peaceful, but I narrowed my eyes as it was peaceful… Too peaceful.
Where were the summons? Where were the enemies? I looked ahead and pointed forward while opening my mouth. "If we kill all of our enemies, will we finally be free?" I turned to Karasu while I was still pointing at the sea.
"That was a sh*tty reference, and you know it." He responded with a stupified look on his face, as I had started laughing.
"The enemies are in the sea, so was it not the right thing to say?" I continued looking out into the ocean as I spoke while Karasu just shook his head. The creatures in the sea were known to be numerous in numbers yet weak in my eyes.
Suddenly, the calm waves in the ocean stopped as creatures ('Again with the tentacles') stood up from the water. I mean, they stood as if the water was a solid surface. Their numbers were maybe over 10,000 as more and more kept popping up, and the reason for this may be because of Karasu's actual stats.
Karasu's talent buffs his stats in exchange for not having any Magic Energy, and because of this, the device might have read his full stats instead of the stats I see. It would make sense as it doesn't consider skills and only base stats, but his ability upgrades his base stats.
Finally done with all of the enemies showing up, numbering just over 15,000, I took Snikch out of my inventory and waited for the creator of this dimension to show up.
I didn't wait long as right after all the subordinates showed themselves, the leader then brought himself out of the water. He was an octopus but with a humanoid body. He didn't have wings, but he did look a bit like Cthulhu.
The skin color was all wrong, though, as he was a dark red in color instead of the standard greenish color Cthulhu has. The battle would begin any second now as I could feel the tension in the air.
This was going to be a lovely battle!
