13. First Fight With A Human

"Now look beside me, in this box, numbers from 1 to 18 are written in pairs.

You all have to choose a number, and the matching number of participants will have to fight. Do you all understand the rules, right?"

As the guy turned around to enjoy the praise of the audience, nobody said anything; they just cursed at him.

The guy walked off the arena, lowering his head in shame. He didn't even know what he did wrong, but once his clan members explained the reason, he felt embarrassed.

And just like that, after a couple of boring fights, an interesting fight happened between two boys from major clans. It couldn't be said to be interesting, but it was better than before.

After two hours, it was finally Universe's turn to showcase his power, and his opponent happened to be a girl from a minor clan.

Standing on the arena, Universe looked towards the girl, who was as thin as a bamboo pole. Universe was really afraid she might get hurt during the fight, and because of this worry, he made a mistake during the fight.

While they looked at each other, the host suddenly gave a signal to start the fight.

Universe still used his low-level sword which he got from the guard in the forest, but nobody knew that it was the strongest sword present at this moment.

Just as the girl came running towards him, Universe waved his sword as if swatting a fly, and an invisible sword energy shot towards the girl. To his surprise, the girl managed to dodge the attack.

Seeing this, he became serious and started a sword clash with the girl.

On the high platform, Yu Ming looked at Universe and sighed.

"He just let his chance slip away just like that."

When Elder Yu Lao heard him, he also nodded. "It's really strange; I thought Young Master would be stronger than this."
