2 Chapter 1: Revenge

" I'm sorry Vishnu your parents died during yesterday's sneak attack ."

A 16 year old boy heard this first thing in the morning when he went to the camp that nurtures teenagers like him.

" I... um " he didn't know how to reply to this. It has been just 3 days since he saw his parents laughing and eating alongside him and his sister, As they're the most powerful in the whole kingdom he couldn't believe that they died just like that.

His family wasn't big, Just his parents, elder sister, and him. As he belonged to a military family they had the mindset to rather die on the battlefield than on their deathbed. His grandparents and all his uncles and aunts died that way and they didn't seek political power so they didn't expand just sought a different kind of power.

' But a sneak attack? hah' the boy let out a sigh he didn't cry as he knew their lives could vanish at any moment so he had prepared himself for years and from last year when his father started teaching him how to cultivate he has said many times ' life itself is insignificant, how you live your life that's what matters ' so he knew that his parents lived their lives to fullest.

They were at the peak of what a human could achieve so they shouldn't have many regrets but it's the people who are left behind who regret the most 'should I have treated them better, shouldn't have argued with them so much '

All kinds of thoughts flashed in his mind then he thought about his elder sister, she wasn't a fighter, she couldn't even cultivate so she didn't know much about these things. His parents doted on their daughter a little too much that even he sometimes wondered if he was adopted but he also loved his sister that much.

She works as a physician who helps the poor who couldn't afford treatment.

He saw his sister working in the kitchen cooking as he returned home.

"Sis come here"

Padma looked at her younger brother she could see he was sad, she didn't know the reason why but it didn't take long before she realized why.

As he narrated what happened Padma burst out crying. He hugged her, even though he is the little brother he knew how to hide his pain. As he consoled her, he resolved that he would destroy that kingdom. If he couldn't, at least he'd assassinate that king.

His father has taught him how to reach the level of peak and even has a theory about how one could go beyond that, he'd reach that level to get revenge and to protect his sister as she is the most important person in his life.

5 years passed

Vishnu now 21 y/o is captain of a 100-man unit.

He has already reached the stage where his parents were and even gone beyond that. As his father has theorized there is indeed a level beyond but as he has to make the path himself doing trial and error it took too much time.

No one knows his current power as they'd become too shocked to believe it. he is talented, much more talented than others, what his parents achieved at age 50 he has at the age of 17. Yes after he got serious about cultivation it took one year to completely refine his body and reach the next level.

To refine one's body it starts with Skin then muscle then bones, organs, meridians at last full body.

It is known as the Body Refinement stage.

After thousands of years of experiments, this sequence has been accepted as the most perfect one as, if one didn't refine one's body in this sequence it could lead to serious injuries or even cripple someone.

After this comes the energy gathering stage. In this stage, one absorbs energy from energy stones. one would then store this energy inside the body and use it when attacking or doing other tasks. There is a limit to how much one's body could absorb energy so that limit is known as the human peak. Vishnu's father theorized that this energy stored within our dantian is in the gaseous state so if one could liquefy it, they'd become even more powerful.

At the age of 21 Vishnu finally achieved this.

He has become the strongest in the whole world. 'Now it is time for revenge huh', he has been waiting for this moment for 5 years. As no one knows how powerful he is, he isn't all that famous so he could sneak into the enemy territory rather easily.

"Take care of yourself, okay?"

"Hah! I should be the one saying that brat"

"Come on, get married already you're gonna become an old hag at this rate"

"Bah!"

Padma saw Vishnu off. This is the first time he is leaving her and going on a lone journey, even though after joining the army he sometimes has to go to the battlefields but that was with other soldiers.

Vishnu has made an excuse that he wants to go sightseeing alone and travel to some regions. As a healthy young man, it was normal to be curious about the world so Padma didn't say much but was still worried as there are bandits along the way ' if they beat up and looted my cute younger brother that'd be awful'. But oh she was wrong it became a nightmare for all bandits who came across Vishnu as he'd beat them to a pulp then hang them upside down on trees nak*d. Because of these bandits, the journey wasn't boring.

It was extremely easy for him to kill the king. He just used Swift steps a technique from the vault in his family to assassinate the king swiftly in his sleep. he didn't like to torture, why? Man's gonna die anyway just cutting off his pen*s was enough of torture. 'Am I twisted?, Nah you gotta do at least that much to your parent's murderer right?'

Anyway, it took a little more than two weeks to do all this so now he'd return home.

'Ah! I miss food made by sis, What should I ask her to make when I return hmm?'. He didn't waste time with bandits this time so it took even less time.

"Hey, sis look who's back let's have a celebration ok. You wouldn't believe what I did during my trip, come downstairs let me tell you stories"

As Vishnu entered the home he shouted, he didn't need to keep his voice in check as it was only him and his sis who lives there.

Hearing no response, he went upstairs and knocked on Padma's door.

"Hey sis come out, I've got stories to tell"

After not hearing any response he thought if she was outside for work.

As he entered the room the first thing he saw was a pair of legs.

he stood there stilled, not knowing how to react. when he finally processed what has happened he ran and held those legs up.

"Hey, Hey sis, come on no joking about these things. come on say something, anything please, please..... pleee"

He choked up at the end. He then looked up and could see his sister's beautiful face but there are some scars on that face now.

he gently placed her on the bed, and sat next to her caressing her hair, time passed and the day became night. He looked around there are no signs of any kind of struggle. 'something must've happened' Vishnu was sure otherwise there is no reason for his sis to commit suicide.

He looked everywhere in the room searching for something, then he found a letter under the pillow.

'I'm sorry' As he read that he instantly teared up. Just from that one sentence, he could see that his sis felt guilty about what she did. So then what must've happened that she couldn't bear to live anymore.

'I'm sorry Vishnu as I am leaving you and going to father and mother first. I know you must've killed that king already if you're reading this. How do I know? hehe, brat I'm your older sis for a reason from that moment five years ago I could see that all you could think about is revenge so you trained too hard. Even though I don't know much about cultivation I could still see that you've become stronger. You've been holding yourself back for me otherwise you would've gone to kill that bastard years ago. I know that that is why I'm feeling guilty about leaving you early. It's just that I no longer have any desire to live. sure I could live for you but I'd just hold you back. The reason for all this? The 4th prince of our kingdom, That bastard saw me somewhere then instantly fell for me. he proposed to me but I turned him down, this happened after you left.

As he couldn't take the refusal he had his goons kidnap me then r**ed me for 3 days then threw me outside our home. At first, I thought I could bear the pain and live with it, but every night I went to sleep I would get nightmares and I couldn't even do anything about it. So finally I've decided to do this. I love you so please live your life to the fullest, don't come to me soon. I have father and mother to accompany me and about that prince bastard, do what you need to do.

Vishnu could see teardrops all over the letter. No matter how cheerful Padma tried to sound, this is proof that how much pain she must've gone through.

Vishnu carefully folded the letter and put it inside his pocket. he packed all the things he would need inside a simple cloth bag. He doesn't have any special weapon he uses as he is well versed in the sword, spear, daggers, and hand-to-hand combat. He just kept a sword and a dagger with him.

He left home in the middle of the night after burying his sister in the backyard. With rage boiling within he went to the royal castle where the king and his family lives. He silently kidnapped a guard to ask him questions about where that bastard lives then knocked him out.

As he sneaked into his palace he could see the security was tight but no matter how secured it was they couldn't notice anything before Vishnu knocked them out.

Then he entered the master bedroom, he could hear moans from outside as he kicked the door open. Inside there were 2 nak*d women, 1 riding on top of that bastard as the other was sucking on the bre*sts of the first woman.

When they saw someone barged into the prince's chamber they were shocked but before they could shout for help Vishnu knocked them out too.

"Hey, who the f*ck are you? How dare you barge in here" He still hasn't processed the situation otherwise he'd know that there is something very wrong with this situation.

Where are all his guards? Why haven't they come here yet?

"hahaha hahahahaha " Vishu couldn't help but laugh out loud. This bastard whom he could kill as he would a fly dared to lay his hands on her sis.

'I guess it is my fault for laying too low, If I have shown my true power these guys would've never even dared to look at my sister.'

Alas, there is no cure for regrets, All he could do was get revenge.

"Shhhh, Don't bark too much now we have got the whole night to enjoy"

A punch to the gut and that bastard who knows what his name is felt like life leaving his body, but it'd have been fortunate for him if he had died then and there.

Vishnu bound him on a chair, took out his dagger, and started skinning him. As he peeled off layer after layer of his skin the bastard kept going in and out of consciousness. Vishnu then skrewed 3 needles in his d*ck and lit his balls on fire.

The torture continued for more than 3 hours then Vishnu simply burned him alive.

At this moment this whole place has been surrounded by guards but no one dared to enter all who has entered did not return.

After killing that prince Vishnu finally stepped out of the palace, he could see that at least 1000 people are surrounding and they Were not normal humans every single one is a cultivator.

At the front of this group were 3 people. one is the king of this kingdom, the other two are the captain of the royal guards. But in front of Vishnu, they are like children. If it was one-on-one even three-on-one Vishnu could take them down but with more than a thousand cultivators it'd be a dangerous situation.

The king eyed Vishnu with burning rage in his eyes. But he didn't charge forward like a madman cause he could feel the immense power that young man emitting was more than what he had ever seen.

He is shocked as to how did this boy become so powerful.

Vishnu just blankly stared at the sky. Even after getting revenge, his feelings didn't calm down. he felt lost, what is the purpose of getting so powerful if he can't even protect his loved ones.

Seeing him like this the people there didn't know what to say.

Minos, king of the Amorite Kingdom asked his people what happened and then got to know that his 4th son has r*ped Padma. It was okay if he r*ped some nobody but looking at Vishnu who is probably the most powerful man on earth and he r*ped his only sister, how could Minos keep his calm. Sure they can kill Vishnu but at what cost.

"Vishnu I just got to know what happened you've got your revenge just leave my kingdom peacefully now."

"hahaha hahahahaha, You motherf*cker had you educated your child properly he wouldn't have become a fucking r*pist, so the burden lies with you too. I'm gonna kill you then I'm just gonna destroy this whole f*cking kingdom which gave me nothing but pain, first my parents and now my sister, just die all of you" having completely lost it Vishnu couldn't control his emotions so he just let his anger take control.

He unsheathed his sword and without warning shot toward the three. Even after losing to his anger he still knew that he had to take out the leaders first. As he charged, Soldiers also readied themselves. Arrows shot past his body barely touching him as he sliced the head of Minos. He was so fast that they couldn't save him. then the massacre began.

…

As the sun rose from the horizon one could see the bloody royal palace. almost a thousand decapitated bodies lay there on the ground. amongst them stood Vishnu, his face all bloody, body full of arrows, sword, and spear marks visible. No matter how powerful he was he has never undergone such a battle. Having no experience he exhausted himself quickly.

He could hear footsteps. he knew that more soldiers are coming and he isn't in the condition to battle once more.

'sorry sis, looks like I'm coming to you earlier than you've expected'

He didn't mind dying, there is no place he could call home anymore and at least he would be reunited with his family.

As he was thinking about all kinds of things, the space in front of him suddenly shuddered, then like broken glass cracks appeared in that space, a circular hole appeared.

Dumbfounded Vishnu stared at this phenomenon. He couldn't understand what is happening. The power he felt when the space cracks appeared made him feel like an insect in front of a giant.

He could feel tremendous energy coming out of that hole. The energy felt similar to that energy stored within his body but also different.

Not knowing what to do he pressed his hands inside the hole then a great suction force appeared, as he didn't have much power inside his body he couldn't resist that power and got sucked whole. Even if he was at his full power and even beyond that he couldn't have resisted that power.

After Vishnu got sucked into the hole, it also disappeared like it was never there. The place return to utter silence as all one could see were dead bodies.
