The Heavenly Tribulation was an overlord, unstoppable whether it was in a small world or a realm protected by intricate formations. It found its way and struck Liu Xin, regardless of the barriers separating time and space.
Liu Xin swiftly mobilized his spiritual energy to its maximum capacity. As the lightning struck his body, an intensely hot and formidable energy invaded his system.

His body became unbearably hot. He employed his qi to cool himself down, but the temperature only dropped by a degree or two.
The next lightning bolt descended, followed by another.
His body had already turned black, indicating that it wouldn't be long before it transformed into charcoal.
