Chapter 44: The world's power systems in turmoil

After the tractor race, Zenith Heaven Emperor's disciple was sent into space just like in the original work.

It's been a few weeks since then, and not much has happened on the surface. The rebuilding effort is progressing steadily, and Zenith Heaven Emperor occasionally lend a hand, using his immense powers to help speed up the process.

However, deep within the cultivation world, the big bosses have already begun with their schemes. The Ninth Heaven Saint Domain prosperity Project is progressing at full speed, and the Heavenly Court's reconstruction is just a small part of it.

The cultivators involved in the project are determined to bring prosperity to the cultivation world and elevate their status even further. They believe that the cultivation world should rule over all other supernatural forces, including the demons, ghosts, and monsters.

But little do they know that their actions have caught the attention of other supernatural forces outside of the cultivation world. These forces have a suspicion that the cultivators are planning something big, but they have no idea what it could be.

In the west, there exists a powerful faction, the Western Holy Paladins. They are just like cultivators, with many sub-factions and their own power system. Just like cultivators, they are prosperous and hold control over many realms, with their size not being that much inferior to the cultivators.

Among their many factions, the Church, the League of Dictators, and the American Crusaders are the most powerful. Just like the cultivators, they are hidden away from the eyes of the mortals. However, unlike the cultivators, the Holy Paladins hold control over the mortal world through their institutions like the Church.

The Church, in particular, is a super force led by a self-proclaimed God with powers equivalent to a Super Eternal Life Being of the Cultivation system. However, he has no interest in becoming the Heavenly Way due to his suspicion that it's a trap of Heaven. The Catholic Church is led by the Pope in the eyes of mortals, but behind the scenes, many practitioners of the Holy Paladins Power System are part of it. They are a super force only slightly weaker than the Heavenly Court and are currently the dominant power, due to the Heavenly Court being destroyed. It is also the reason why the west rose in the past. The various different churches under them have great influence over parts of Europa as well as South and Central America.

On the other hand, the League of Dictators is a group of evil dictators that once controlled the European Continent. Unlike what is public knowledge, most monarchs and dictators were actually Holy Paladins comparable to Eternal Life Beings. Many famous historic individuals that once controlled the mortal world are part of this, including Napoleon, Stalin, and Hitler. They have immense influence over the countries they once ruled, with the current leaders being their puppet leaders. At one point of time they even conquered most of the mortal world due to the practitioners of the other power systems not being interested that much in controlling the mortal world, instead being more seclusive. Ultimately, they however fell into internal conflict, causing the two world wars as a result.

The American Crusaders control the USA and Canada and have the most direct control of the mortal world. Their leaders are always high-ranking members of their faction, and democracy is just a farce since only members of them can run for elections in the first place. They once were part of the Church and League of Dictators, but over time split off more and more until they formed their own faction.

The Holy Paladins are hidden from the world, just like cultivators. They recruit new members through various institutions, such as the Church, and their influence extends far and wide. But their internal factions, the church in particular, are in chaos and on the brink of collapse.

The wars between these factions are the most famous in the world of the mortals, with the two world wars being the result. While the cultivators also have many famous battles, unlike the Holy Paladins they usually don't involve mortals and directly fight among themselves.

After the two world wars, 'God' forced them to sign an agreement to work together and not cause any more wars. This leads us to the current situation, where the leaders of the Western Holy Paladins have been growing increasingly suspicious of the cultivators' actions, and they suspect that they are working together to bring about some grand plan. Therefore, they have called a secret meeting between the heads of their three most powerful factions: the Church, the League of Dictators, and the American Crusaders.

The meeting takes place in a dimly lit room, deep within the Vatican City. The atmosphere is tense as the three leaders gather around a large table. The head of the Church, who goes by the name of 'God' speaks first. "I have called you here today because I believe that the cultivators are planning something big. We must act fast to uncover their plan and stop them before it's too late." The other two leaders nod in agreement, and they begin to discuss their next steps.

Little is known about these elusive figures, even to the cultivators. They operate in secrecy and are even more seclusive than cultivators. Despite this, they have managed to spread their influence throughout the entire African continent, with many different sub-factions practicing their craft.

The Witch Doctors are less prosperous than the cultivators, but they are not to be underestimated. They have been since ancient times and have played a significant role in the development of many early civilizations, such as the Egyptians. Their magic is deeply rooted in the natural world, and they believe that everything has a spirit or soul that can be tapped into.

Like cultivators, the African Witch Doctors are also hidden from the mortal world. They recruit new members from within their own tribes or communities and only reveal themselves to those they deem worthy. Those who show potential are taught the ways of magic and trained in secret until they are ready to join the ranks of the Witch Doctors.

Within the Witch Doctors, there is a complex power structure that is not fully understood by outsiders. Each clan has its own leader, but there is also a council of elders who oversee the entire organization. It is said that the Witch Doctors also have a prophecy that foretells the arrival of a great leader who will unite the many different factions and power systems.

News of the cultivators' suspicious behavior has reached their ears, and they are concerned. For ages, the Witch Doctors have remained neutral, not taking part in any conflicts between supernatural forces. The leaders sit around a large, carved wooden table, decorated with intricate patterns and symbols. They discuss the information they have received, and some are uneasy about the cultivators' actions. "We have always remained neutral in the past, and I see no reason to change that now," says one of the leaders. "We must continue to operate in secret and focus on our own goals."

Another leader speaks up. "But what if the cultivators' actions threaten our way of life? What if they seek to dominate all other supernatural forces, including us?" There is a moment of silence as they all contemplate this possibility.

There is murmuring among the leaders as they consider this possibility. Could the cultivators be the ones to fulfill their prophecy? Or could they be the ones who threaten their very existence? For now, the Witch Doctors remain neutral, but they keep a watchful eye on the cultivators' actions, ready to defend their way of life if necessary.
