Secret hunt

Rain poured down like a deluge in the eerie dark night.

Rumble!

The thundering sound echoed in the valley.

Pant, pant… Two middle-aged men were running at their full capacity while panting because of their tiredness.

However, a shadow which was chasing after them didn't allow them to take a breather.

"Who have we offended? Why is our luck so bad?" The taller middle-aged man spoke with a hint of indignation in his voice.

Another shorter middle-aged man who was also running pondered for a moment before speaking, "I think it's Golden Phoenix Pavilion. We previously offended them and now they have started to show their true strength."

"What? Weren't they just a bunch of Qi Condensation Realm newbies? How the hell did they grow so strong?" The taller man seemed sceptical of his partner's claims.
