4 Chapter 4- You see it but I don't

While returning to his room, Yuki seems disturbed that someone who killed his boss later took over literally a whole organization, making it even better. He further thinks about the recent deaths and threats caused to the people all of a sudden by The Dark Mafia, his head is full of thoughts when he suddenly spots "Harumi Nomura" Yuki walking towards her and greeting her, Harumi also nodded at him before Yuki interrupts her by asking about some information "Harumi, could you tell me when the information about this new Mafia's leader was leaked?" Yuki asks her and Harumi replied in her usual cold tone "This was 2 weeks before today." Yuki looked at the ground thinking about something "This still doesn't add up! how?!" these words flashed in his mind then he turns to Harumi and asks her to explain everything from the beginning, she nodded and started to tell Yuki in detail about everything happening.

She started with the first unusually occurring in The Dark Mafia, "Let's start from the beginning, It all started with the death of the leader or the boss of the Dark Mafia it was very unusually different because it wasn't supposed to happen because the pact they made with the Death demon gave them guarantee that the person with whom it would combine as a whole would or could never die in certain circumstances but this changed with the death of the Dark Mafia's boss and then the news of someone overtaking was revealed, now that person who took over the mafia did combine with the Dark Demon. Here's where the hiding fact comes in, He wasn't hiding but the people were just too blind to see that the boss changed other than the Mafia of course." This last sentence suddenly grabbed Yuki's attention and he remembers that no one had ever talked about the old boss for the past 15 years until this latest news. Then Harumi continued "The recent changes that had widely been noticed by the government official and The Agency Tec were the consecutive attacks on the people, which wasn't the style of the old boss, now the new boss did take over The Dark Mafia 15 years ago on 21st April 2007."

But Yuki interprets and finished her sentence for her " but the new boss pretended to be the old one and acted accordingly for no one to know." Harumi agrees and adds that he served so perfectly that even our informers were clueless about this 15-year hiding fact. Yuki again adds up that "If the Death demon guaranteed no death with the person whom it combined as a whole then that means the death of the mafia's old boss wasn't a normal death it was very well planned and executed murder." Harumi replies with a faint "Yes, correct."

Yuki now understands the whole matter but still, the fact that the Mafia's old boss death didn't let him act freely and this was noticed by Harumi she then replies that "The Death of the Mafia's old boss was only possible in two favorable conditions, First- a particular cursed ability which allows the person to manipulated other people into doing or saying certain things with anyone else knowing, mainly the thought process is manipulated into doing favorable things for the person controlling." Yuki looks at her and asks about the second condition is a bit of terror as if he already knows what it could be. Harumi replies with an icy tone "If the Dark demon itself is interested in the death and wants the odds to be in the murder's favor but the major disadvantage is that it'll only happen if the Dark demon sees the potential in that person or is intrigued by that person. Which can be a nightmare for the people or even for us as that person will be impossible to deal with in a fight. It's not easy for a person to make a demon act that way so it'll be terrible if it's the 2nd condition in this case." Yuki looks tense and the tension in the air around her is also really very serious, slowly but steadily Yuki gets the hold of the whole situation and understands the severity of this situation.

Yuki asks about the recent change that Harumi said earlier in this conversation. She replies "As you know the Dark Mafia is known for killing and before the death or the revelation of the new Mafia's boss, the organization was only limited to killing when necessary and only at a particular area at once but now it has all changed, from our informers we've got to know about the changes such as classifying the 20 most powerful curses according to their strength." Yuki replies that he somewhat knew about the classification but wasn't sure about the whole situation.

Suddenly, Harumi and Yuki's conversation is interrupted when a key stops in front of Harumi's face which was coming toward them at full speed, Harumi moves her left hand towards the key and grabs it. Yuki and Harumi both very well know what the key was there for. Harumi greets Yuki a good day and turns to leave before Yuki does the same. Harumi heads to the Time Castle and Yuki to his room.

Yuki reaches his room and closes the door. The darkroom covered with curtains prevents the sunlight from entering but this causes the room to be dimly lit and creates a very calm mood. He slowly sits on his bed and sight before going to the bathroom and switching on the tap for it to fill the bathtub with lukewarm water, He returns to his room and quietly opens his shirt which is covered in dust and is dirty. He takes it off and tosses it in the dirty cloth bag before entering the bathroom to take a quick but calming bath, He sits in the tub and slowly closes his eyes. Meanwhile, Kiyoshi and Saski lay on their beds sleeping and not showing any sign of waking up anytime soon. Yuki finally comes out of his bathroom with a towel in hand to dry his hair. He wears something comfortable and looks at the clock. "It's only 6 in the morning?! Goddamn, I want to die." with saying that he lays down on his bed and closes his eyes before falling asleep, The dreadful night slowly fades away from his mind and his eyes also respond similarly.

Harumi who was called to the Time castle reaches and sees Nozomi there but before Harumi could say anything Nozomi speaks "Harumi, I think that you are very well aware of the situation that took place last night. I want you to report there and I'll join you shortly, This could make a big issue if we aren't there to explain things. I've contacted the government official they'll be here to take you." Harumi nods and says "Sure no problem but why are you joining late?" Nozomi smiles and replies in a short and confusing answer "Death, I'll see you soon." and with that Noromi walks away.

Shortly after the government official comes to take Harumi and get notified about the situation that took place last night. Harumi nodded and followed them to the place where this supposed attack from the Dark Mafia took place. Meanwhile, Nozomi walks out of The Agency Tec and starts walking, She has supposedly been called to an old temple where the people have claimed to be seen a curse and it's putting all of their lives in danger. She starts with just walking to that place but when she takes the next step, She glitches and disappears into thin air. The leaves which were falling when she was walking suddenly fly with more speech and some are even displaced. She appears in front of the old temple, showing that the glitch was her speed and she covered the whole distance which at least takes two hours in just a few seconds. She enters and sees the people standing out of a room looking scared, She walks there and tells them who she is and the oldest monk approaches her and tells her that one of the kids playing near this room had been abducted by the curse and they are not able to do anything.

She asks them all they stand behind her and after saying that she opens the door to that room. As soon as she opens the door she can feel the presence of the curse and also the type of curse. The darkroom makes it hard for the others to look inside but Nozomi calmly walks inside and directly looks at the curse who was hiding just above the door of the room. The door suddenly closes with a loud sound and the people standing outside are scared to death.

One of them says "was it even a good idea to call her? we won't be able to take charge if she also dies."
