Transmigrated

A bellow of desolation. Samael, was currently trembling. In front, Two hollowed eyes stared at him with perpetual tension. Everything around him was covered in green fog, it's as though he was being forced to look at the hollow eyes in front of him.

He didn't notice that he wasn't breathing anymore. Fear invaded his mind. He couldn't even think, all he knew was that the moment he looked away from the eyes in front of him, he would disappear..

Then, an eerie sound voiced out among the depths of the green fog.

"#$-@$(_!$...."

...

Gasp.

In an instant, Samael woke up, his immediate reaction was to sit up and look around him. His head ached as he used his palm to endure the pain.

'A dream..?'

He calmed down, the headache slowly disappearing. His breath grew steady and his mind grew clearer.

He took a few deep breaths before realizing something.

'This.. isn't my room..'

Confusion could be seen on his face. The brown painted walls was not something he was familiar with. There were shelves of books on the side. It couldn't have been his, Samael had never been an avid reader.

The white blanket he had on his bed, along with the half hard pillow, this really wasn't a room he was familiar with.

Beside him, he found a piece of paper. Drawn was a symbol of two hollowed eyes. He stared at it for awhile as he ached his brows.

His head ached again, memories flashed flashed into his head.

'Claude... Velmetio...?'

A realization came to his mind.

'This isn't my body..'

Memories of Claude Velmetio kept pouring in, more and more realizations came.

He had transmigrated.

...

1423, Claude Velmetio, believer of the God of Duty, Zaoin. After the 15th birthday of his little brother, Alma Velmetio, their parents suddenly went missing. Under the pressure of society, and his care for his little brother, he forced himself to earn money for the both of them.

'He didn't even have time to grief for his missing parents...'

Samael thought as he organized the inherited memories in his mind.

'Or should I say 'I'? After all, I'm now currently in Claude Velmetio's body.'

He looked at himself in the mirror, wearing a linen white shirt and a pair of loose black leggings, he had a light complexion. Black hair and light brown eyes. He seemed to be around 5'11 tall.

'Decent looking, and clean..' Samael thought to himself.

'I wonder how I got here... right! The hollowed eyes!'

He then looked beside him, trying to find that piece of paper with the symbol of hollowed eyes. However, it was gone, as though it wasn't even there to begin with.

'Gone...' He suddenly thought back to the green fog he was in, those two hollowed eyes that were staring into his very existence, it felt as though all his secrets were revealed to it.

'And that eerie voice too..'

He tried recalling the sound before he woke up here, but he couldn't remember. Or better yet, he couldn't understand it.

He cleared his mind, he didn't wanna think of such matters for now. He needed to understand his current situation first.

The room he was in was enveloped in light due to the Lamp beside him. He stood up and grabbed it, illuminating the book of shelves on the other side of the room.

'It's nighttime..' he thought as he looked outside the window. He then maintained his focus back on the books beside him.

'Bekesh Language, volume 1.. Bekesh Language, Volume 2.., Anqaar Language, Volume 4..., Mumniur Language volume 4..., Mumniur Dictionary..., Bekesh Dictionary.."

'These are all, language books?' According to the memories he inherited, Claude was a fanatic of learning languages, so he wasn't surprised by the amount of language books he had.

He grabbed one of the books and opened them to read it. Frocsaxi grammar book.

He turned to a random page.

'As I thought, I also inherited Claude's language skills...'

He put the book back in the shelf and tried looking for a history book so he could get a gist of the current place that he was in.

'Most of these are about languages..' he sighed as he accidentally dropped a book from the shelf.

He wanted pick it up till he found something that caught his eye. Below his bed was another book that was dropped. He picked it up and read the title.

'The Court Jester.'
