The blood-thirsty night had come to an end, as the sun crested the horizon, but the darkness had a lasting impact on Keith.
Supporting that all of his actions yesterday were for survival is a lie. Yesterday he delved into a new dimension of himself, a wild and insane psychopath who adored excitement more than anything else.
The sun rose, and the rays entered the hut, piercing through the broken shade, and fell on Keith's eyes.
As the dazzling light pierced his eyelid, he attempted to move around, he was hit by an intense pain through his chest, and it was so intense that he couldn't even breathe.

He felt such intense pain that his eyes were wide open, his body was stunned, and he was afraid to move even an inch.

In a distant part of the forest, far away from where Keith was sleeping, battle signs of the previous night were clearly visible.
The carcasses of the wolves, the stench of the poison, the burnt carcass of the leader all was still there. The carcass was fresh, but the smell of poison kept most of the animals at bay, making them hesitate to eat it.
Despite the meat being poisonous, there were still some beasts who enjoyed it.
A person was staring at a dead pack of wolves with a pale face, shaking hands, and cold sweat dripping down his back.
" What happened, how did they die, wasn't I supposed to fight them and get injured..? "
The shock was tremendous, his legs were shaking and his eyes were trembling. He attempted to grab the support of the tree, but his hand slipped.

It was then that he saw a boy his age, looking at him, all he could feel was rage and loathing.
The guy was handsome, no, not just handsome, his looks were godly, and he could not stand that some were more beautiful than himself, after all he was the protagonist of this world.
So he decided to lure the wolves at this guy, after the wolves killed him, he can go defeat them. His plan worked, and the wolves followed through.
" Did that puny ass bastard did this..?"

He had a triumphant smile on his face when he pondered it.
