Chapter 6: First Experience!

Like the three, Fang Yuan was also surprised but filled with excitement. It was his first time experiencing the storage feature of the broken Pagoda, and the effortless transfer astonished him.

What further astonished him were the details after storing the tree. Keeping the three people in mind, Fang Yuan didn't act surprised and returned to normal, deciding to check the details afterward.

Being surprised by new things was different from getting shocked by new things.

"Sir, do you want us to cut more trees," The woman asked. The respect the three of them had for Fang Yuan had grown after the event.

Space storage items were immensely rare, with their numbers not even touching the three-digit mark in the entire world. Even in Crimson Wood City, only the city lord had an item like that.

"No, one is enough," Fang Yuan answered. If it was up to him, he wanted all the trees in the jungle, but he knew to control himself and didn't ask for more. He knew that he would be able to appear again in the city, so it was better to take things slow.

"Why do I pay you money if you can't even find the identity of a man for me," Chen Xiaodi yelled in anger.

Chen Xiaodi was a man in his middle ages, and he was one of the five carriers of the Blue Wood identity, being the head of the Chen Family, one of the five noble families.

Since Fang Yuan was an outsider and had a Blue Wood identity, it shocked all five noble families since only the head of the family had that level of status.

All five families had sent their informants to find out the identity of the newcomer. The Chen Family had been the strongest of the five since the earliest time in the city.

Chen Xiaodi was an extremely talented figure in the family, but similarly, he had anger issues. He easily became angry.

"Master, the boy seemed to have appeared out of thin air…"

The man explained, wiping the sweat that had covered his forehead. According to the man, the newcomer hadn't been seen in any nearby city before appearing in Crimson Wood City.

Chen Xiaodi frowned and was going to explode once again when he suddenly heard something in his head.

"Leave and keep trying to find out the identity."

Since a Blue Wood identity could cause a drastic situation in the city, the five family heads decided to convene a meeting. The city lord wasn't present in the city at that moment, so the five decided to discuss preparations in case the stranger had dangerous motives.

Unaware of the storm his entry had caused in the five families, Fang Yuan traveled to the second scenery in the city. There were numerous stalls, with people selling different things.

Fang Yuan couldn't help but be disappointed when he saw that the things were ordinary and had no spiritual property. Since the idea of selling the tree emerged in his head, Fang Yuan started looking at things in the city differently.

The second famous landmark of the city was the Garden of Hibiscus. As its name suggested, there were different species of hibiscus flowers in the garden.

Unlike the Crimson Wood Tree, it was illegal to take out any flower. Fang Yuan couldn't benefit from the garden and the numerous flowers he had read about in his world, but that didn't stop him from enjoying the scenery.

There were beautiful landmarks in Yellow Peach City, but his family worked seven days a week to maintain their family and save for Fang Yuan's Sect admission, so the family never went to those places.

Fang Yuan couldn't help but become emotional since his two siblings weren't with him to enjoy the scenery.

In the picturesque garden, Fang Yuan's gaze landed on the mesmerizing array of flowers. The delicate petals seemed to dance in the gentle breeze, each hue more vibrant than the last. As Fang Yuan stood there, lost in admiration, the trio whispered among themselves.

They misunderstood his expression as sheer awe for the exquisite flowers. The garden wasn't very big, so the tour was over in less than an hour. Fang Yuan still was emotional and had an empty feeling in his heart.

"Sir, if you want, we can help you get some flowers for your residence," The only man in the group suddenly walked to Fang Yuan and whispered in his ears.

The trio seemed to have struggled for a while before suggesting anything like that to Fang Yuan, but having a sense of hope for their future, they concluded. They didn't dare speak loudly since if anyone heard them, they would be facing a terrible fate.

The garden was personally planted by the city lord's grandfather, and the city lord had been a regular visitor to the garden.

Fang Yuan didn't immediately answer, and after a few seconds, he shook his head. He could see the sense of caution in the eyes of the three of them, and he didn't want to become the source of their danger.
