46 Fighting the 3rd Rank Swine King Boar

Ye Fan, Chen Yuyan, Mei Yinxuan and Fan De were now facing the formidable 3rd rank Swine King Boar now, with Mei Yinxuan and Fan De rushing forward to engage it first as they were 4th realm cultivators.

Ye Fan and Chen Yuyan were to act as their support since they were only 2nd realm lowly cultivators that would be torn apart by this Swing King Boar anytime. 

Fan De raised his precious sword high into the air as he charged first and he was immediately followed by Mei Yinxuan who had also raised her precious sword.

Ye Fan saw that Fan De had a formidable heaven-step precious sword, which was better than the earth-step precious sword that his senior sister was using. 

However, no matter how good the grade of a precious is, it cannot be compared to a divine sword which is made of the precious heavenly relics which is a class above any precious swords.

And the only way to obtain a heavenly relic is usually through the legacy of powerful celestial sects as it has only a chance of forming if an ascended cultivator fails to ascend to the immortal realm. 

In short, the heavenly relics are the fallen condensed golden bodies of the saintly cultivators and the odds of it forming are only 1/3 of the time which made it extremely rare in the Dragontooth Continent. 

The furious charge of the Swing King Boar was met directly by Fan De who had displayed a powerful profound sword art that was taught to him and this was the Myriad Lightning Sword that had a sphere of electricity around it.

When Ye Fan saw this sword stroke, he was greatly impressed by it and he could tell that his senior brother Fan De had a high mastery in it. 

Also, what was really powerful was actually not Fan De's Myriad Lightning Sword but he was also able to use his Tyrant Chaos Soul to create a temporary burst of great profound power that could further enhance his already powerful Myriad Lightning Sword. 

Now this Tyrant Chaos Soul was also imparted to Wang Meng, who was a candidate with Ye Fan and Chen Yuyan as they took the entrance trial to become a protégé of the Profound Cloud Sect.

Mei Yinxuan was also using the Myriad Lightning Sword and the Tyrant Chaos Soul at the same time but her level of profound mastery was nowhere near to Fan De as evidenced that her precious sword only had the profound energy but not the sphere of profound energy of electricity that could be seen on Fan De's precious sword.

But it was also powerful enough.

Fan De immediately flew headlong into the charging Swine King Boar and he even had a grin on his countenance.

It was because it was the time to impress Mei Yinxuan and the gullible Chen Yuyan at the same time too. Also, he had the confident that he would be able to slay this lowly 3rd rank profound beast since he was at the 4th realm cultivation.

With a great shout, Fan De had made impact with the charging Swine King Boar now and he had made the first impact with his powerful sword art.

His sword reach was actually longer, of course.

His powerful sword art crackled with his profound might as it impacted on the head of the charging Swine King Boar but to his horror, he could not penetrate the skull at all and instead, the charge of the raging profound beast had sent him flying aside as he coughed out a gory mess of blood! 

Mei Yinxuan was alarmed as she tried to slash against the charging Swine King Boar but all her sword strokes were bounded off harmlessly by its thick hide!

And she was forced to step back or else she would be grievously be wounded by the charging Swine King Boar!

She could only panicky turned her head to shout at Ye Fan and Chen Yuyan at the back, "Watch out! Don't get into its way!"

Chen Yuyan screamed panicky as she fled backward.

But Ye Fan remained standing in the face of the charge even though he was greatly alarmed and his deft fingers were already on his second scabbard as he unsheathed his earth-step divine sword.

He was quite nervous about unsheathing his divine sword; even though divine sword may be powerful and has great profound power but it also saps the cultivator's profound strength. And he is only at the second realm cultivation and he is unsure if he could wield it skillfully in actual combat. This was a life and death battle and not a duel.

Although the battle had happened quite instantly but Ye Fan was able to analyze the situation in his mind.

Firstly, even though Fan De's Myriad Lightning Sword was extremely powerful and if he could handle it properly, it may even allow him to defeat the Swine King Boar. However, the powerful weight of the profound power that was on his sword destabilized more than half of his profound strength as he was actually using half of his profound strength to channel his powerful profound art forward. 

He noted that Fan De was merely hacking forward with the powerful profound sword art and there was no precision involved even though it was the still the right decision to aim for the head. 

But unfortunately for Fan De, he did not seem to understand that without precision, there was no added power to his profound attack and that half of the cumulated profound power would then be lost since he did not know the exact precision point that he would be aiming.

Secondly, the Swine King Boar was the height of Fan De and was charging. The inertia force that was produced by it was tremendous and it could even neutralize half of Fan De's profound power too. 

Ye Fan had remembered witnessing a duel between an old man who was a 2nd realm cultivator and a 4th realm cultivator. Before the duel, this old man would put on his armors, simply wielded a spear and only ride his mount.

But he was able to behead the 4th realm cultivator with just one stroke by charging at him.

Later before this old man had passed away due to old age, he had told Ye Fan his secret; the combined weight of his armors and mount, when charging at the target was able to amplify his killing power by an equivalent weight to power. Even if he uses a bamboo, with sufficient charge and impact, he would still be able to behead his opponent even though a bamboo was not meant to be used for beheading.

Therefore, Fan De could only be grievously wounded by the impact of the charge of the Swine King Boar when he failed to do damage to it. 

In fact, Fan De was coughing out blood and he was attempting to pick himself up now but he could not muster the strength to do so; his injuries were indeed quite severe with just a charging impact!

Ye Fan did not meet the charge of the Swing King Boar and instead, he had suddenly stepped aside when the Swing King Boar was near him.

This caused the Swing King Boar to lose momentum as it tried to turn around to attack Ye Fan.

Ye Fan was just waiting for this moment as he lifted the heavy weight of the divine sword into a striking force by displaying the First Sword of the Six Aura Sword which caused his divine sword to glow a bluish hue as he aimed for the head of the Swing King Boar.

Although his Six Aura Sword appeared to be less powerful than Fan De's Myriad Lightning Sword and Tyrant Chaos Soul combined, he was able to pierce the skull of this Swing King Boar and instantly killing it.

Although it may look less powerful but the actual profound power was twice as powerful as Fan De's Myriad Lightning Sword due to Ye Fan who was able to optimize his profound attack and the fact that the Swine King Boar had also lost its profound defenses due to losing its momentum! 

This stunned Mei Yinxuan, Chen Yuyan and even Fan De who had watched the battle unfolded before their eyes.

They simply could not believe that Fan De could kill a 3rd rank strong profound beast so effortlessly and he had only used a stroke of this Six Aura Sword.

There were perplexed looks on them as Ye Fan's profound attack appeared to be weaker than Fan De.

With so many divine senses trained on Ye Fan, they could not be wrong.

Fan De looked hatefully at Ye Fan as he muttered incoherently to himself: It must be due to the divine sword that is in his hands… damn… why did he have a divine sword in the first place?! His protégé mistress showers him with too much care…

Chen Yuyan was now trying to shower him with her affections and she was smiling at him, "Senior Brother Ye Fan, thank you for saving my life!"

Mei Yinxuan pretended to go over to Fan De to help him up and to check his injuries but secretly, she was quite scornful of Fan De now as he had betrayed their solitary vow.
