chapter 2 - Crushing on him

According to Wikipedia, a crush means

a strong feeling of romantic love for someone that is usually not expressed or a brief but intense infatuation for someone, especially someone unattainable...

Since my encounter with the next-door neighbor I had been having sleepless nights ( well not literally but nights filled with me thinking /dreaming about him)

I kept thinking about how beautifully tall he was and how he is lightly tanned deliciously and how smart his demeanor was and how deliciously pink his lips were...

I kept reminiscing about our encounter over and over again and how stupid I was not to ask for his name first and how he must have viewed me as a random spoilt girl

I just kept turning ridiculously on the bed till sleep swept me off

We still had a week before we resume school so the remaining of the week just passed by with me reminiscing about my encounter with the very handsome Akeem

Many times in the week I went out for no reason just to see if I could see him at the gate of his house but all attempts were fruitless and I never saw as much as a glimpse of him

Making me start to think if he really existed or if I was just way up over my fantasy that I could not even tell between reality and fantasy

I started to think of many things and I couldn't help but stare at the gate to his house each time I pass

my days in the house would soon be over and I became so desperate that if I so much as heard the sound of a car I would run outside just to check who it might be

Then it got to a point where I started to detest the fact that I would be going to school soon and wished desperately for some kind of holiday to keep us at home

Then and then I knew immediately that I had fallen into a deep crush with someone I don't even know
