15 Completing the Quest

Once Yuan and Xiao Hua entered the cave, Xioa Hua said "Brother Yuan I sense two presence inside the cave one is the Demonic Spider and the other is a little girl"

Yuan was slightly surprised by that since it means that man's daughter is alive

"Let's hurry" Yuan said

The two of them began running deeper into the cave until they encountered what appeared to be an entrance to another area in the cave.

"The Demonic Spider is right beyond that point, Brother Yuan, and it appears to be at the fourth level Spirit Warrior realm." Xiao Hua said to him after scouting for him using her spiritual sense.

"Another weak monster" Yuan thought

After entering the boss room, Yuan could see a spacious area with webs and bones littering the ground, but there was no sight of the Demonic Spider.

But he can feel the Demonic Spider with his Divine Sense, a 5-meter tall monster with a half-human and half-body spider

Suddenly the Demonic Spider kicked its legs and jumped at Yuan with its large mouth wide open.

Yuan quickly moved back

"Looks like we have quite the nimble one here." The Demonic Spider suddenly spoke in a hoarse voice

"Hahaha, what can a First Level Spirit Warrior do, you cannot defeat me, you should just give up and let me eat you as desert before eating that little girl" The Demonic Spider said with a grin on it's face

The Demonic Spider then turned to look at Xiao Hua and said, " This is truly my lucky day. Your skin is very smooth and beautiful I bet you are going to be very delicious."

The smile on its face grew even wider when it imagined taking a bite from Xiao Hua's tempting body.

Yuan looked at the Demonic Spider with a cold expression

The Demonic Spider instincts screamed at it that it should run "What...? am I terrified by that human gaze?"

Yuan's body suddenly exploded with immense spiritual energy and a heavenly aura, and his sword gushed with a golden light that was so bright and thick that the blade itself could no longer be seen, almost as though it'd turned into a pillar of light.

After raising the sword towards the heavens, Yuan swung it vertically as though he wanted to split the seas and separate the heavens.

A golden beam of light then shot out from the sword and rushed at the Demonic Spider, and if one looked closely, they would be able to see the image of a dragon within the golden light.

The Demonic Spider watched the golden beam flying towards it with wide eyes, and before it could react the golden beam reached it.

The golden light consumed the Demonic Spider's figure, before destroying its body into a million pieces until there was nothing left of its existence.

However, the golden light did not stop even after erasing the Demonic Spider and continued to fly towards the end of the cave.

BOOM!

The entire cave shook violently as Yuan's sword strike created a massive hole in the cave.

"Anyway Brother Yuan are you okay?" Xiao Hua asked since this is the first time she saw Yuan with that expression

"Don't worry I just didn't like the way it talked about you" Yuan said with a smile

"Let's go find that man's daughter" Yuan said

Xiao Hua was very happy that Yuan cared about her that much

Sometime later they found the man's daughter unconscious, after that they began making their way out of the cave, and a few minutes later, they reached the exit.

"Y-You are! What happened to my daughter?!" The middle-aged man asked seeing Yuan holding his daughter

"Don't worry she is just unconscious and will wake up after sometime" Yuan said and he continued "Most importantly why did you lie to us?"

The middle-aged man immediately got on his knees and kowtowed to them, "I'm sorry, Cultivators! I had no choice because the Demonic Spider has my daughter! It said that if I brought ten humans to it, it would let my daughter live!"

"You are lucky that we came since the Demonic Spider never planned to keep it's words, It would've eaten your daughter today"

The middle-aged man frowned and just imagining living without his daughter terrified him, and he immediately thanked Yuan "Thank you esteemed cultivation we will forever be indebted to you, and I am sorry for lying to you"

"You can call me Yuan, and don't worry I understand that you did it for your daughter" Yuan said while handing the little girl to him

The middle-aged man immediately hugged her with tears in his eyes

"Young Master Yuan, please take this as my apology for lying to you" The middle-aged man said before taking out a beautiful plant with seven colorful leaves that resembled a rainbow.

"That's the Seven Colored Herb, Brother Yuan!" Xiao Hua immediately recognized this beautiful plant and said in an excited voice while pulling his sleeves.

"The Seven Colored Herb is an extremely rare medicine that does not grow in any specific location in this world! Most people live their entire life without seeing one! It's a priceless treasure!" she continued

Before Yuan could say anything the middle-aged man said, This medicine was found by my daughter. and I'm sure that she would want you to have it."

Yuan nodded and accepted the herb

"Here take this" Yuan suddenly said and he tossed a small pouch at him

"Thank you" the middle-aged man bowed to him one last time before turning around and walking away while holding his daughter.
