3 My Knowledge is Mine But Your Knowledge is Also Mine

2 days later.....

Shen Wang had fully reviewed the memories of the previous Shen Wang, his short term goal of studying the cultivation techniques he already practiced had already been completed, however as he searched his memories he also learned the details about the disadvantages of cultivating late, yet he was still quite happy that he still had about one and a half year before his 20th birthday arrived. He still had about a few months less than 2 years to build a firm foundation as a cultivator before his body, spirit and mind matured ..... no rather before his body and spirit matured, since his mind had already been tempered for a Billion years by that Dog System !!!

After all the importance of one's teenage years in cultivation cannot be overstated! It's during these years that the foundation of a cultivation is laid. Like the tender sprout that grows into a mighty tree, the body and spirit are at their most malleable during this time.

Shen Wang, being almost past his teenage years, was like a withered vine struggling to cling to life. While others were sowing the seeds of their potential, he was wasting this precious time living as a mortal, however that was not his fault either since he had no idea that he had spiritual roots.

Due to this his meridians might not absorb spiritual energy as readily as a youngling's, and his progress will be sluggish like a snail trudging through mud.

Furthermore the current him was extremely alien to Qi of Heaven and Earth, he had only observed the previous owner of the body so it and not felt it for himself, In a was another disadvantage he had was that he was not originally born in this world. It would take a while before he could adapt to the Qi of Heaven and Earth thus his time was low yet his tasks were abundant ...

Nevertheless coming back to his cultivation techniques, Shen Wang cultivated a cultivation art called the[ Thunderleaf Inner Resonance Scripture]

[Thunderleaf Inner Resonance Scripture] was an art that seeks harmony between the volatile might of thunder and the tranquil essence of wood. It demanded a delicate balance between control and release.

In the early stages, it focused on attuning your meridians to the rhythms of thunderstorms and the steady growth of trees. Feeling the electric charge coursing through your channels, like the fierce currents of a river. Simultaneously, draw upon the serenity of the forest, sensing the roots' silent strength and the leaves' gentle rustling. Basically one had to create a balance between the raging and wild nature of thunder while maintaining the serene, calm and peaceful nature of a forest.

According to his memories this Scripture was given to him as it had rather simple concepts behind it, the idea was that he could understand it as soon as possible and start to cultivate it. If he was given the more complex cultivation arts he would have to contribute a substantial amount of time to study and understand it thus consuming more of his precious time. The situation right now was rather simple, cultivate and form a firm and stable foundation and become an Inner Sect Disciple or rot as an Outer Sect Disciple.

Furthermore, the [ Thunderleaf Inner Resonance Scripture] had relative cultivation chapter corresponding to each major realm, The first stage of the Scripture was the [Chapter 1: Sprout of Resonance].

The Sprout of Resonance, though humble, marked the initial connection between the spiritual roots and the thunder-wood energies. It was like planting a sapling in a stormy soil – the sapling being your budding potential, and the storm being the raw energies coursing within you.

When you finally cultivate this stage, your meridians will tremble as they encounter the first whispers of thunder's might and the gentle embrace of wood's vitality. It was as if awakening a dormant power within you, like a seedling breaking through the earth's surface to seek sunlight.

To cultivate the Sprout of Resonance, one must immerse oneself in the art's essence. Meditating under the open sky during a thunderstorm. Feeling the electric charge in the air, letting the rumble of thunder echo within your bones, and visualize yourself as a tree rooted deep within the earth was the most efficient condition to cultivate it in, however since the seasons were different Shen had to naturally make a few compromises.

The reason the previous 'Shen Wang' went into seluction was that he had gained a few inspirations and was feeling like he would be able to fully understand every aspect of [Sprout of Resonance], and he actually had..... however a certain Shen Wang had shamelessly raided and eaten his soul before he could properly rejoice about his gains.... what a pitiful lad.

Ahem*

Anyways the 2 days that Shen Wang had spent did not go in vain, with his strong mind he fully grasped the first chapter of

[Thunderleaf Inner Resonance Scripture], which was [Sprout of Resonance] the only 'minor' task now left was to constantly probe Qi to get a hang of manipulating Qi and actually start to cultivate the Sprout of Resonance... Yeah... although he already understood what was to be done he hadn't actually done it himself, this situation was like watching porn everyday for years and understanding everything what one had to do but still hadn't utilized one's little brother properly. Basically 100/100 in theory yet 0/100 in experience...

It was simply to frustrating!

Shen Wang was now fully determined to know how it would feel like to manipulate Qi, he couldn't help but have a huge grin on his face.

Thus sparing no time he immediately closed his eyes and started to mediate to achieve his goal... of manipulating Qi!

' Manipulating Qi, the very foundation of cultivation, is like trying to convince a stubborn donkey to move forward. It's an art that requires finesse, discipline, and the control of one's inner energies. I the Great Shen Wang shall break it down into simple steps for your benefit, though I highly doubt your ability to comprehend them fully. '

Shen Wang started speaking to himself, as if he was giving himself a lecture about Qi Manipulation.... although the content was somewhat 'borrowed'

' The first step is Stir the Qi, this is done when you visualize the Qi within you, like a calm pond of water. Use your will to stir it, creating ripples that spread through your body. Imagine the energy flowing smoothly through your meridians.

The second step is to direct the flow, Like a river's current, guide the Qi's movement through your meridians. Start with simple movements – sending it from your chest to your fingertips, for example. This is the foundation of controlling the energies.

The third step is Concentration, As you practice, refine your control. Imagine the Qi flowing precisely where you wish it to go. It's like guiding a breeze with the wave of your hand.

The fourth step is Visualization, To manipulate Qi effectively, one must visualize their intention clearly. If you're focusing on a particular body part, imagine the Qi accumulating there, nourishing and invigorating it.

The fifth step is Exaltation, with each exhale, imagine releasing excess or impure Qi from your body. This is akin to purging the old and welcoming the new.

The sixth step and the most important is Harmony, cultivate a sense of harmony between your body, mind, and Qi. Your inner energies should flow like a tranquil river, unobstructed and serene.

The task of Cultivation Arts or Scriptures is to suit different types of Qi attributes in each step, for example I have to Stir the wild nature of thunder and the calmness of wood, then directing my thunder to be as domineering and my wood to be as serene and calm as possible, then concentrate on being both domineering and calm at the same time, then I have to visualize as much thunder as I can while also visualize serene wood being .... kuku this is the part I love the most as I can imagine thunder and wood with every part of my mind due to the [Dao Transcending Consciousness Tempering Arts] though I must not let it get fried up by processing too much, moving on I must suppress and exhale all other attributes of Qi only letting thunder which is a mixture of Extreme Yang and fire and wood and finally according to the Scripture I must maintain a harmony between my mind, qi and body.... This is quite hard as my mind far exceeds my qi and body, it's like comparing infinity with 1, thus I have to be extra careful as to not disturb the balance'

After repeating this theory for a couple of times Shen Wang actually felt like he had become rather experienced, and now was finally the time.... the time he had been waiting for ever since he read his first fantasy novel! TO CULTIVATE!

Just like the theory he started to follow each step word by word, he stirred up his qi, started to visualize, started to feel the Qi around him and felt it as Qi from his surroundings started to enter his body....

Ah how peaceful.....

how intoxicating.....

such warmth....

Yes.... I can finally become an immortal now..... I am finally the fucking mc.....

ah I can feel something approaching..... hm? why does this fellow wear such a dark cloak well whatever..... oh? his scythe looks quite exotic ..... hmm? doesn't the like a bit like ..... like.... A GRIM REAPER!!!!

PUFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF COUGH COUGH PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

Shen Wang spewed at least a liter of blood before a sharp pain grasped his internal organs, although this pain was nothing to his mind his body did not think so.... thus although he could keep his mind calm his mouth instinctively screamed!

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH....."

Shen's screams erupted echoing through the closed cave he was in, but those screams were buried inside the cave and not a single word scream escaped the cave. Shen's mind deduced that in a way it was the system of the sect to 'filter' out the useless Outer Sect Disciples.

Thus here he was observing his screaming body with a calm mind.... thus showed just how out of sync the two were.

After a few hours Shen's body fainted and although Shen's mind was still active thus it was a rather peculiar situation, was he asleep or alive?

Although the body's senses were gone through his mind Shen could still 'feel' the Qi around him..... was this Qi deviation? That would be the most probable explanation.

Fuck!

It just had to go wrong the moment he started cultivation, nevertheless what had happened had happened right now Shen could feel that his connection to his body was worsening, well rather the body's connection was weakening very slowly. This most probably meant that he was slowing dying due to the disharmony of different energies.

Shen could only come up with a single solution considering the given scenario, he could try to manipulate the Qi around him and try and expel any qi of other attributes and use the wood attribute to nourish his vitality and finally use his mind strength to forcefully make the body and qi enter harmony.... well rather force the qi and body to work together with his mind and not let either function without the mind.... it was like a muscular adult drop kicking babies until they stopped crying it was hard as it would only cry more but if you kick a baby enough it would indeed stop crying.

Thus he had already found a 'theoretical' solution to deal with the current problem.

Shen pretended to take a deep breath inside his mind and started to rely on only the ability to sense and manipulate qi to probe the details before thoughtfully expelling foreign unwanted qi from his body hoping that nothing went wrong....

I mean what was the possibility that his perfect theory would go wrong twice. His luck could not be 'THAT' bad right?

R- right?
