Shen Wang was a 17 year old high schooler, average in everything but enthusiastic in reading fantasy novels, so much so that even before his exams he would be reading novels under the disguise of sleeping.
After begging his parents to buy him Minecraft for an entire year he was finally able to play the game on his pc,
Today, Shen had a rather brilliant idea of downloading a cultivation mod into his pc so that he could both play Minecraft and cultivate at the same time!

Shen Wang looked at his keyboard to see what was wrong with it, surprisingly his keyboard was automatically pressing the keys on it's own...

His mind felt like it was being split every nanosecond as shards of the dark abyss broke and fused into him,
Yet somehow under all this pressure, he did not die. It was not because of his own willpower or anything like that, it was as if under a supreme presence all the 4 processes happening to him had reached a fine equilibrium and the same presence was barely protecting him from loosing himself completely

Time became an illusion and Shen also slowly started to adapt to the pain, however as he adapted he also felt that the protection from the System slowly started to disappear, thus it seemed as if he had not adapted at all.
To understand it better, we were to quantize the situation, if Shen adapted +1 then the System lessened it's protection and thus increased the difficulty as +1 thus making it seem like nothing changed.
But nonetheless everything inevitably happened to him, his soul was forged, he gained understanding of the Dao Transcending Consciousness Tempering Art, his consciousness cultivated what he understood and he started become the Host of the System as more and more parts of the abyss came to fuse with him.
10 million years passed and one of the processes finally stopped,
