Chapter 28

Nephthys's POV

After punishing Lapis I rush to Izna's palace. I need to hug her and calm down.

"Great Pharaoh! You can't go in." Horus stops me.

"Slave do you know what you're saying? I'm your Pharaoh."

"Forgive my rudeness but my queen ordered not to let anyone in. She's busy with her brother."

"You dare to stop me?"

"You're great Pharaoh, God's child of this land but my master is queen Izna. I can't go against her orders."

"Guards!!! Take this slave and whip him 100 times."

Two of my guards quickly grabs his and take him outside. Others kick down the door to make a way. I enter Izna's chamber only to be shocked. She's standing almost half naked in front of a man.

"IZNA!!! What are you doing??"

"Nephthys! Perfect timing! Come and see....."

"SHUT UP!!!"

I quickly grab a cloth to cover her chest.

"Why are you showing your body to another man?"

"Nephthys listen to me first. Anhur is making a beautiful stone statue of me."

Did she just say Anhur!!??? I turn to look at him only to be shocked. He's got a strong, well built body. Almost like a god. The way he built up his muscles anyone can assume he's a fine rated warrior. And he has lots of scars all over his body. But what surprises me is his eyes. These can't be the eyes of any human being. His eyes look as if they are demon's eyes. He's very attractive and scary at the same time.

"How are you brother?" He smiles at me. Seeing his smile brings cold shivers to my spine.

"MONSTER!" My tongue slips.

He looks shocked for a moment.

"I'm sorry brother if I scared you. I should leave now."

"Wait no!! Anhur!" Izna holds his hand.

"Sorry Izna. I shouldn't have come here. Looks like Nephthys is disgusted with my face."

He leaves with the statue he was making. Izna tries to stop him.

"Let him go."

"Look what you've done!! He's sensitive about his face. You hurt him!"

"I didn't mean...."

"Just leave Nephthys. I don't want to talk to you."

She pushes me out of her chamber.
