War Council

"Havien... I have some information on the ones who kidnapped Aster."

"...Huh?"

It's been 3 days since the argument between Havien and general Martin. Martin, realizing his mistake, apologized to Havien, and Havien also did not make a fuss about it. Although the relationship between them is not as amicable as before, there are no hard feelings between them.

Today was also the day Aster was supposed to get discharged, so it seems like a twist of fate that he got some news to prepare a discharge gift for Aster.

"What about them?" Havien asked while maintaining eye contact with Martin. It seemed like it has become compulsory for Martin to answer his question.

"They're connected to the terrorist organization we are going to war against."

"That's obvious, I mean, they interrogated Aster for subject 032. Who else will bother for information about that dubious term which is only known by a few people that it's related to something against the terrorists? The terrorists themselves."

"Well, you have a point. But we have further found out that those terrorists came from the base of...

"Our first attack will be on the base situated in New Mexico." A girl with silver-white hair spoke. She had crystal-like silver eyes, which reflected like diamonds. It was as if a gem is attached to her eyes. She had a perfect face and no flaws could be seen on it. It was a perfect beauty comparable to Havien's own.

She was Stella Silverdawn, the commander of the Skyfall crusade, which is the name dubbed for the war against the terrorist organization, who have recently named themselves S.K.Y. which stands for Syndicate of Kross and Yveltal; Kross and Yveltal assumed to be nicknames of the leaders. They have now begun conducting terrorism out of the shadows in full swing.

A war council is being held in the headquarters of the UN, where all the relevant members are present.

"If our attacks are successful, it will allow us to conquer this region, which will provide us a stable foothold," She said as she drew on the virtual map. "And allow for further advancement downwards towards Mexico, where the terrorists have gathered their power. This base should also be easier to conquer when compared to the behemoths which are the other bases, with affordable casualties, as it is estimated that New Mexico is the weak link in their hold of power over South America. Further details have been provided to you in a document. Please ask any questions you have after reading it." Stella finished while feeling content inside, as the first meeting finished without any problems.

Unfortunately, problems arrived bearing the name Havien Crimsonwhite.

*BANG*

The door to the meeting room was kicked open, startling all the members inside. A boy with a weird mask walked in wearing casual Mexican clothes and eating a bag of Doritos.

"Hola amigos! I'm fucking up their base in North Mexico. Any problems?" He declared as he walked in and sat on an empty seat. It was coincidentally the chair of Stella as she was standing and giving her presentation at the front.

Everyone was stunned silent. No one was able to say anything for a few seconds.

"Why is there a child barging in? Who the fuck are you? Where are your parents?" Stella said in an agitated and irritated tone as her perfect presentation was ruined by this stupid kid.

Havien looked around before finally pointing to himself in disbelief,

"You're talking to me?"

"Of course."

"You are the commander of the Skyfall crusade, and you don't know who am I?"

*sigh* "Look, kid. I don't care if your dad is such a bigshot that I need to know you, but you can't just barge in here and disturb us when we are in the middle of an important meeting. Now go away and leave us alone."

"Pfft... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Ohhh man. This shit's hilarious. My god. And to think you're the commander... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I can't believe it." Havien continued laughing out loud, which unsettled all the members present. Stella also wasn't able to say anything, this situation has already gone beyond her comprehension.

Finally, after a minute of stomach-hurting laughter, Havien stopped and looked at Stella with amusement.

"I'm not even gonna bother explaining to you who I am, these guys can do that after I'm gone. I just came here to inform you guys about my plans, so continue onwards while thinking that this base..."

Havien said as he walked towards the virtual map, and continued in a cold voice,

"...Will be obliterated from the face of the earth within the next 36 hours. Am I clear?"

""""Yes, sir.""""

The whole council, with the exception of Stella, replied in a unified voice.

"Good. You may continue." Havien said as he walked out of the room, while eating his nachos.

"Now, mind explaining who the fuck was that?" Stella asked in an interrogative tone, it was clear that she was in a bad mood.

"Ma'am, it was Havien Crimsonwhite. The former to-be commander of the Skyfall crusade, the one recently deemed unfit for the role." A member replied.

"So, why a person who was kicked out of his position is daring enough to make such a fuss?"

"Well, Sir Havien has been designated as a separate one-man unit with full, independent authority. He is a genius who has developed for himself enough technology and firepower under his command to make him rival a major superpower, and he is our greatest asset in the war against the terrorists."

"So, it means that he can do whatever the fuck he wants and not give two shits about my authority?" Stella asked in an aggravated tone. Such a person being their greatest asset is going to bring a lot of headaches to her.

"Well, frankly, yes. That guy is casual even with the Supreme General." A member replied.

Stella was stunned. Does that person have enough power to be casual with even the Supreme General?! Even her father has to be respectful to him if he ever meets him. Just what kind of powers does he hold?

"Well... Let's put that aside for now." Stella continued, she could not let the meeting go in shambles because of a single mishap.

"Do we consider our further plans while assuming that the North Mexico base will be completely destroyed? To be honest, I don't believe that it is possible to conquer that base in under 36 hours, even more so as a one-man unit. It is one of the core bases which is heavily protected even though it is a weak link, and attacking it will be considered difficult considering the terrain around it." Stella expressed her doubts. Hearing this, the council members looked at each other and one of them told her,

"Please do not underestimate the monster known as Havien Crimsonwhite. If my guess is correct, considering the personal grudge and rage he showed to us while declaring to us his intent, by tomorrow, not even ashes will remain of the base." The member replied in a confident voice as if it was a matter of fact.
