Letting Go

I wasn't able to stop having sex with her until a was spent since it has been a while. I don't think ghosts can get humans pregnant but I wasn't a ghost at that moment.

As I sit next to a sleeping Roseline and snoring father I look at the time and curse.

I rub my father awake and then Rose "I don't have much time left"

I hug my father quickly and when Rose looks at me it's with some hints of sorrow and others of regret.

"Will you come back?" she asks

I nod because I don't want to say yes or no to her or I would break her heart

"Why are you leaving, son?" my father asks

"Its the end of my birthday and almost morning so I have to go I'll either fade away or won't be seen or touched"

A clock bell chimes on Roseline's phone and she grabs my hand "Please"

I feel her hand become stiff as my hands fade and I let her go

I feel my father's sadness as my body fades and as I close my eyes and open them I am in the cemetery again and I sit on my gravestone.

I stare up at the sunrise and wish I was alive.

"Are you having fun?" the voice I know so well speaks

I turn and my eyes meet the eyes of the Devil's son himself "I did but if I get in trouble it's on you"

Lucius smiles "I can't get in trouble"

"Your alive so that begs to differ" I deadpan

He just pushes me off the stone and I land in the dirt without a sound or a pain.

"I'll look after your girlfriend how does that sound?" he laughs

"Do what you want!" I yell at him but as I walk away to go he grabs my arm which surprises me

"I am the Devil's son so don't get on my bad side" he snarls

"Are you fellows ok?" a familiar soft voice asks

My friend Jeremiah the angel walks over to us and separates us so we don't do anything stupid.

"A grim reaper to be hanging out with a demon and an angel sounds like a party but where are the hot girls?" he smirks

"Your crazy" I murmur

I hear a voice by a grave and look to see Rose by her parents graves and I grab Jeremiah and Max by their sleeves dragging them behind a green tree.

"I miss him so much I just wish he would come back so if anything happens to me he can be there to keep me on my feet..." I tear up

Jeremiah chuckles "She's hot alright"

Rose turns and sees him and screams and falls to the ground unconscious

"Fantastic" Max mumbles

"She feinted" I say

Jeremiah hops over the side of the tree and slides next to her followed by Max.

She opens her eyes and sees them by I am glad they went to human form and not their actual forms.

I walk over but stay out of sight

"What are you guys?!" she backs away from Max as he forgot his horns and Jeremiah forgot his halo

"I'm An angel and my name is Jeremiah" Jeremiah says

She pays more attention to Max than Jeremiah which makes me very confused

Max is a demon and Jeremiah is a angel

"Ethan loves you as well, but why are you so sad he's gone?" Max asks

Demons are stupid at reading human emotions

"No no no" she shakes her head

Jeremiah takes her hand and tried to heal the scratches that were caused from yesterday but it won't work on her

"Why won't it work on you?...." Jeremiah trails off as she slaps him and Max grabs her arm in a tight grip

and black veins spread on his skin and hers

She gasps in pain or is that Pleasure?!

I pull fists to my sides "Let her go!"

Max tries to take his hand off of her but she is oblivious and the veins in her arms spread to her neck

I run forward and grab her arm and she sees me clear as day and I manage to pull them apart.

The veins vanish instantly from her arms and neck and she opens hers eyes to look at me again

She leaps from her spot and to my surprise she hugs me

I'm not a ghost?!

Jeremiah chuckles again "She really misses you but it can't be helpful when your only alive when we are here"

Max gives Jeremiah a mean look "She's not your to play with so keep your nasty thoughts to yourself please"

Rose lets me go and stands up "I know your not gonna be alive ever but once you left I didn't feel good at all so I came here to see if I could find you--"

"What is it that you feel?" Max asks

"I have been dizzy all day but I don't have a fever at all" she shrugs

No.No.No she can't be this soon

My face must have been pale more than my ghostly pale now because Max looks at me while Jeremiah arches an eyebrow

"Ethan?" Rose touches my hand but it goes thru

My skin turns even paler and I feel like I am floating

"ETHAN JUST SAY SOMETHING ALREADY?!" Max yells at me

"Can a human get pregnant by a ghost or a half dead person?" I ask them

Rose gasps "What are you saying!?"

"I'm saying your pregnant, Rose" I love the sound of that in my mouth but I don't know for sure.

She bends over and throws up on the ground

Max holds her hair back as she throws up and when she's done she gets up and pushes Max away when he tries to help her.

"Ahhh" she then falls to the ground in pain while clutching her stomach

"Max, Jeremiah?!" I grab her but my hands only go thru

Max sighs "Whatever is inside her it's killing her or it's hungry for something"

Jeremiah laughs "I can feed it my sacred water and Max can try his demons venom and maybe just maybe Ethan can try his ghost venom"

Max slits his arm and holds it to her mouth and she sips it until he pulls his arm away. Jeremiah tilted his bottle of sacred water into her mouth and it flows as she swallows it. I slit my arm and lean over her and hold my arm to her lips and I watch as her eyes open.

Her eyes are a blue green and not brown anymore and as she opens them wider they turn brown.

"Are you feeling ok, Rose?" Max asks her

She groans and her stomach seems to move a bit as I now notice a bump that wasn't there before

"Who are you?" she asks us

My face pales

"Ethan is your boyfriend and we are his brothers" Max says

"I don't remember" she says

Max touches her forehead and closes his eyes and then she slaps his hand away

"Don't touch me you freak!" she shouts

I try to grab her hand but again it goes thru her hand

She turns to them "If I ever see you two again I'll kill you really your creeps"

Jeremiah chuckles and then Max laughs as she walks away
