23 Chapter 23 - Ending of Clan Competition

"I will challenege Liu Xin!"

Right after the battle between Li Jia and Leng Fei, a woman in Late Foundation Building Stage, named Wu Ying.

She was a beautiful girl but had an aura of playfulness.

Liu Xin was stunned for a moment. 'I didn't expect to be challenged...' He sighed and jumped from the building to the arena.

With a calm face, he took out his recently forged sword that emitted an aura of coolness.

Wu Ying took out her whip which was made up of thick rope and a golden handle. As she rotated the whip and hit the ground, the ground cracked.

Liu Xin's expression didn't waver. "Please enlighten me!" Wu Ying shouted and charged at him.

Liu Xin calmly circulated his movement technique 'Lighting Step'.

A trail of lighting left his body as he moved toward her. As the whip came to hit him, he suddenly circulated 'Shadow Shroud' and disintegrated into the shadow and jumped from it instantly.

Wu Ying reacted very fast and jumped pulling back the whip and striking Liu Xin.

Liu Xin's sword collided with the whip, tearing it apart. The whip was half torn. Wu Ying's eyes widen at the sharpness of the sword.

She circulated her technique and the whip regenerated to its peak. She let out another technique as her whip length widen.

An aura of danger shrouded it as she pushed it toward Liu Xin. Liu Xin dodged every strike and appeared before Wu Ying.

Wu Ying threw the whip up, and strike her palm. She circulated her technique instantly and her palm glowed.

Liu Xin also threw his sword up and circulated his defence technique named the Water flow technique. A small water-like barrier appeared before which slowed down her palm and strength.

Her palm pierced the barrier but before could hit him, Liu Xin grabbed her wrist, rotated his body, and jumped pulling her.

"Ah!" She let out a small scream as her wrist hurt. He grabbed the sword and pointed at her neck at lightning speed winning the battle.

It was just a small duel, not life to death battle to severely injure or kill her.

Liu Xin released her wrist and returned back to his seat.

"Great battle!" Xiao Wei congratulated him and again sat on his lap as if it was normal. Liu Xin also didn't mind and patted her hand gently.

After that, the other top 10 disciples challenged other core disciples, and only Xiao Wei was left.

In the end, no one challenged Xiao Wei.

After the end of the clan competition, the disciples didn't leave but became more vigorous.

"Now, let us begin the duel between core disciples!" The announcer announced.

Jing Tao V/S Liu Xin.

Xiao Wei V/S Leng Fei.

Finally, Wang Jing V/S Zhang Hao.

Jing Tao and Liu Xin's battle were at the end.

Right now, Wang Jing and Zhang Hao stood in the arena.

Wang Zhi's weapon was a small dagger. She took out her both daggers and played out while Zhang Hao took out his gauntlet and wore it.

It was made up of white metal and looked shiny. Zhang Hao and Wang Zhi fought.

Their technique wasn't that dazzling, however, their fight wasn't boring either.

Wang Zhi used her technique to throw a dagger which was blocked by Zhan Hao.

Zhang Hao's gauntlet glowed and his punches were more threatening.

Wang Zhi was more agile and slip out from his every attack, her dagger tried to piece through Zhang Hao at every opportunity.

But his defence was tough and his reaction was instant. He also dodged her attacks.

In the end, after an hour, the result was out. Zhang Hao finally managed to land a punch and finish Wang Zhi.

After winning, he was also tired and collapsed.

Next battle-

Leng Fei and Xiao Wei. Both of them landed on the stage and took their stance.

Leng Fei took out her bow while Xiao Wei took out her small sword.

She looked innocent while Leng Fei looked cold. It was usual. They had no extra emotion on their face.

Right after, the both of them rushed.

Leng Fei shot her arrow at lightning speed. Xiao Wei swung her sword pouring little qi. The arrow disperse right after getting sliced.

Xiao Wei zoomed toward Leng Fei. Leng Fei took out her dagger and blocked the attack.

Xiao Wei instantly rotated her body, and circulate her technique. Countless water drops emitted out from her sword and bolted at Leng Fei.

Leng Fei instantly teleported and the water drops pierced the ground.

Leng Fei shot her arrows from behind. The technique she circulated, made her arrow replicated. Each of them was positioned in a way that looked like a big arrow.

The big arrow let out immense pressure and tried to stab Xiao Wei.

Xiao Wei took a deep breath. Her body rotated at an incredible speed and turned into a mini tornado.

Her sword also duplicated and floated around her. The rotating blade tornado collided with the arrows producing sounds.

As the arrow finished, and Xiao Wei stopped, Leng Fei appeared before her stabbing her with the knife.

Xiao Wei predicted that as she jumped high and threw her sword.

The sword glowed and landed at Leng Fei's place. Leng Fei teleported again. Her face was paler than before.

The sword exploded and created a mini crater but it was instantly recovered.

Xiao Wei again used another technique. A dragon appeared out of her body and marched at Leng Fei.

Leng Fei emitted pure blue qi that took the shape of a wall.

Both dragon and wall collided and exploded. Xiao Wei also teleported in front of Leng Fei.

Leng Fei used her bow as a weapon and strike at her. Her bow was enchanted by her technique and was sturdier.

Xiao Wei swiftly dodged it and swung her blade.

Leng Fei created an arrow out of her qi and collided with the blade blocking her attack. She kicked Xiao Wei.

Xiao Wei threw her sword as it collided with the arrow, and grabbed her leg. With the support of Leng Fei's leg, she jumped and kicked her.

Leng Fei was pushed back. Xiao Wei took her sword and rotated.

Her body and sword resonated and she floated. Her sword floated in front of her and between the sword and her, a ball of qi appeared.

The qi exploded and the sword was pushed at immense speed. Leng Fei teleported again as she couldn't dodge the attack.

Her body weakened as she lost most of her Qi. Xiao Wei also teleported near Leng Fei and punched her.

Her fist emitted dense qi and took the shape of a bigger fist that landed on Leng Fei's stomach.

"Aah!" With a shrill, she was tossed at the end of the arena.

She lost the match however Xiao Wei panted heavily.

With a smile, she jumped and landed before Liu Xin.

"That was a great battle." He patted her.

Finally, his and Jing Tao's battle arrived.

He jumped and landed. Similarly, Jing Tao landed in front of him.

"Junior, receive my sword!"Without a warning, Jing Tao rushed at Liu Xin, with his grand sword.

"Please!" Liu Xin sword also tightened in his hand and was ready to block the incoming attack.
