1 Chapter 1

"Tick…. Tick….. Tick….." A clock ticked away, unknowing that it would exist no longer in just a few minutes…..

It was a desolate place indeed, dark and eerie, with a few flickering lights throughout. Shattered glass carpeted the floor and the walls were stained with dried blood. Corpses lay about, all of them, with their faces in an agony one could only imagine. Their necks twisted, bodies shriveled, pierced, many things had happened to them.

Tsuchiya Honami gracefully walked through the carnage, staring at the large glass exhibits. She was tall and lean, with a mature body and mind. Silky dark blue hair coming down to her knees and two purple eyes that seemed to pierce through the darkness. Wearing a black scarf, pants, and jacket, she traced her finger over the blood on the wall, inspecting it.

Kamisuzaki Aquarium. It had been three days since the mass disappearances had happened. The incident had apparently started around one o'clock that day. When the massacre had begun. A Curse of some sorts had manifested, and managed to wipe out about a hundred of the civilians who just wanted to look at some fish and such….

Thankfully, quite a few people had escaped the disaster, telling the police of what they had seen. And now she, Tsuchiya Honami, Special-Grade Sorcerror, was deployed to finish off what was said to be an estimated Special-Grade Curse. How fun.

As she walked, she made a few observations. For one thing, besides the obvious killing spree the Curse had gone through, there were no animal or fish corpses of any kind… The water was completely gone too. Kamisuzaki Aquarium housed over a hundred rare species of fish, with an estimated 4,000 individual living ones. The Aquarium was also home to a few turtles and other aquatic wildlife. The Curse must have had some role in this too….

Honami made her way across the main entrance and came across a door. Stepping over some more shards of glass, she lazily kicked open the door, and immediately knew something was up. You see, it was quite obvious at this point. Firstly, the door behind her had shut close, second, the space inside did not seem to be three stories tall, and was in fact about seven-ish, and the giant grotesque serpent monster sitting in the middle of all it, staring at her.

"Well, that's definitely a Special Grade…." Honami smiled, wrapping her scarf a little more tightly around her neck, to prevent it from falling off. The monster was huge, about the size of a garbage truck. Its head seemed to be slightly similar to that one would find from a Moray Eel, except this one also had the razor-sharp teeth of a shark and a large tumor growing out of one of its eyes.

Besides its head, the next most noticeable thing was its weird mangled body. Not mangled as in injured, but its body was twisted quite weirdly. Hard to explain. A giant shell lay on its back, a luminous green in color, Honami could see spikes jutting out of it. The Curses legs were also strange, covered in rotting fish scales of some sort with two giant talons extending outwards.

"Ugh… Gross..." She decided to get this over with quickly, and with a flash of purple light, a long katana had materialized in her hand. Sheathed, it had mystical glowing kanji symbols down the side of its sheath. Its handle seemed to be wrapped in multiple yellowed talismans of some sort and the whole blade exuded a crackling intense aura. Stretching out her legs, she suddenly lunged forwards, arriving in front of the Curse in less than a second. Lightly stepping on its head, she looked down at the tumor, her nose wrinkling a little.

Then, without a second thought, before the curse could even react, she unsheathed the katana, revealing its blade to the world once more. Her expression hardened, she spoke. "Transcendence: Fleeting Judgement!"

"Bang!"

Lightning crackled and thunder roared, as a fast arcing slash of ethereal purple lightning split the Curse down the middle, not giving it any time to think, electricity running rampant in its body.. Sighing, Honami jumped away as the Curse split, countless gallons of water erupting from its body, wave after wave crashing on towards her.

"Fwoom!"

"So this is where the water went…. Hm…." Honami lightly leaped up onto a pillar, looking around her. It was an incomplete domain. Quite common among curses in this area actually. The walls higher up were warped and twisted, trying to stay the same too the ones from the original building, and somewhat succeeding. The ceiling was covered with a giant sprawl of pipes and ventilation that one would normally find in a building of this sort. Trembling and groaning, it was clear the Domain wouldn't last long.

Suddenly, her eyes darted forwards. She could sense it! Her bright purple eyes glowing for a second, she sighed once more, for probably the fiftieth time this day. As she was sort of tired today, she hadn't thought about the Curse having a split smaller body. Must have tried to escape when the main body exploded. Quite the clever distraction…

But not enough. Honami lept down, stepping lightly on the surface of the water, before she slammed her boot down, infusing it with lightning and cursed energy alike. The branch Curse, a small fish-like creature with legs and arms, screeched, attempting to scramble up out of the water, but couldn't, and the lightning took it, piercing through its body and enveloping it completely. It was fried. Dead.

Clapping her hands together, she tossed the katana into the air, which floated for a second, before dispersing into glowing dust. The aquarium around her was beginning to glitch out of existence it seemed, the walls flickering and crumbling, roof pipes falling to the floor, and such. Honami stared up for a second before dashing off in a burst of purple lightning, gone, in an instant.

"The Curse is dead. Yes, it was Special Grade." She spoke on her phone, as she reached the exit, looking behind her as dust bloomed into the air, the aquarium collapsing. "And it seems, that the Aquarium collapsed in on its self. How strange…." Her beautiful electrifying voice was seemingly full of innocence and unknowing, but the caller on the other side knew better.

Almost every single Special-Grade Sorcerror in existence was unreliable. But, in the end, at least she wasn't as bad as a White Haired Broom Head, Satoru Gojo.

Looking around, Honami put her hands together, the curtain of Inky Darkness dispersing, revealing the stars and Moon above. Smiling, she stood there, silent.

"Okay. We'll send a team there to clean up." The caller promptly hung up, not wanting to talk to her anymore.

Walking out of the parking lot, Honami was greeted with a much different sight than the one she had seen within the aquarium. Cars honking, driving by, people walking down the street, chattering loudly. It was pretty festive.

Saturday's….. Why did she have to work on Saturdays…. Tsuchiya Honami once again, disappeared from view, flickering in and out of existence as she ran above the city of Tokyo, into the night...

Few Hours Later...

Honami sat in her large Tokyo apartment, overlooking the city. She was quite rich, as Special-Grade Jujutsu sorcerers were. Her house was quite luxurious, with smooth wooden tiling and tatami mats, marble walls, and a crystalline, neat kitchen, she had fused the wonders of Modern Interior Design with that of old Japanese Architecture.

The smell of tatami truly was nice. Sitting at her dining room table, she drank from a porcelain mug, the steam wafting through the air lazily, as one would see at a hot spring.

It had been twenty-one years it seemed. She remembered that day with quite a bit of clarity. It was the day she first opened her eyes to those fateful orphanage steps in downtown Shibuya. You see, Tsuchiya Honami was not an ordinary person. Well, yes she was a Special-Grade Sorcerror, but foremost, a transmigrator.

Having lived quite the ordinary life previously, she was just your average girl who loved tea and manga, but it all changed on one fateful Friday afternoon when on the way back from school, she was struck by lightning, most likely deep-fried, and woke up here, in this familiarly strange world.

The universe where a favorite manga series of hers, Jujutsu Kaisen, took place. But she hadn't come to this dangerous and unforgiving world alone, no. With her, she had brought the will of Eternity. In her transmigration, she had mysteriously gained the power of her Eternal Excellency, the Raiden Shogun. The Electro Archon, from Genshin Impact.
