3 His Mated Luna

Trustin Hunter had come to see his brother, Eithan Hunter, to rant out. He was shammed by the woman, whom he was supposed to marry tomorrow. She cheated on him with another man when he was away from the almost two and a half month. He needed to talk to someone but given his identity and the aura he had; people usually wanted to stay away from him.

In the end, Eithan was the only one to whom he could tell about his miseries.

"Where is he?" Trustin mumbled as he looked around the house. When he did not find Eithan around, he went upstairs to take some rest in the bedroom.

"Where the hell is he? When I need him, he is always gone!" Trustin again muttered in anger and took out the phone from his pocket. He called Eithan, who did not answer his call. He clenched his jaw in annoyance and sat on the velvet puffy chair.

He pressed his fingers on the temple of his forehead as he started to think where he actually went wrong. After he had turned eighteen, unlike the other werewolves, he could not get the scent for his mates. That was when the Blood Moon Pack leaders, his parents, asked him to travel around the country to find a mate even if that would be a human.

Initially, Trustin, did not take it seriously and remained busy in completing his studies and later, he entered into his family business. When he turned Twenty four, he began the search for his mate as his father threatened him that he would declare someone else as the Alpha of the pack.

He started with the search with the city where his brother lived, until three months ago, he finally found out that his mate was the Trivino family's daughter. For Trustin, marriage was not something magical but only an excuse to stay together while doing the compromises. He was not a firm believer of having a lover as others.

However, Brigetta Trivino cheated on him with another man. This was something that made him furious. He wanted to kill everyone in the Trivino family for doing this to him, but he controlled his anger. This was not the only problem before him. The chief problem was that his family would select a woman of their choice and make him marry her, which he did not.

Amidst all these thoughts, he felt Eithan had entered the house.

But there was something strange too.

A magical, magnificent and sweet scent filled his nostrils. His eyes turned deep red and for the first time, he felt his wolf was awakened. His entire body turned hotter as the scent became prominent. He shook his head, clenched his fists and somehow managed to take the control over himself.

However, his subconscious mind again acted strangely and it led Trustin to downstairs. His pupil had turned normal as his eyes landed on a young woman seated on the couch. He found the dazed and blank look on the woman's face.

His eyes landed on her cheek which had tears on it. His body again moved forward on its own, and he brought his fingers to her cheek.

The moment their eyes met, Trustin's heart palpitated against his chest. Those black orbs of her were like a black hole that would suck anyone in them. Their intense eyelock broke when a glass crashed on the floor loudly.

"What are you doing here?" Eithan said in a loud voice as the water glass fell from his hand. "Stay away from her," he said and ran to Elysia. She got confused when Eithan pulled her up and brought to her side.

With her innocent, doe eyes, she looked at Trustin who had slid his hands inside his pocket.

Trustin chuckled to hear him. "I called you many times. You did not answer any of my calls," he stated and again looked at Elysia, whose face was pale.

"Is he your new boyfriend? You should have told me earlier. I would not have come here then," Elysia said in a low voice.

"I am his brother, Trustin Hunter." He forwarded his hand for a handshake, but Elysia did not shake hands with him. This was the first time a woman saw him with that gaze. It bothered him and he lowered his hand.

"Elysia, he is my elder brother, Trustin. I did not know he will be here uannounced," Eithan asserted. At that moment, something hit his mind. "Wait! Were you not supposed to be at the wedding venue? You have marriage tomorrow," he stated and looked with inquistiveness at Trustin.

Trustin's jaw clenched and again a grim look appeared on his face. "She cheated on me. That is why I called you so many times," he said as he got annoyed. He settled on the couch and let out a frustrated chuckle. "She cheated on Trustin Hunter and I swear I am going to burn—" he paused as he realized Elysia was there, gazing at him.

Upon hearing Trustin's words, Elysia suddenly broke into tears. It shocked both the brothers, especially Trustin. Why did that woman started crying out of the blue?

"Elysia, what happened?" Eithan concerndly asked her.

"A-Atreus cheated on me with Brig-Brigetta!" Elysia said while stuttering. "They both played with my feelings. Arteus is so evil," she said and covered her eyes with her palms.

Trustin could not believe what he just heard. Elysia knew about Brigetta and Arteus, but how?

"You mean that your sister cheated on you with your fiance?" Eithan asked to confirm because that was something no one could even imagine. Brigetta was so good to Elysia and Atrues was living in the same apartment as Elysia. How they both could do this to her? That was why she was so quiet and asked him find a place for her.

Trustin's mind spun to learn the truth about the woman in front of him. The Trivino Family hid the truth about their second daughter. How dare they do it with him? He finally understood why he got the scent from Elysia a few minutes ago.

Because she was his mate! His Luna!

He peered at Elysia, whom Eithan was consoling. He had made her sit on the couch and ran to the kitchen to bring another glass of water for her. While Elysia drank the water, Eithan caressed her back. He took the glass from her and placed it on the table before him.

Oppositely, Trustin, again got that sweet scent from Elysia, albeit, she had sat a meter away from her. The blood in his veins acted stranegly and his body heated up. His pupil dilated first and then, they changed their color.

He clasped his fingers together as he did not want to lose control over himself right before Elysia. His breathing became ragged and her silent sobs ached his heart. That was strange! He never felt this way. He decided to run away from her before anything weird could happen to him.

He stood up, shook his head and quickly ran out of the house. He could not be around her anymore. His body was in a strange, unbearable heat. When she looked at him, he wanted to take her right away.

"F*ck!" He cursed under his breath as he got into the car in the garage. He picked the water bottle and finished it. But the heat in his body did not subsided by. This first encounter of his with Elysia was unexplainable to him. He turned on the engine as the scent was still coming to him.

He pressed the accelerator and drove out of the garage.

Inside the house, Eithan got confused to see Trustin run away out of the blue, without speaking any word to him. However, he did not focus on him His relationship with any of his family member was not good neither he wanted to make it good.

At present, Elysia was his priority. The truth had shaken him. He cupped Elysia's face and asked her not to cry anymore.

Elysia sniffled as she looked at him with her teary eyes. She again wiped the tears from her cheeks from the back of her palms.

"I will beat the pulp out of that bastard! How dare he cheat on you with your sister?" Eithan got furious. Elysia was his best friend since his university days. He could not bear it if someone hurt her or bring tears to her eyes. Atreus did both and it was an end for him.

"No. Do not do anything, Eithan. I will not marry him tomorrow. I will show their real faces to the world tomorrow. It was all a part of their plan. They wanted my money and property which my father has put in my name. More than the betrayal that I faced today, I am hurt by the fact that Brigetta called my father stupid. He gave her everything. How could she do this to the person, who gave her a family name and took care of her as equally as me?" Elysia was unable to understand the Brigetta she found out today.

"That was so mean of her! I am out of words. All I want to beat that bastard first until he will die," Eithan again was infuriated.

"I will expose their truth tomorrow and will not marry him. They both wanted to make a joke about my life, but I will not let that happen," Elysia said with a determined tone.
