Wasn't this a serious fight?

[Unedited]

Guess, where are we right now?

Welp, we are back in Entropy. Let me brief you on the events that just happened while we were busy with the elementals, Orc and Dawand's part of the story. Must be confusing having a terrible writer jumping all over Alcanti, tsk, tsk, who writes this sh*t?

(Author notes: haha... excellent narration, I will murder you one day, talking behind my back huh. You are lucky I still need a narrator.)

Strange, I felt a bad premonition for a moment, must be my imagination. Alright, where were we? That's right we were talking about the events in Entropy. So here's what happened. The beautiful princess of Dusk, Allysium dug deep into her father's past. She saw the deeds he had done and became traumatised for quite some time. Britinia had to take over her job for the time being.

A second rebellion happened in the capital of Dusk, but then again, it wasn't successful. Doubts and confusion developed in the hearts of the citizens. Just a few days after his coronation and a second rebellion had already occurred.

Slaine was still in Latium. He was busy cleaning up his own faction. Especially, those who wanted compensation for their losses. His future was still undecided. How could he take so many risks in keeping this many time bombs?

Not much happened during our absence in the Kingdom of Dusk.

And Malcium got into a teeny bit of trouble with the fragment of an old god. Who's Malcium? It's that pope who argued with the god of Justice.

Oh a tiny notes says here, there is a going to be a time skip soon. Oh I am not supposed to read that out. Silly me, let's hope that the person who wrote that won't be mad. (Alright hes definitely dying.)

Earth-shattering shockwaves spread across the pitch black land. Tsunami size waves sloppily move aimlessly into the never-ending horizon, the waves have melt fully. It was Dan and the old god again. Their fight was not over yet, despite the vast difference in their power levels.

It looks like the old god is frustrated, while Dan is amused. Even in a disadvantaged situation, Dan still has the guts to make jokes and laugh. Yes, he laughed at a f*cking million years old fossil.

Of course, the old god feels irritated. Being mocked by an insect isn't a particularly pleasant feeling.

"Oh now-now, don't stare at me with such an intense glare. I am not into guys though the face you have on right now is very attractive. I give it ten out of ten." And the face which the old god is using is Dan's face.

"But there's erm a bit too many eyes, so I will have to minus point for that. Eight out of ten is still a pretty good score you know?"

Now, instead of facing the old god's attack head-on, Dan chooses to deflect them. The amount of energy it takes to deflect an attack is much lower than confronting them head-on.

If he can't win head-on, then other methods must be used. After all, one cannot brute force all the way through life.

"You got balls, don't you?" It hastily commented.

Looking at the old god who just turned scarier, Dan looked to his right in a shocked expression.

"Strange I don't recall having a sun in here." He pointed exaggeratedly in the direction of the sun.

"A sun?" How can there be a sun in here? It turned and looked. Huh? It's empty?

The next thing it saw was a gigantic pink hammer.

BANG

The old god flew off into the distance.

Wow, it flew off pretty far. Erm, he looks pretty mad. Did I overdo it? Aha, I guess I really did it this time.

The old god had never felt such humiliation in its life. What kind of sane being would point in a direction and then punch it in the face after it looks away? Who the hell would dare do that to an old god?

It dashed towards Dan, but surprisingly its moves were deflected. Each and every movement was hard countered.

What's going on? He is predicting my movements? This doesn't make any sense. It had read Dan's memories thoroughly. Dan definitely cannot predict the old god's action even with his abnormal mind.

How is he doing it? The pupils in its eyes narrowed slightly. Vibrations? Is this it? It focused on listening for any noises. Soft beats entered its ears. Music? It was not the unfamiliar beat that shocks it, but how the beats were currently affecting its actions. Though the beats are quite nice.

My actions were following the same rhythm of the beats making it easily predictable. Unconsciously I have fallen into his trap? It looked at Dan in horror. I didn't notice.

I didn't notice, because I was distracted by my anger. So he's still trying to buy time, but what for?

No. I am wrong again. This isn't the expression of a man trying to survive. The old god hurriedly read the memories. This bastard, apparently some of it was stored in his subconsciousness. Now, more time is needed to uncover them. On the bright side, Dan did not spend much effort to protect his memories.

Dan did not expect to fight against someone who is capable of infiltrating his body.

It blinked and forcefully stop itself following the rhythm of the beats. The next move caught Dan by surprised, but he managed to adapt to the sudden attack.

"As expected of an old god. I have to say this is disappointing. A being who has lived for millions of years falling for such minor tricks?"

"If it's your intention to make me fail due to your trash talking, you can give up now. Do not bother trying to use my emotions against me. We the old gods will never lose when it comes to that."

"Oh really?"

"Impudent."

"Let us try then." Dan laugh and his third eye shut. [Mist]

Like the name of the spell suggests, water mist covered the area. Since it was all dark, the already bad visibility of the environment became worse.

"If you think you can hide from me. You can think again." We old gods have special sensory organs which allow us to sense fear. You must be feeling fear right now.

Behind me? Good try. It turned and launched a tentacle strike. While it is currently in a humanoid form due to Dan's influence. It could still use its tentacles at will. The air blast from the strike caused the mist to move out of the path of the attack. I missed? What's going on?

There! Another strike was launched. This time quicker and faster than before. How? This makes no sense, a look of realisation struck it. I know how... this is his mind. Even if have disabled most of his advantages. He could still at least control where and when the emotions appear in here.

Since that is the case, I should just strike every single location. Never ever underestimate an old god. Tens of thousands tentacles appeared and struck all around it.

"An opening!" [Hammer of Order]

BANG

Annoyance filled the heart of the old god. Idiot, while I have been hit. His attacks are not powerful enough to give a fatal wound. And he dares reveal himself, goes [Strike]. All the tentacles struck at the same time, on a single target.

"Hello." [Hammer of Chaos]

The old god's vision turned bright red. A huge red hammer appeared right in front of its face. And it was sent flying away again.

How is it that I am losing? I am far more superior in agility, detection, strength and even mental strength. If I were to use my real power, will I be able to kill him? Self-doubt, an emotion it had never felt. Not even once until now.

I doubt myself? I feel irritated which causes my attacks to be rushed, and then... Wait, I feel annoyed. What're this intense emotions? Confusion and anger. These are not my emotions. It frowned deeply.

Dan showed himself again, "What happened? Weren't old gods master of emotions? I see a mighty old god tripping due to his or her emotions. Are you sure you are an old god?" He crackled in evil laughter. His carefree actions made the old god question, wasn't this a serious battle?

It shooked its head in disdain, "I see, I inherited part of your emotions as well, be it anger or sadness. All these are mortal weaknesses. Now that I have figured it out you can die now."

In this never-ending fight. There seems to be no winner.

Tip: Can't win a fight? Annoy the hell out of your opponent.
