97 Chapter 90 - Battle Arena

Oh boy, another one and hopefully I didn't fuck up and rush things again.

Erix finished spending his time with Shuna, Yuina, Kaede and their children who had fallen asleep because of his presence. He headed towards the farmlands where he met with Mare and Aura who worked in expanding and developing their crops and livestock like the Galala Gator.

"Good work, how's the help?"

Erix asked to see golems and undead working on the field since they don't rest and can work tirelessly. They are like robots and free slaves. Low level undead are quite useful.

"Thanks to Haruna-san and Ririna-san, the fields have been growing smoothly." Mare answered mentioning the two hobgoblina.

They were able to learn lessons given to them by Albedo and Yae Miko giving them books to study and only a matter of weeks able to perform near flawlessly.

"The beast we collected, especially Kurosaburou and Kumajirou, had been growing quite well. They were able to fight against Cocytus and landed a few hits." Aura said, having hand placed behind her back while the twin dark elf showed him around.

"Ah, If there is anything that you need." Erix said adding more things and adjusted them accordingly.

"Ah, right, when we have time we will go visit the elves close to the borders. I think it would be great for you two to have some interaction with other elves."

He thought of taking Clayman's country once he got rid of him or at least turned him into a puppet. His country is primarily composed of dark elves due to the miasma produced by their country that affects elves.

"Oh, can we bring Aylin?" Aura asked, hoping to get quality time with his master husband and daughter.

"M-Me too, I think it would be great to bring Ayliz with us." Mare asked.

"Of course! We will depart once Benimaru gives his report with Amaia." Erix said as the two happily smiled at the opportunity. The three chatted a bit more until Erix headed to the blacksmith and inspected the progress of everything.

"This weapon is easily above Legend Class. The material used is foreign to me but nothing I can't replicate."

Kaijin said holding onto Blade of Exile handed by Erix who wanted to see how it will improve their weapon production.

Erix can do it all by himself but where's the fun in that? Just because he can doesn't mean he needs to nor does he want to.

"But we did everything to gather and learn on how it is made. Weapons from another world are really something else." Kaijin laughed, feeling his passion as a blacksmith burning once more.

Erix grabbed the weapon and felt its flames fueling his anger and vice versa. He stored the weapon into his item box before checking on Emery, the blacksmith girl.

"Has there any problem with the halberd I gave to you?" She was currently having a break from working and chatted with Erix.

"Yes, it worked splendidly. Though, it got badly damaged from my last battle." Erix took out the halberd that he used to fight against Darkseid and showed it was chipped and mangled having been protected by his True dragon Haki but Darkseid was something else during the fight.

"I see, it took quite the abuse. I'll make sure to do better this time." Emery said, already expecting that her skill is still far compared to her master, Kaijin and Kurobe.

"You already did. The person I fought is rather powerful and it's already amazing it hadn't turned to dust even if I coated it with my True Dragon Haki."

Erix complimented her and simply told the truth making ponder if he ever acquired the Nth Metal or even the Tenth Metal which is the strongest metal in DC Cosmology.

Though, he had to go and fight for it against the New gods which would be tricky but nothing he can't handle. Erix more than welcomes and consumes them if they get in his way.

"Stand proud, you're amazing." His words made Emery filled with joy and stare deeply into Erix.

"I…Thank you, Lord Erix." She said while Erix nodded.

"But can you change the design? I'll return later since I plan on visiting the Alchemy lab." Erix said.

"Sure, give me the template you want." Emery said as he gave her ideas on the halberd where she got excited in creating weapons for him.

Once that was done, Erix decided to leave but Emery stopped for a moment and pulled him for a kiss letting her experience the joy of being with Erix. She let out a small moan and pulled back, blushing a bit.

"Uhmm…that was just thanks for praising my work and for saving us." Emery can't look in his eyes embarrassed from the ordeal and Erix simply chuckled.

"No problem. See you around Emery."

Erix left the blacksmith and headed his way to the blacksmith using the teleportation pad while waving at his citizen who greeted him with respect and reverence.

'Is this what doom feels? That man is one of the few I respect.'

He thought himself reminded of the benevolent dictator Victor Von Doom who gave an amazing quality of life in his country. If Erix meets him then he considers him as his rival.

There was even a child who gave him flowers and he happily accepted it as people went their way. He soon arrives at the research facility and meets with Vester who gives a run down on the progress of potions productions.

"Like you suggested, after we successfully recreated the healing potion, we began working on a potion that helps adventurer's growth along with the quality and quantity of their magicules."

Vester said having assisted by NPC and summoned monsters who are not inherently strong but their lore and background about being told researchers helps.

"Though our prototypes are yet hundred percent certains that it can provide what we are aiming for."

Alchemist girl or Spinel said, showing vials of potions that they had created using the ingredients from Yggdrasil and in Central Axis World.

"Hmmm, let me take a sip then." Erix took the vial, took a sip and analyzed it. The two watched him and waited in anticipation.

"It's a bit off but you're heading the right path with these."

Erix said as they cheered excited and happy that their work wasn't a complete failure. Some time later, Erix chatted with Spinel and showed great interest towards him.

"Is that true? A world without magic still has to create unbelievable inventions?" Spinel was listening to stories about Erix's journey through other worlds.

"It's true, I aim to recreate technology and improve it by avoiding certain things." Erix said.

"I'm curious to see it with my own eyes. Alas, it's impossible." Spinel was disheartened but Erix chuckled.

"No worries, I can bring you there if you wish. But not now, perhaps in another time." Erix said surprised her and she lightened up

"Really now? Well, I am grateful, Lord Erix." Spinel said.

The two continued their conversation sharing a few things about themselves until Erix headed back to his palace. Erix noticed the chat group was once again active and everyone immediately went to the arena after he warned his subordinates about his disappearance.

Chat Group Arena

Erix arrived and found everyone inside where he calmly glanced over to Unohana who didn't even hide her desire to fight since she was able to discern that he has Immeasurable spiritual power if she used her power scale. It was beyond captain level. This is only his unconcealed state appearing in his four armed visage surprising the other two.

"Is this how you really appear?"

Unohana first one to speak unbothered by his monstrous form while he quickly turned into his battle form rather than human concealed state.

"Yes and no, I don't have real form and freely shift my form." Erix answered, receiving a nod from her.

"It's nice to meet all of you, I've already introduced myself but I am Gwen Tennyson, I assume you are Erix Khan?" She walked over to him sensing his mana was rather pure, almost blending in the surrounding.

"Yes, but just call me Erix." He said as everyone got to introduce themselves once again and began to get along especially Gwen and Jean grey.

"We both have red hair. I think if people didn't know any better they might think we're sisters."

Jean said seeing how similar they appear and Gwen started to like her new friend since the two both are geniuses and working on their studies.

"You seem aligned with Mana. Do you study magic?"

Raven asked since she could sense a massive amount of Mana within Gwen almost her entire being composed of it but she didn't try to mention it.

"Ah yes, I can form a construct with my magic." Gwen demonstrates forming pink energy that's surprised her.

"It's interesting how you two have similar abilities."

Erina commented seeing how Raven has black and white construct while Gwen had pink. Meanwhile the quartet chatted, Erix was talking to Sona and Unohana.

"What are you exactly?" Sona asked, sensing demonic energy yet also other foreign energy that she can't discern.

"Ah, I am a True Dragon God of Armageddon and also a True Demon Lord. " Erix said.

"And what are True Demon lords and True Dragons? They sound powerful." Unohana asked.

"Well, There are only four true dragons and I am the fifth. They are the most powerful being in my home-world capable of shaking entire worlds with presence alone. While True Demon Lord only achieved through a ritual that cost several tens of thousands of souls."

Erix answered, shocking Sona and Unohana who wondered how she'll fare against them.

"It sounds like your Great Red from my home-world who is named apocalypse dragon and True dragon god emperor."

Sona started thinking how scary it would be if there are 5 of the great red. Unohana observed Erix carefully and felt her skin crawl. She wondered if the arena was able to withstand her Bankai because everything would melt even herself is no exception.

However, Unohana wouldn't even care if it did since this isn't soul society and won't matter even if the entire place melted away including the chat group members if she can taste the thrill of fighting. The feeling of being at death's door.

"Erix-san, would it be alright to request a duel with you?"

Unohana couldn't contain herself anymore and wanted to know the depths of Erix's might. The Scarlet king glances sensing her desire and almost sickening that she might as well have her own craving.

However, Erix smiled showing his dragonic teeth and wanted to fight unohana because he understood the joy of battle and combat. His godly ability is sealed away because he doesn't need it because they would fight to enjoy and not win.

"Sure, why not. Hope you don't mind, Sona-san since I can guess you wish to test your reward as soon as possible." Erix glanced over to Sona who shook her head and nodded.

"It's fine and we have plenty of time later. I am also curious on how you two fight. Shinigami and the grim reaper in my world are similar to her."

Sona said even though she wants to be over with her Metal Vessel, information about other chat group members is as important as her rewards because information is power.

"Thank you, Sona-san." Unohana softly smiled but it's obviously a facade because as soon she turned to Erix immediately formed a sinister smile.

"Let us see how much fun our battle would be. I do hope you don't dissapoint." She said instantly vanished and appeared in the center of the arena while Erix followed and Sona watched in the spectator seats.

The Sitri Heiress bale to discerned the change in atmosphere around the two as they stood silently and made the whole place seem to come to a halt waiting for this two powerhouses to clash in more "ways 😏" than one.
