30 Diversity.

Dean assumed that the cards everyone held in possession would be greatly different from the ones he acquired from the Book of Immortality.

Subsequently, he even thought that everything about his cards was unique to him.

However, as Dean looked at the hovering four cards in front of him, he saw no difference whatsoever.

The cards were literally identical in outer appearance to the ones he received as a gift from the book of immortality which he now calls ' Life' instead of ' Boim'.

Dean reached out his hand and collected all four cards before he quickly started inspecting them.

' Now I understand,' Dean thought as he finally knew where the difference lay.

The cards Life gave him were accompanied by an explanation and even a quote in one case.

Yet, the card he was currently holding in his hand didn't have much information written on top of it.

The only thing Dean could notice on the card were a few words noted in the middle.

" Void Storage."

Dean uttered aloud as he tried to recollect the information he had in the novels he read before.

' I mean, this doesn't take a genius to understand, it's for sure a storage that allows me to store my belongings inside.' Dean quickly recognized it without the need to scroll through the information he read.

Nevertheless, even though the first card was easy to understand thanks to his knowledge, the next one left Dean speechless.

" Lag."

' What the hell is lag?' Dean gazed absent-mindedly at the second card in his hand, confusion written all over his face.

Even when Dean recalled the term 'lag' used in his past world, he still couldn't make sense of the meaning of said word in this world.

Helplessly, and without a choice, Dean shifted his gaze to the snake yawning next to him.

" Aren't you a dumb one? I'm curious how you even succeeded in building your useless empire back in your world." The snake ridiculed as he sent a look of disgust towards Dean.

Dean on the other hand didn't care and spoke with impatience," Just elaborate."

He knows that entering an argument with this snake will only lead to his doom.

He had time to waste.

The snake however had nothing to waste.

As a matter of fact, Dean could easily deduce that this snake wanted him to argue with him just to waste his time and presumably get him into unnecessary trouble that he might not even expect coming.

" Hpmh! Getting smarter aren't you, well you will fall in that trap at some point so no worries," He said as he then began his brief explanation," Since I have a brain unlike you let me explain real quick. The card called Lag is used to delay someone's actions."

'That's it?' Dean thought.

' No, he probably said what's enough and didn't wanna tell more to not give me any more information,' Dean deduced,' Like this, he won't get in trouble for not answering me, and will also be making it hard for me to use said cards with this limited information.'

'It's good that lag is something I can easily understand, but future ones will be troublesome if I ever come across hard-understanding ones and I stumble upon this snake, not the old man.' He sighed in annoyance, but quickly pushed those thoughts out of his mind as he gazed at the following couple of cards.

Thankfully for him, storing the cards is something he already knew so he didn't need the snake to explain as well.

All Dean needed to do was think about placing them inside of him and upon that thought, the cards would instantly vanish and appear inside of his sea of consciousness.

Having his hands freed from four cards at once, Dean was left with only two.

Each was placed in a hand.

The second card left Dean kind of joyful as it actually appeared to be quite overpowered.

But he didn't care much at this moment since he needed to sign in as a diver so he quickly took a look at the next card.

" Water." Dean blinked a couple of times, trying to confirm what he had seen was indeed the right word.

He even looked at the snake next to him only to see him nodding impatiently, confirming the word he was reading was right.

' Guess things like this can also be cards, but is it only one bottle or an unlimited amount of water?' Dean thought as he gazed at the snake,' Will he even answer me though? Well let's try.'

" Does water mean only a bottle or more than that?" He said as he looked at the card in his right hand.

" Infinite amount of water." The snake answered half-heartedly.

' Seems like he is forced to answer these questions.' Dean smirked as he found out that his life would be quite easier with the rules on these assistants.

Dean then shifted his eyes to the card in his left hand after he stored the other one inside his sea of consciousness.

" A plate of unknown human food."

"Isn't this more detailed than the other three cards?" He uttered as he looked at the snake asking for an answer.

The snake wasn't dumb and understood his meaning, but even though he was unwilling to help to such a degree for reasons Dean had no knowledge about.

The snake still explained, forced without a choice.

" The word food alone will mean an infinite amount of it, but since this card didn't hold that, it had to go more into detail and inform the diver that it only held one plate of said food."

The snake then looked right at the gate and then spoke," I have answered enough questions, and it's also impossible for me to interact with you inside the chaos world, so I'll take my leave."

" Eh, wh..." Before Dean could even exclaim, the snake already vanished into thin air.

" Argh whatever, I should have expected such an action from him. I'll ask the old man the next week." Dean said as he stored the fourth card and fixed his eyes on the gate.

Without any waste of time, Dean started walking towards it.

His head even though calm and composed, his face looked the opposite as it appeared like he was just heartbroken or devastated inside.

His brown eyes are empty like a man who just witnessed his whole family dying in front of him. His face was quite ashen and disturbed, even a touch of darkness was visible in it.

Alas, none of this was known to Dean as he was just calmy advancing towards the gate, ready to take his first step inside the real world.
