1 Prologue.

'Life is very unfair ...'

It was what Liu Leng thought one night while sitting in front of the bed, watching with sad but warm eyes a beautiful woman who slept under the covers while her left hand out of the sheets was held by him.

The name of the "sleeping beauty" was Liu Lixue, his mother, who was a beautiful woman with a mature and soft body. Her age seemed to be around her thirty-something, but even so, she possessed an extremely beautiful and sensual figure. Her breasts were bulgy, her skin remained soft and elastic and she was white like jade, her legs were soft and long, along with her well-formed hips made her an incredible beauty that could make any man drool.

But as if the gods did not allow such beauty in this world.

After giving birth, she was aggravated by a strange disease that causes the weakening of the body and the vital force until it causes death.

"Mother ..." Liu Leng murmured as he watched the beautiful face of his sleeping mother and listened to her faint breath. His mother stood firm against the disease and managed to raise him until his thirteenth birthday where she finally couldn't stand, and fell into a deep coma.

According to what Liu Leng managed to investigate; the disease is called 'Weakening of Xuan channels' which is caused by the lack of Xuan energy in the body, in the channels and points of force. This causes the body to fail and weaken at the same time that its vital force begins to decline rapidly.

He had not known about his mother's illness until the moment she collapsed; without a doubt, his mother knew how to hide her situation quite well under that warm smile that always showed him...

The disease of <Weakening of Xuan channels> is not incurable, it requires a variety of medicinal plants and a teacher experienced in making pills to cure the disease.

Liu Leng made a huge effort and paid all the money he had to try to hire the only 'Alchemist Master' left in the village. But it was useless. Even if he gave his life in exchange for the pill for his mother, the Alchemist Master would answer the same thing again;

"Do you think your life is worth more than my services, brat?! Let me tell you something brat. In this world, there are hundreds or rather; thousands of people and families looking to hire my services and are willing to pay more money than you could gather in a hundred lives!"

Full of anger, Liu Leng tried to insist, but the Alchemist Master's guards beat him and threw him into a puddle of dirty water with a broken rib and a broken right arm.

'And now, what can I do? How can I save my mother?!' He wondered full of rage and with his aching body as he clenched his teeth and forced himself to endure the pain of his wounds. But more pain caused him the frustration of being helpless watching his beloved mother die.

And even more frustrated he felt when he remembered he didn't have much time left.

According to his research, the disease has a predetermined time limit where it ends with the victim's life after 15-16 years of contracting the disease.

His mother, Liu Luxue, contracted the disease one or two years after his birth, and now he would be celebrating his sixteenth birthday next month.

That would leave him with a time limit of one or two years to get the pill that heals his mother or find another way to cure her.

Otherwise, she will die...

How can I cure you? How can I cure you? ... It was what Liu Leng always wondered every time he saw his sleeping mother.

He had no family other than Liu Luxue. He never had siblings, nor did he meet his mother's family and never met his father.

His father was one of the riddles he always wondered, but his mother always told him that he was a wonderful man who had long since passed away. Although Liu Leng still had his doubts, since in the story told by his mother he had found many incongruities and parts that did not fit.

But out of it, for Liu Leng, his only family and the woman who cared most in life was and would remain his mother Liu Luxue. Without her, he would be completely alone and would lament eternally for not being able to save her.

How can I cure you?

It was at that time. Inside the room while watching the beautiful face of his mother Liu Luxue. Suddenly in the sky, over the village where he lived. A strange little pink glow that nobody noticed, appeared for a few moments and then, from there, it fell a mysterious black book wrapped in layers of steam as if it had just left some kind of oven.

The mysterious book fell through the clouds and as if it were somehow called by something. It went swiftly through the skies, passing over the dozens of houses in the village until it stopped over one in particular.

The house that was small and humble, made entirely of old wood; it was the house of Liu Leng and his mother.

The mysterious book kept floating above the house for a few seconds and then fell.

-

"Hmm? ..."

Liu Leng who was taking care of his mother, looked up at the ceiling, believing he had heard a blow.

His attention on the ceiling only lasted a few seconds and just as he was about to turn his eyes to his mother, he suddenly saw something that made him widen his eyes.

"….!!"

From the ceiling, a black book began to pierce it as if it were some kind of flan where you throw yourself and due to the weight, you end up going through it and passing to the other side.

"What the hell!?"

The book ended up going through the ceiling and fell.

Liu Leng instinctively extended his hand, to prevent the book from falling on his mother and hurting her.

* Pop *

With a dry noise, the mysterious book fell into his hands...
