Chapter 12: Be my Disciple (2)

As the chat group continued to buzz with excitement, I couldn't help but feel a sense of mischievous glee. Shuhang had accepted my offer to become my disciple, and now it was time for me to have a little fun.

"Are you currently alone?" I asked Shuhang, to which he replied. "Yes, I am"

"I just checked your coordinates, and I'll be opening a space gate to your location soon. Don't be surprised if I suddenly appear beside you!" The chat group was once again in shock at my abilities, wondering if I had already reached the level of a Tribulation Immortal.

As I prepare to make my grand entrance, I transform into my female form, ready to shock and surprise my new disciple-to-be. With a mischievous grin on my face, I undo my invisibility and appear before Shuhang.

You see, I saw this as the perfect opportunity to have some fun with my new disciple-to-be. I didn't want to reveal that I'm his good old friend just yet. After all, the expression of me transforming back into his good old friend after he recognized me as his master will be hilarious. I in no way are willing to miss such a good oportunity!

"Who are you?" he exclaims in surprise, clearly taken aback by my sudden appearance.

"Don't be alarmed, it's me, your future master!" I declared, striking a dramatic pose. "I have come to accept you as my disciple, and from this day forward, you will be under my guidance."

I take a step forward and beckon for Shuhang to kneel before me. "Kneel, my disciple, and swear your loyalty to me."

Shuhang, a little taken aback but willing to follow the customs of the cultivation world, kneels before me and bows his head. "I swear my loyalty to you, my master. From this day forward, I will devote myself to the path of cultivation and follow your guidance."

Feeling a surge of pride and satisfaction, I pull out my phone and snap a picture of my new disciple kneeling before me. Without a second thought, I send it to the Nine Provinces (1) Group, eager to show off my newest acquisition.

I smile, pleased with his response. "Good. Rise, my disciple. From this day forward, you are under my protection and guidance. I will teach you everything I know, and together, we will make great strides in the world of cultivation."

As soon as the picture was sent, the chat group exploded with excitement. "Congratulations, Zenith Heaven Emperor!" "Welcome, Shuhang, to the world of cultivation!"

The chat group was buzzing with anticipation, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction at the reaction to my acceptance of Shuhang as my disciple. But I have one more surprise in store for him.

Suddenly, I decide to transform back into my male form, and as I appear before him, I can see shock and confusion in his eyes. After all, he has just seen his beautiful master transform into one of his best friends.

Although he knew I was a member of the Nine Provinces (1) Group due to the Incident with Soft Feather, until now he thought that I am just another mortal that got accidentally added like him.

After all, in the last year we spent together, I never showed any supernatural abilities and appeared to be just another mortal. Furthermore, he didn't know my username in the group, which let him assume that I am another mortal that got accidentally added.

After all, he too got added by accident. After all, what happens once can happen twice!

Seeing the face he makes, I can not resist teasing him a little more. "Surprised, Shuhang?" I ask, with a sly grin on my face. "Don't worry, it's still me, your master." I said as I once again transformed back into my female form.

As I transform back and forth between my male and female forms, Shuhang's mind seems to be breaking down. I can see it in his eyes - the confusion, the shock, the utter disbelief. Seeing him, I know that his brain isn't the only thing that needs a reboot, due to it going haywire trying to process everything.

"Don't worry, Shuhang," I say, trying to reassure him. "It's understandable that you're confused. But don't worry, I'll help you adjust to this new reality. After all, you're my disciple now, and it's my duty to guide you on the path of cultivation."

Shuhang just looks at me, still dazed and confused. "I...I don't know what to say," he stammers.

"As your master, I will give you a choice, Shuhang," I say, with a flourish. "How would you like me to teach you, in this form?" As I speak, I transform into my male form once again.

"Or perhaps, in this form?" I transform back into my female form, giving him a sultry smile.

Shuhang looks utterly bewildered, his eyes darting back and forth between my two forms. I can see that his mind is still reeling from the shock of my sudden transformations.

"Um, Master," he stammers, "I don't think it matters what form you're in, as long as you can teach me."

I chuckle at his nervousness. "Very well, Shuhang, I'll let you off the hook this time."

After this little prank I thought that now that I accepted a disciple it is the perfect time to tease another person.

It's none other than the Nine Provinces (1) Group's most 'reliable' fortune-teller, Immortal Master Copper Trigram.

"Copper Trigram, how about you come over to congratulate your Martial Uncle for accepting a disciple?" I teased, a wicked grin on my face.

The Nine Provinces (1) Group was thrown into confusion by my words. They couldn't understand what Shuhang becoming my disciple had to do with me becoming Copper Trigram's Martial Uncle. So, I decided to explain the convoluted family tree that connected us all.

"You see, Copper Trigram is the disciple of Silver Trigram. And Silver Trigram is the disciple of Gold Trigram, who is none other than my mother's own disciple, someone I consider my senior brother." As I finished explaining, the entire group, including Copper Trigram fell, into stunned silence, trying to process this new information.

Following this, the entire group, including Copper Trigram kept silent. Copper Trigram then proceeded to ignore my message.

"Shuhang, come with me," I said, gesturing for him to follow me. As we walk, I can feel his excitement and anticipation growing.

"Where are we going, Zenith Heaven Emperor?" he asks, his eyes darting around as if trying to figure out our destination.

"I'm taking you to my pocket dimension," I said, grinning at his shocked expression. "It's a safe place where we can train without any interruptions or prying eyes."

I then opened a space portal to my private world.

Once we arrived, I took a deep breath and began to explain the ancient technique, the 'Thirty Three Beasts Inborn Qi Art', that my father had passed down to me before he died. As I spoke, I could see the intensity and focus in Shuhang's eyes, as he listened intently to every word.

After I finished my explanation of the technique, I recommend that he should practice the Giant Whale Chapter, remembering that he got it somehow in the original and that it suited him well. "Trust me, Shuhang," I say, "this chapter will be perfect for you."

At the same time I am wondering if in this world Shuhang also gets a Giant Whale Gold Core instead of the regular one and if he gets one if this Whale also gets some sort of pregnancy addiction.

Excitedly, he agrees to my proposal, and I give him the supplementary cultivation technique, the 'Whale Devouring Art', to aid him in his practice. I also give him a spirit beast crystal from a Giant Whale, which he will require later on due to this technique.

As we train together, I can see the progress he is making. Despite the awkwardness he feels calling me 'master', he still tries to do so. I can feel that this becomes more normal for him every time he does it.

As Shuhang and I continue our training, I feel it's important to establish some rules between us. "Shuhang, as your master, there are a few things you need to understand," I say, my voice taking on a serious tone.

"First and foremost, you cannot betray me. I will use a method from the Justicar path from my Way of Eternal Life, which makes it completely impossible for you to betray me. Once this rule is set, it cannot be violated, even if you were to become the Heavenly Way!" Well, it can only be violated if he becomes substantially stronger than me, but he doesn't need to know this.

I pause for a moment to let that sink in before continuing. "Secondly, this will not be a typical master-disciple relationship. I will not restrict your freedom in any way." I make a short pause before continuing, "However, this also means that you must survive on your own without depending on my help." I set this rule due to my knowledge of Shuhangs fate with death. If he has a death addiction, he can die by himself, but don't implicate me!

My gaze softens slightly as I look at my disciple. "Lastly, I will only teach you cultivation techniques. What you choose to do with them is entirely up to you. I will not interfere with your personal choices or goals."
