Chapter 11 - Planet Ark

There was once a great war between mankind and great void. Legends tells of how humans discovered the power of spiritual energy. The first humans used this power to build homes build, protect families and transcended life.

This became the norm for thousand of years, till one day a man by the name Jarvan Famestar wanted more power that is far stronger than spirit energy. He wanted to be strongest human to ever exist.

Jarvan theory was that there are always two side to every coin just like how there is day and night, sky and land, darkness and light. So his theory was if spirit energy exist to give life to everything, then there must be an energy that takes everything away.

It was not long till Jarvan discovered void energy. The void gives nothing, takes nothing, owns nothing, the void is nothing. Nothing exist in the void, Jarvan tried to cultivate the void energy and he somehow succeeded in using it. Jarvan with his new power challenged the strongest gods and pantheons to a duel and crushed them all with a single strike.

Jarvan finally achieve his dreams to become the strongest existence but the void was not just energy it was an existence born to do nothing just like how the spiritual energy existed to gave something to everything. Both have laws that were given since primal birth and must be followed.

Jarvan took from the void and the void wanted it back and for the first time since primal times the void roared. The void first law was broken, The void gives nothing not life nor power to anything. Angered, the void gave what this theft wished if they wanted power then he gave them power. It cursed the world turning beast and human mad for blood and to end everything .

Jarvan theory was correct spirit energy is a blessing to life and void energy is a curse to life. Less than a day the world population collapse and 90% of life blown out like a candle flame. Those who survive gathered, cultivated spirit energy to the highest and became gods.

Years later, Humanity had 9 god of war. They fought and defended the remaining few but the void continue to give. The void gave life, power and purpose. New beast born from things that did not exist, dreams and fear Humans had since the beginning of time. This part of history was called The Creation of Non-existence.

Demons, Fallen, Ghost, Monsters and abominations existence that human feared and stories pass down became true and real. The void command its creation to kill everything and return to nothingness it once had.

Knowing the ending the last few remaining god of war created a new world a planet, something that the void could not touch. Using their spirit and life these last god of war created a new planet called it ark and sent their families inside.

But it did not end there. These God of war knew that if left alone, there will be another Jarvan Famestar in planet ark. They came up with a plan to used everything they had treasures, spirit and life to create 5 heavenly law for Planet Ark.

These laws are created to test cultivators. When a cultivator enter level 6 the five laws will begin to test each cultivators. First, The law of strength at level 6, followed by Law of will at level 7, then Law of spirit at level 8, next is Law of the mind at level 9 and lastly Law of the heart at level 10. Before a cultivator moves to a next level they must succeed against these laws or the heavenly law will smith them to death and leave nothing but ash.

These laws served to stop those who tries to pursue the power of the void and unleash its curses to humanity and the world again.

"And this is the history of Planet Ark" Faith ended her story. A while ago Jackson asked what this world is called.

Hearing Jackson question the girls asked him how does he now know that world he lives in. Jackson only explained that since childhood Jackson never talk or read books. He was too sick to do anything and only lay in bed and that his days only consist of sleeping and eating nothing else therefor he did not know anything about the world outside his door.

It was only that a month ago Jackson's mother found a flower that can cure everything and revive the dead. This godlike item is too much of a temptation to anyone so his family was killed leaving him all alone in this world now.

His mother used force to make me eat the plant and sent him away to only god knows where with his servants.

Hearing Jackson made up story the girls cried and began to sympathies with Jackson as they too lost everything due to a false treasure.

No longer doubting him faith began to tell me the biggest history of this world and how it came to be. This story was pass down through generations in Planet Ark to serve as a reminder to anyone not to mess with the void power. The void gives nothing, takes nothing, owns nothing, it was nothing.

When Jackson heard the story, He was shock that someone can cultivate to godhood and create a planet. It all sounded like crazy fairy tale to him but if he did not see spirit power for himself he would order Bunker to slap anyone else who told him this story.

After getting some history lessons from Faith Jackson still had many more questions to be answered but he know that his questions would lead on for days without an end to it.

He turned to Faith again and asked her one more question. A question that Jackson really wanted to know since the start. "Faith, Tell me. How do one cultivate spirit energy?"

"What? Young Master. You never cultivated before?" Faith answered a question with a question.

"Sis, did you forget? Jackson just got cured from his illness how is suppose to cultivate if he was sick almost all his life?" Hope scolded Faith.

"Ahh right, I apologies" Faith tap her head and gave an apology to Jackson But Jackson can only scratch his head because he knows the it was all a lie.

"Young Master, the way people cultivate is through breathing manuals. Each family owns their won breathing manuals for cultivating spirit energy. If you join a sect you can browsed through a larger collection" Faith said.

"I see, do you guys have any I can borrow?" Jackson asked.

"fufufu, Lucky for young master when we fled the town we took everything and this include a couple of breathing manuals for you to browse on" Lili acted like this was something to be proud on.

"Really? Can I see them?" Jackson was very excited. He wanted to see this so called breathing manual and try cultivating himself.

"Here young master" Faith magically summoned a booked out of thin air which surprised Jackson.

After a while he snap out of it and payed attention to the books she handed. Jackson couldn't help opening the book but before he could Henry came.

"Master, trouble." Henry said. When Jackson heard this he stood up and left with a serious face. Seeing Jackson walking away the girls followed.
