38 Qi Baishi returns

After a while, Shuaji and Alchemist Yan prepared to leave the restaurant. 

Jun who has been watching from a corner all this while, approached them with a gentle smile. 

"Alchemist Yan, I have long heard about your impressive deeds. I am Ban Xi, may I have a word with you?" 

Alchemist Yan sized up Jun with a curious gaze. "Sure, boar man, but you will have to buy me a drink?" 

"Boar man?" Jun squinted his eyes and felt like punching Alchemist Yan's face.

"Hmph!" Alchemist Yan snorted coldly and turned to leave without saying a word. 

Shua Ji followed behind him with an apologetic look.

Jun nodded with a smile. It seems investing in the battle arena was a good thing.

While conversing with Qi Baishi, Jun's gaze was attracted to the two spirit beasts following behind Qi Baishi. 

"Are these your tamed beasts?" 

Qi Baishi nodded and introduced the two beasts. "This bird-type beast is Harmony Luan Bird. It has the potential to reach the 7th rank and has the innate ability to cast illusions." 

"As for this amphibian-type beast, it's called Absolute Gluttony Frog, it has the potential to reach 6th rank and has the innate ability to devour Qi and spiritual energy." 

Qi Baishi introduced his two tamed beasts with a prideful smile.
