1 Chapter 01.

Just like everyday, I was listening to music in my room when I heard a voice coming from the living room.

“Min, come here please.” My mom said, and I immediately went there.

“Do you need something?” I inquired when arrived.

She tapped the seat beside her a couple of times, indicating me to take a seat there, and so I did. 

“Well, you know school will be starting in less than a week, right?” I nodded, not knowing what my mom was trying to say. “You are going to go to the same school as your brother” She quickly said, maybe fearful of my reaction.

I was baffled.

Me and my brother were pretty close back then. We had the perfect sibling-relationship someone could ask for, but one day all changed. The day our dad decided to take away my happiness, called Minjun. That happened when we both were eight, and we turned fifteen the day before the summer break. Seven years without my twin brother. Seven years without the person I loved the most. But that no longer mattered, as I could be able to see him again.

“Are you okay?” I simply nodded, unable to say a word due to the shock. “Your flight leaves in two days, so if I were you I would start packing all of my things” I gave her a smile. I stood up from the couch and went to my room.

I was so happy I couldn’t even form words. I was going to see my brother after a long time, but, will he still love me as much as I do?

When I realized two days passed and it was the day I was moving. Mom was already waiting for me downstairs, trying to hold back her tears.

“You got everything, right?” I hummed after checking one last time and we both left the house.

Half an hour later we were at the airport, and when my mom couldn’t hold her tears back anymore, I hugged her.

“Mom, I will be fine, I really will. I am going to miss you too, but sooner or later you would have to let me go” Said that, she hugged me tightly.

An hour later my flight was going to leave. After wiping some tears from my mom’s face I hugged the woman of my life one last time and left.

Once I got to the plane, I got comfortable ready to sleep for the whole trip, and not knowing how, I fell asleep at that moment. What seemed like minutes turned out to be hours, and when the plane landed, the flight-attendant slightly shook my shoulders, waking me up. I opened my eyes and saw everyone taking their suitcases, so i rapidly stood up and did the same but with my handbag. After getting off the plane I received a call from my brother, and, of course, I replied.

“Hey Minjun!” I happily said.

“Hey girl! I’m already waiting for you outside, I can’t wait to see my little sister” 

“Yah, I am two minutes younger than you, so shut up. I’ll be there in five” I answered and then hung up.

Five minutes later as I said, I was outside. When I saw my brother I jumped into his arms and he hugged me pretty tight I thought I was going to die. We spent five more minutes hugging, none of us letting the other break the hug.

“You still look the same” He ruffled my hair, making me blush.

He was still the same.

“Yeah, you too, I thought Korea was going to make you look better but it actually didn’t” I laughed at my own joke.

“How was the flight?” Jun asked when he closed the car’s trunk and got in.

“Pretty good, I spent the whole trip sleeping” We put our seat belts on and the car started.

On our way to the highschool we couldn’t stop laughing. Even though we spent more than five years without seeing the other, our relationship was still the same.

The car then stopped and I looked at the big building in front of us. It was a big building with walls covered with vines. It looked just like old horror movies buildings and, not gonna lie, I loved that.

“Is this the school?” I finally asked, and he nodded. “This is amazing”

Then he opened one of the two metal doors that separated us from the school, letting loud squeaks out. After two minutes walking we arrived at what I thought was the school’s main entrance. And I wasn’t wrong. When the doors opened we were able to see the up-to-date entrance: white marble floor, matte black lockers and golden stair. It was the definition of heaven.

“The school tour will be on Monday, aka the day we start school, so I will just show you the dorms” My brother informed me and I followed him to another building. “The building is five minutes away from school, so time and distance won’t be a problem”

When we arrived there I saw four big buildings. I was amazed I didn’t realize my mouth was open. Sean took me to the third building and after going up five floors he spoke.

“Here it is” He pointed at a door “Before getting in you should know you will be sharing the room with another person. Is that okay for you?”

“Yeah, sure. As long as she isn’t a bitch I won’t freak out” Said that, I knocked on the door.

“Leave!” We heard a girl yelling from the inside of the room. I didn't really care so I knocked one more time.

I was more than ready to break the door if she didn't.

"Holy shit! Are you deaf? I told you to leave, I'm busy!"

"Hy-" My brother started talking but I quickly cut him off.

I took a deep breath before I started talking. "I am your new roommate, could you please," I emphasized the last word "open the door?" I tried to sound as less rude as possible, but that girl wasn't making it easy.

"What if I don't want to?" I could hear the playful tone.

"I will break the freaking door, I'm pretty sure you don't want to have a room without a door, am I wrong?" I heard a huff and then steps.

“Who the fuck is she?” The girl asked my brother, pointing at me with a disgusted glare.

“She is Shin Hyemin, my sister” He answered.

“And what is she doing here?”

“As she said, she is your roommate”

I started feeling uncomfortable because two pairs of eyes were staring deep into my soul and I didn’t like being watched.

“Min, she is Park Hyekyo, your roommate, as you already know.” He smiled trying to comfort me but failed spectacularly. Both of us rolled our eyes and then I sighed.

“Oh” Minjun said, calling my attention “And this is Yagami Ayato, my best friend”
