Chapter 5 - The Search

"Let's move" Jackson ordered and the team began to move towards east to where Bunkers signal was found.

"Master here is the location of Bunker and what I had scanned previously although I didn't catch Bunker's signal before I was still able to calculate his location based on Henry's data" Bell Slowly reported as the team walked.

Showing Jackson a hologram map that appears on the top of Bell. Jackson saw that the location is near the top of a small rocky mountain 6km out from their location. Bell was able to scan 5km radius with Jackson as the center point a day before. The area around was just a dense sea of trees and a few landmarks like a rocky mountain.

Jackson knows that they will arrive there in about an hour if nothing happened. He needs to get to Bunker first before going to get Tool Maker. As long as the two are with him he would survive anything this world throws at him.

"Good work Bell. It should take about an hour to get there. What about Tool Maker's location?" Jackson said and asked.

"Tool Maker position is not on the map but the estimated guess of 2 km northeast ahead of Bunker. I did not dare to continue to scan too far from the camp." Bell replied.

" Okay we should be able to get both by the end of the day." Jackson sighed in relief knowing that both are not too far ahead.

Thus they continued walking towards Bunker. A little while later Jackson was able to see the small rocky mountain shown by Bell scan earlier. The mountain had too little plantation on it, just small plants or wild weeds here and there.

"Over there master" Henry pointed.

Looking at where Henry pointed, Jackson saw a metal egg in the distance. It was not hard to see due to the sight of the crash.

"Nice. Lets go and wake the big guy up" Jackson Hurried and rushed towards Bunker.

Arriving at the location, Jackson faces the metal egg. The egg is 5 meters in height and 3.5 meters in width. Looking at the metal egg Jackson moved closer and placed his hand on it. "BC3347Q"

Jackson announced the password to wake Bunker up. Back on earth Bunker is always on standby on this egg form and would only be activated if Jackson travels the world. Bunker is a weapon and it is not needed to be around all the time unlike Bell and Henry.

"Access Granted! All Systems online." A machine-like male voice responded to Jackson.

After that the metal egg transforms and opens up turning into a metal giant golem. Silver in color Bunker looked like a metal knight inspired by medieval knights. Jackson created Bunker like that because he liked the idea of a knight protecting him from danger or in his case guns and bombs.

Bunker grew in size and now he stood 7 meters tall. He faced Jackson and said "Bunker Greets Master" with the same machine-like male voice.

"Hey there big guy" Jackson greeted Bunker back and commanded him. "Activate level 3 protection mode"

"Receive! activating level 3 protection mode. Armored suit" Bunker heard Jacksons command and began to open up from the chest which Jackson entered. After Jackson got in Bunker closed his chest and transformed again.

This time Bunkers shorted by a meter and his looks slightly change. he still looks like a metallic golem knight but this time no gap can be seen on his armor. Jackson was fully projected inside, even if someone dropped a nuke on bunker Jackson would still be unharmed inside Bunker.

"Okay everyone let's move and pick up Tool Maker next." Jackson ordered the team.

"Roger!"

"Okay Master"

"Master! Master was eaten no!" / "Fii...!!" Cuprite saw what just happened and assumed that Bunker ate Jackson and she began to attack Bunker out of anger.

"Calm down Cuprite, This is Bunker, a friend he didn't eat me but protecting me" Jackson's voice came out of Bunker speakers.

Hearing this, Cuprite stopped and was shocked by how Bunker fused with her master. Cuprite stopped and attacked Bunker but instead started to crawl around it still not believing that Jackson was not eaten.

"Fake! This bad guy is a fake master. Where is Master? You big piece of metal!?" Cuprite crawling around the bunker trying to find Jackson.

leaving with no choice Jackson opened Bunker's armored suit showing himself to Cuprite to make her calm down. "Sigh, See look I'm here and fine not harmed or eaten. Bunker is my armor and I need him to fight bad people so calm down okay?" Jackson told Cuprite.

Seeing Jackson Cuprite was both Happy and confused by Bunker so she asked Jackson. "Master, why are you here? What is this big guy?"

"Cuprite look, it's okay this big guy is a friend and helps to protect me okay" slowly telling Cuprite. Jackson knows that this is new to her just like she is new to them.

"Okay let's move" Again Jackson ordered after Cuprite's shenanigans.

"Move where to this time?" Cuprite asked Jackson.

"To find the other big guy" Jackson, inside Bunker slowly making his way towards the northeast where Tool Maker is supposed to be.

"Okay! Forward!" Cheerful responding to Jackson Climbed onto the top of Bunkers head and pointed forward like commanding her mount to move. Jackson saw this could help but laugh a little at the sight of this silly ant.

As the team slowly moved to find Tool Maker. Jackson asked Bell to continue to scan the surroundings. He wanted to create a Map of this place and make some landmarks to build a base after Tool Maker is found.

20 minutes Later Both Henry and Bell received the signal from Tool Maker then told Jackson the location. Tool Maker Location was under a massive tree ahead of them but before the team could move Cuprite jumped off Bunker and got into battle stance.

"Master! Danger!" Cuprite warned Jackson.

Hearing her warning Jackson warned the other two. "Bell, Henry Battle mode"

"Roger!"

"On it!"

With the two in battle mode Jackson commands the team to proceed in finding Tool Maker. "Go! advance in caution."

Jackson and the team moved slowly forwards and found Tool Maker under the tree. Bell immediately scanned the area and discovered hundreds of life forms around from the top of the massive tree.

"Master! Lifeforms detected on the top of the trees. Total enemy count 270 and increasing rapidly" Bell reported to Jackson.

Looking up, Jackson saw spider webs covering the tree like a blanket and hundreds of spiders running around them. Seeing how big these spiders were Jackson could not help feel a cold feet but quickly snapped out of it.

"Careful! Take cover!" Jackson warned. Then he raised up Bunkers arms aiming towards a group of arachnids, hatches in its palms popped open, and sprayed flames on the spiders turning them all to ash. The massive tree now became a bonfire.

Of course Jackson knows that setting things on fire in the forest is bad but this massive tree was isolated so the fire won't spread too much.

"I'll go get Tool Maker, everyone stay away from them fire" Jackson told the group to retreat as they rushed forward and grabbed the metal cube.
