Ye Fan had announced that he did not know this Yang Kai at all even though he had just acknowledged him as his master.

Fairy Xuan Xueqi took a closer look at Ye Fan and saw that he was donning the robe of an outer court protégé of her own celestial sect.

She nodded before asking, "Why are you doing here?"

Ye Fan casually answered, "Senior Sister Leader Fairy Xuan Xueqi, this Protégé Ye Fan is training my foundation cultivation here when this man has dropped from above the cliff and has died. Then you have come."

He looked as innocent as possible as he asked, "Are we under an attack from an enemy cultivator from the other celestial sect?"

Fairy Xuan Xueqi looked at him with some suspicions but her divine sense had quickly told her that this Ye Fan was indeed at the Foundation Stage and she could not sense the presence of the Golden Lotus Natal Pill in him.

Ye Fan knows that she was just trying to check his meridians to see if he has consumed the Golden Lotus Natal Pill.

Also, Ye Fan was looking too calm and there was no fluctuation on him. Morever, he had a kind of honest and gullible look on him as well.
