"If my purpose is to be a war weapon, I'll gladly be so. Why do you bother teaching me about humanity?" A lost child brought upon this world by the greed of humankind. "What am I exactly made out of? Humans arrogantly claim that they created an artificial human like me inside a lab, but... They aren't capable of creating me. Their technology can't create true life." I can satisfy my hunger for knowledge, and the mysteries behind my existence might finally be solved..." Is he really ready to bear the weight he is destined to bear? Stella vs Havien

Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

With the impact due to both colliding with insane momentum, Havien and Stella were launched pretty strongly in opposite directions. A crash landing on the ground hurt both of them, but they regained their bearings pretty quickly.

Both of them were clear in the fact that their strengths were equal. It would be foolish to try to take advantage of their physical bodies. This battle would depend heavily on chance, skill, and most importantly, luck.

Havien rushed back toward Stella while firing some shots at her with a gun he had picked up from the terrorists. He did not hope to damage her with the shots, but it was rather a distraction, or in better words, a feint.

But Havien underestimated Stella's level of skill. Only the first shot worked, and the rest were ignored by her and she focused on Havien's scythe. She had to admit, the power behind it was terrifying. Stella had to give it her best at every millisecond or a chance will appear for Havien to lead the battle.

Thus, began the melee combat. Both of them were extremely skilled and familiar with their weapons. Although the scythe was not Havien's preferred choice of weapon (those were the duals), he has still mastered it to the point of being the most practical option at close combat. It is also a fact that Havien was considering a sword at first, but he still found the scythe cooler and more unpredictable.

Stella's dual short swords were also used at a high level of familiarity. Those were her family's relics, so she was forced to train in them due to her being the most unusual person born in their family. Who would've thought that it would be useful someday?

Havien's attacks were unpredictable and chaotic. It was riddled with the weirdest movements and it was almost impossible to tell what Havien would do next. Stella only had to rely on her reflexes and her innate battle senses. Battling with someone who uses a weird weapon such as the scythe practically was difficult enough for her, combining it with Havien's unpredictability was nightmarish.

But even with all that, the battle was at a stalemate. Stella's battle sense was monstrous, she was always able to react to Havien's attacks. Havien was sure that she had been trained heavily from a very young age. Havien's lab had only improved his body and taught him the basic military combat style, and although he had achieved extreme mastery in it, it could not compare to Stella's fantasy-grade martial arts.

'It ain't working. Let's try something different.'

Havien backed up, and Stella didn't chase after him. She knew Havien had some secret weapons, and following him was the same as willingly falling into a trap. Thus she decided to stay passive.

"I don't fucking know why you have betrayed me, but I ain't going down that easily." Havien shouted at her while pointing the front end of his scythe at her.

'Transform into energy rifle. Single shot mode. high-density energy concentration. Aim auto-lock.'

Havien's scythe transformed into a sci-fi energy rifle. An eerily charging sound was sounding from the rifle, and a dangerous glow could be seen on the muzzle.

'SHIT. THAT'S DANGEROUS.' Stella thought as she held a blue crystal in front of her. She closed her eyes for a split second, seemingly concentrating on the crystal, then suddenly the crystal broke into pieces, the pieces were floating around her and they spread a blue light around her.

It was a magical forcefield, created from a relic of the Silverdawn family.

"Damn those fucking relics! But that ain't gonna save you."

'Overclock energy rifle, 250%.'

'Warning. Overclock will lead to the risk of injuries due to the recoil and instability of the weapon.'

'Override warning. Overclock.'

The energy emitting from the rifle suddenly changed. If before it was just a purely white brightness. It was now a fear-inducing crimson color of energy. And it was gathering at such amounts that it was causing waves to ripple from the rifle. Havien had just infused an anti-matter reaction into the rifle.

*BOOOOM*

The shot was fired, and Havien, although with some struggle, had broken apart the relic barrier. The shot also damaged the relic overcoat which she was wearing as armor, as well as the short swords she used to block the impact too. It had now inflicted serious injuries upon her. More accurately, Havien burned her heavily.

But she survived. It wasn't only her strength strong, but her vitality too, although she wasn't in a good condition now.

Havien on the other hand also suffered burns. Being so close to a self-destructing gun, he was lucky that he hadn't died, but, the same as Stella, wasn't in a good condition.

Both her on the ground, facing each other half-burned. Havien at this moment once again asked the one thing he asked countless times before this fight.

"Why do you want to kill me, Stella Silverdawn? I have not harmed any of the innocents, and I also promised to quietly disappear after all this is finally over. And yet, the UN, the Silverdawns, and YOU want to kill me. Tell my fucking why." Havien's voice was ice-cold. It was devoid of emotions and only a cold burning rage.

"Do you really want me to actually believe that you will quietly disappear?" Stella, surprisingly, replied.

"YES! THAT'S THE EXACT FUCKING THING I WANT YOU TO BELIEVE! WHY WON'T YOU GUYS BELIEVE ME?"

"It was never a question of belief or trust. You have enough power to threaten countries, and who wouldn't want to remove a threat?" Stella replied calmly while maintaining eye contact with Havien. Though it was a bit difficult to do that through his mask. Who knows what kind of expression he has now?

"Hah. A reasonable reason. But they never would have the power to kill me without the Silverdawn's help, and most importantly, the help of someone like you. I'll ask again, and the last time. Why do you want to kill me, Stella Silverdawn?"

At this moment, Stella looked at Havien while remembering her past life. She had seen Havien create weapons comparable, even sometimes surpassing relics of her family. And Havien had not hesitated to use them. To take revenge on the UN, he engulfed the whole world in chaos. She had seen him mercilessly slaughtering the military bases of the UN singlehandedly and detonating nukes like firecrackers. But that was not it, the most horrifying part was the nonchalance and boredom present in his demeanor which traumatized her.

"Because you are a demonic monster, Havien. More accurately, you will become a demonic monster who is a threat to the world." Stella replied gravely.

Havien went silent for a moment. Those words were not spoken as an insult or a blind proclamation. The surety she had in those words confused and enraged Havien.

"You seem too sure that I will become a monster. How delusional are you? To attack me while thinking that you are doing some good for the world. A fucking self-righteous bitch, that's who you are. I can't believe it I am on the verge of dying due to a delusional and emotional tantrum of a child." Havien replied while pissed off.

These words lit Stella's fuse. Even though Havien did not know about it, those years of suffering and fear in a hopeless world being called an emotional tantrum greatly pissed her off.

"WHAT DO YOU FUCKING KNOW?! I KNOW THE THINGS YOU WILL DO YOU YOURSELF DON'T KNOW! I HAVE SEEN IT! I HAVE SEEN IT ALL! YOUR SADISTIC CURIOSITY AND BOREDOM WILL LEAD THE WORLD TO DOOM AND I KNOW BECAUSE I HAVE SEEN IT ALL GO TO HELL!" Stella shouted at the top of her voice, her emotions evident. Even though her face was covered, it was still visible that her eyes were red.

"You know what? I'll tell you a secret. I'm a regressor." Stella's was now calmed down and ice cold. She had enough of keeping it all to herself and she had decided to confront her trauma.

"I returned 3 years back in time. Back to the trial which should've had meaning. I know what happened at this point in time. You know what Havien, the UN had already decided that a bastard like you shouldn't exist. They planned to kill you for real in your elaborate stage. The sad part is that they failed, and you... you turned the world upside down for revenge. You used the excuse of revenge to satisfy all your desires to unleash your sick creations onto the world.

The world turned into hell, and the Silverdawns were one of the very few pillars left. But you were merciless. you hunted down every last one of the UN and brought on the apocalypse. You even hunted down the SIlverdawn family and me. I still remember day by day living in your fear, praying that I may live another day. Finally, we both killed each other using all our weapons and relics."

Stella now spread her arms and looked at Havien with a smile in her eyes.

"And here I am, defying death and reversing time, all so I can kill you. And you have given me quite a special gift by killing me, by driving me to utter despair. Now I will show you what exactly is supernatural." Stella said as she took a deep breath and closed her eyes. At that moment, she was deeply concentrating on herself, trying to use the one thing she felt had been there since her regression, and the thing she suspects is the cause of her regression.

As Havien looked at Stella with utter shock and disbelief, her hair slowly started to float and glow with an ethereal light. She was emitting a mysterious silver aura around her that made her feel unfathomable.

When she opened her eyes, they were glowing with an ethereal and mystifying silver. At this moment, she truly looked like a higher being.

When she looked at Havien with those cold and ethereal eyes, Havien, for the first time in his life, felt fear.
