Chapter 43: New Cultivation System?

Jun's ambition had long outgrown the confines of the foundation establishment realm. Despite his ability to leapfrog four major realms, limitations became apparent when he faced formidable opponents, proof being Elder Lili.

He had been hoping to create his very own cultivation technique since the first day he got his system but unfortunately at the time he did not have much knowledge about cultivation, but now it's different.

After reading so many Earth, Heaven, and King-level techniques from the abandoned city, his knowledge increased explosively. But this wasn't just a simple memorization of techniques but a full mastery of every single one. 

With all this knowledge in one's head, a normal or even genius cultivator could at most produce a King-grade technique since they wouldn't be able to remember every single bit of knowledge or make references to certain techniques to build upon. But this wasn't a problem for Jun with his 10,000x comprehension.

Jun had previously created his own technique but never really had the time to put it into use, even now it has sort of lost its use since Jun plans to create a technique that uses this new spiritual energy he found, coupled with the new knowledge of cultivation he has.

"Maybe I can create a new system entirely" thought Jun.

Surprisingly after thinking about it, this idea started to sprout in Jun way early on as well but now he was ready. Taking into account how spiritual energy seems to have different effects when at different intensities.

Jun could try to integrate these concepts into his cultivation system and invent a new system entirely, one that deviates from this world. Although it's a challenge, its not impossible with his system.

The body tempering realm as its name suggests is where a cultivator strengthens their body to receive spiritual energy for when they enter the Qi realm.

"But this new spiritual energy, it's in harmony with the human body, doesn't this bypass the need for the body-tempering realm?" Jun mused, excitement bubbling within him.

Doesn't that mean one can skip directly into the Qi realm? Not necessarily, the body tempering realm only has 9 levels but no further, why can't you go to level 10 or 20? This is because the body can't be tempered any further or in other words can't handle more of that energy.

"Why limit the body tempering to just nine levels? What if we could push beyond, to level 15, 20, or even 30?" Jun's thoughts raced, envisioning a cultivation foundation so robust it could support unprecedented realms of power.

They say the foundation of a cultivator is the most important to achieving greater heights and potential, and now Jun is building a foundation like no other, wouldn't he be able to achieve realms beyond the known ones?

"I can't even begin to imagine the benefits of this," Jun thought. 

It's also known when a cultivator reaches the Qi realm, they get a certain capacity of energy to use, but what determines this? Is it the body's potential or how much the body has been tempered?

From having read so many techniques, Jun came to the conclusion that two factors come into play. They are talent and the body's potential that determine this capacity. 

Jun looked at his own panel.

"My talent is atrocious compared to Yinlings"

Jun turned to Yingling who was looking at him expectantly.

"What's wrong?" Jun asked.

"Well... when are you going to set up that formation so we can start cultivating this new energy?"

"Oh yeah..." Jun laughed sheepishly.

Although he wanted to get Yinling to also try this experimental cultivation system with him, it's too dangerous without guidance. Jun himself is confident he can stop any danger from happening with his 10000x comprehension power since the nanosecond something goes wrong he can analyze it and implement a solution.

With Yinling, not so much.

"Actually, I was thinking you should practice like last time your attributes... I'm on the verge of creating an entire new cultivation system that is different from the traditional one"

Yinling felt her entire mind buzzing hearing Jun's words, a new cultivation system? These words would have sounded Ludacris in her mind if she hadn't already seen and felt the concepts of Jun's mind on display. 

Just like Jun, she too could cross 4 large realms but not as much as Jun since her energy manipulation wasn't so high. 

In the face of these words, Yinling didn't back down.

"Can I learn this?"

Jun's eyes widened a bit but quickly calmed down.

"I need to test it myself first. I wouldn't forgive myself if anything happened to you" Jun smiled gently.

Yinling's response was swift and heartfelt—a warm hug that caught Jun by surprise.

"Your so sweet" Yinling said raising her eyes to meet Jun and smirked seeing Jun red as a beat.

Jun's heart fluttered with a cocktail of emotions. "Th-thanks, Yinling," he managed to say, his words stumbling over each other.

Yinling let go chuckling and stood up "If you need me, I'll be taking a nap," Yingling said while going to the bedroom with a sway in her hips.

Jun's mind raced with possibilities. "Is she...?" he wondered, his hopes rising up. Jun stood up and was about to take a step towards her when suddenly Yinling firmly spoke "No"

Jun deflated and sat back down, shoulders slumped, "I knew it was too good to be true".

With a sigh, Jun started pondering the ins and outs of this new cultivation system he was creating. With his 10000x comprehension speed, his mind was going thousands of miles per hour.

Hours passed and soon the very first book of its kind appeared in this world. This book spoke about the concepts of energy and their effects at different frequencies. How to absorb the new spiritual energy into one's body and for higher realms as well. 

Currently, it was only a Hevean-level peak technique since Jun needs more time. This shows the difficulty of the task if even Jun with his 10000 comprehension couldn't even make it a king-grade technique after mastering so many cultivation techniques.
