while there has not been many chapters released yet, I love the direction of the story and the characters to far. its a rather unique story idea, one I've always enjoyed reading. can't wait for more

I personally didn't really like how slow and dragging it felt to read this story. The MC is said to be one from Earth, a normal human who transmigrated into the body of a cultivation, and then he just went ahead and decided that just cultivating for a couple years is a 'good thing to do'. To someone from the modern world, isn't that freakin' boring? Anyway, the story's premise seemed good at first but even after hundreds of chapters, the characters remained flat, mainly due to the excessive amounts of exposition.
Honestly? Compared to nearly all other system cultivation stories on this side, this is gold. No endless tournaments, no endless face slapping with povs who just go "Haha, look at this fool daring to inconvenience young master XYZ ..." and then later "OMG he is so strong, how can that beeee??!!" additionally, there are overarching plots... the mc is not just constantly ascending / going to a "stronger" place because NEED BE MOAR STRONK. (it is still happening but in a more believable way and he still has his sect he has to return to) Additionally, the MC is not a complete egomaniac and there is no Harem (thank God!). A bit of a detriment would be the timescale... The story takes place in a immortal cultivation universe... So it would be nice to see some longer time skips (with slice of life) before the next big event happens (I always stumble over the premiss of cultivators living thousands of years in a enormous world, and therefore thinking on a completely different scale, but events like the seemingly awakening of the true demon are seemingly felt instantly) @Autor. I would love to see the disciples to be an essential part of the sect in the future, because honestly, the sect is basically raising them while the mc is more like the rich uncle who lives in the same city and is there if needed but is not involved in every life at all.
I'm really disappointed with this novel, my expectations is so high I'm angry with myself wasting my time and getting excited for nothing. I genuinely love the first 50 chapters I thought based on the title and synopsis regarding accepting disciples and making them strong. But until the latest chapters it's about this kingdom war. I know this is world plot but where is the teaching? its just like a passing in some chapters he just gave some mantra and be done with it.The conversation between the master and disciples feels like robot there's no emotion! Im just ranting because I waste my precious time to be this severely disappointed. Just ignore this angry reader. 🥲
im currently at chapter 867. This novel has potential and the mc is not some novel that just one hit all enemies and can fight a whole realm easily but not this mc of this novel because he can onky fighter 3 minor realm at the best but if the another stage when he is domain lord expert fighting a new soul ascension at the best he can only fight barely and not kill the soul ascension sorry spoiled but yeah... even though hr got ??? physique 25 percent unlocked it was powerful physique that he unlocked he got more powerfull body and special ability he cannot even use at full potential (space dao ability) that only latter stage of soul aacenion can use. And i think this story need some timeskip because the mc meet all expert i mean not all is it coincide that the mc meet domain when the novel said the domain expert is imposiblle to find even he is in core region it was so coincide i think it nded some time skip like 5 years later or month later when he is traveling and only meet a domain lord ya know... Spoiler: after he breakthrough to latter stage of domain lord expert instead zoul ascension he bresktrhough to Dao Domain Lord Expert and it said low stage, mid stage, high stage, peak stage. even he is low stage he can fight mid of soul ascension expert and it said they can breakthrough mid stage to another level idk what is it...
It's an alright story. It adds nothing to the table, but it's also not bad. The story is quite boring at times due to how slow it is, but it does make sense since it's a slice of life. There's a lot of filler or useless stuff that happens. 100 chapters could become 40–50 chapters if removing the fillers and bad povs. Also, character interaction are quite awkward since it feels like robots talking to each other. The way the disciples talk to the mc(their master) doesn't feel like they are talking to their master. It's doesn't have the respect, admiration, and reverence one should have for their master. Characters are also very 2-dimensional. Despite me nick picking the novel, there are some good stuff about the novel. The system isn't too op and isn't too useless. The mc still cultivates, even seeing how the system can just give him cultivation realms for teaching his disciples. The mc isn't dumb and thinks rationally. There's no face slapping and "how dare you" or "trash" dialogues repeated every interaction. There's also no audience from the sidelines, always awing over or booing over the mc. All in all, the novel seems to dodge the bad parts of Chinese tropes pretty well which is already excellent, but I wish there was something more interesting or a twist added.
There's a lot of great stuff to be said about this novel in that it both rejects and embraces the cliches. For instance, the MC has a system but still actually cultivates as opposed to just relying on it, there are more system mechanics being developed, some of which are hilarious. Overall, it does a great job of building a xianxia world that is both new and familiar. I look forward to more!
Writing quality is probably better than 97% of the other stories on this site. Near perfect grammar, and paragraphs that flow well into each other make for a nice, light reading experience. The story has fairly consistent updates. The story progresses slowly, but surely. This story has action, but not much, as it isn't the focal point of the story. The story hasn't strayed from the point of the story, which is "system that's used to cultivate disciples." The best way to write a story like this is to take the main content of the story, and amplify that as much as possible. Is your story about cultivating disciples? focus on the disciples cultivating. (as of chapter 57) The MC uses actual logic, him not being an original inhabitant of the wuxia world he resides in. The MC often questions why people in this world think the way that they do (which seems to be an entertaining way to poke fun at other wuxia stories.) The MC uses his system as intended, but doesn't completely give up on doing his own thing just because he has a system. The characters besides the MC don't have too much depth to them yet, but they have enough individuality to keep you interested. The MC's first disciple (as of chapter 57) is learning and growing as a person and learning not to be overconfident. There isn't too much world background yet (because it's only chapter 57 of a slow-burn story,) but what we have is pretty decent. We're slowly being shown different sects, and getting bits and pieces of things happening around the MC's sect. Overall, it's a nice, slow read that you can read when you're in a bad mood and need to relax, if you're sick of typical, blockheaded wuxia MCs, and if you're getting tired of the average story on this site having borderline unreadable grammar.
This is a very promising book. I like the concept and story both, but while reading i felt like the story drags on for too long with little plot development with unnecessary details. I dont why exactly i felt that. With total 53 chapters i think there could've more story development thn the current one. I don't know if its a slow paced novel or something but with 53 chapters in but this little plot progress i felt something lacking. Well hope Author will update more chapters later.
Nice work author 👍 But I think in act take/chosen disciple Is more logic in Spirit blade mountain Why Because they have around 7-8 strong elder to oversee but only let around 100 kid to take exam to become disciple in spirit blade mountain Here around 5 strong elder plus outer/inner elder to oversee around 10000 kid If around 1000 kid is more logic And only 100 kid can be disciple This my own personal opinion
