Thule; The Feeder’s Tale

The curse can be lifted without bathing in the Eden River, and he knew a way. She turned to the "man" in front of her and scanned it for signs of deception, but found nothing but Eden River? She looked calm, but inside she was a mess and she felt like her gut was on fire. She didn't know why it happened, but she said her pain was a reminder that she was under her curse and that her body wasn't what it was supposed to be. She believes that Her body was getting ready to take over her soon, and she was frustrated that she couldn't do anything. The humanized demon got up from his seat and dropped his half-eaten apple among the fruits and walked towards her as if he had all the time in the world, well he did since he believed he could keep her here until he says otherwise. When he reached her he moved his fingers flexibly and made a chair out of stone, he sat on it leisurely and focused all his attention on the princess.

''I was once a disciple of the greatest wizard to have ever lived…" he began softly and slowly making sure every word he utters will be heard and sink slowly into her. ''being his disciples made everything so easy for us and yet difficult, imagine living with that paradox, it wasn't easy and yet it was so easy to learn sorcery, magic and make a change in the world, he wanted the best for us, our master, in fact he wanted us to be like him and do good like him and help a lot of people like he did and perhaps take many disciples and trained them like he did with us but we knew something he didn't, yes, we want to be as powerful as he was, we wanted that power and control he had, but not to help others, not to take disciples and train them, we wanted his position, we wanted to be more powerful than him, take away his title as the emeritus of sorcery, we wanted to be gods in the flesh and we didn't care what we had to do to get that, who said a student can't surpass his teacher"…he smiled evilly and she looked at him with disgust but she was curios about one thing though, what did he mean by we?

"We?", she voiced out her question.

"Sirius, the one they now refer to as the 'fallen one', seeking power from the 'first one' the one who brought calamity upon the 'first people' and made them fall from grace, he thought us things our master didn't teach us…"

"because they were forbidden, purely evil" …Batya said, it wasn't difficult to know the kind of things 'he' 'thought' them, it was contradictory to the teachings and doctrines of their master.

"You catch on fast, not bad, Lilith did choose right"…he sounded pleased "we didn't care whether what 'he' thought us was forbidden or not, it was getting us to our goal, we tried luring the other disciples of our plan, our motives, but they were scared, those scared-cats, they were too law abiding, for years we learnt of his teachings, our new master and oh, how we loved to call him master, 'our master'…" he closed his eyes in sheer ecstasy and Batya thought how corrupted and evil his soul has become, he was willing to do anything to usurp his master's throne as 'wizard king' become a god in the flesh like he said, evil did exist even before the beginning of time, it wasn't surprising how adamant it is now and how it wall started with greed, the greed for power, more power to control. She was inquisitive again, there is always a price, the devil never gave anything for free, he takes something valuable in return, so what did they barter for that power?

"there must have been a prize"

"Indeed there was, he wanted absolute loyalty, we swore allegiance to him, but he wanted something to seal us with, you know that we belonged completely to him, we sold him our souls, it was simple as that, imagine having to sell your soul for all that power, he was our master and for life he will be and even after death, we became what we always wanted to be, though we failed to recruits many, we were sure after we take the throne, we will establish a sect where 'he' will be glorified and we will teach our disciples his ways and how immeasurable are the merits of serving him"… his elated expression lost its value and hate wrapped him like cloth, he welcomed its agonizing chill.

"However, on the day we put our plans to action, we were shocked to see how powerful the wizard king that for all the time we learnt under him we never knew he had that much strength, he defeated us, and looking at us as we lay at his feet pleading, no not pleading for mercy, but we questioned him, we were hurt he had deceived us and hidden his real strength from us, in his anger, he called us 'disappointing' he called us his deepest regrets, he called us shameful and evil and he called us the devil incarnates, he casted us down, to eternal doom, we did not deserve that"… his face started changing, his body illuminating with dark powers, the atmosphere changed and at last the demonic scent he had hidden was unveiled, pure demon, she watched him causing havoc, the stone chair broke to pieces and his head began to elongate, hi entire figure began to change, he was transforming into the demon that he was, a terrifying creature.

Batya, looking upon the scene that unfold before her concluded that Azazel in all his damned splendors was better looking than the figure before her and she will rather spend her time looking at him than this disgusting figure here, do all demons look this horrifying? Words couldn't describe the image before her, no wonder he liked to remain in a human form, with this face and smell she bet his fellow demons were scared of him. He must have sensed the sudden change in the way he looked at him, he stopped his angry proclamations of how wicked and unfair his master had been and changed into his 'handsome human' form, he even made the shattered pieces of the stone chair into whole again and sat on it calmly.

"He made me a wanderer, that was my curse, never to step foot in the afterlife, heaven and hell rejected me and it was difficult living on earth, with my figure, I couldn't stand the sun, the moon, and even the light of day, I became anti to my own race, nature rejected me, I wasn't like Sirius who got lucky and was cast straight to hell, but to save his soul he fused his powers into a twig and later revived through Lilith, after his revival he abandoned me, numerous times I called to him for help and numerous times he rejected me…."

"You think you are victim here" …

"I know I am the victim, what wrong did I do for wanting more power, it was humane…"

"You brought calamity upon yourself, you made yourself a reject, you could have had a nice life, gotten married to a beautiful woman and had many babies, but you ruined your chance of becoming anything…" she didn't know where she got the courage from but she knew it wasn't from herself, the 'voice?' she felt anger seeping through her and she found herself getting stronger, the look of sheer horror on his face as he saw the same power he had in him manifest right before him was amazing, the chain he sealed with his emblem broke off as if it was just a piece of paper being torn, this was Sirius' power the one he always wanted, imagine having that magnitude of power in his possession, how powerful he will be, he will have all powers to himself and everything will go as he had planned, if his curse is to neither be human nor demon then he will make himself both.
