77 Chapter 72 - Training Grounds

I'm not too keen on rushing this pace since I believed it would be robbed of opportunities for character interaction. Though, it's not best but I try to do better. After this arc then it would be time skip after that would be another World chat Mission.

Traveling to the Training ground, Erix simply wrapped his arms around Emery who blush and teleported to their destination. The location of the training ground was rather far and needed to use a teleportation pad to travel to the location. As usual, everyone was training hard and their morale rose from the simple fact they are determined to protect their new homes from possible threats.

They were all trained in the hands of Cocytus and Hakurou, producing a formidable army. The sound of sword slashing and metal clinging was heard. The soldiers are separate from Mages to normal soldiers that use weapons. This helps organize the team and some are trained by respective decisions, placing Shion, Souei and Benimaru with their own squad that they train and lead.

At the same time Supersei helps in teaching Magic to other images as her unique skills help in learning magic theories and spells rather easily especially Tier Magic. Kanami, Asue, Borasato, Aifu and Minokichi aren't suited in training beside Asue who prioritize helping the High Orc with construction due to her skills that are related to Earth. Seiji was at the medical division helping teach people how to heal and having skills for them.

Erix does place their strength in weaknesses taking inspiration from the Imperium of Man in their military forces. If possible make his own Adeptus Sororitas, Adeptus Custodes or even Adeptus Astartes. Though, it is simply a thought beside the Adeptus Sororitas hoping to make it happen.

He put it aside as Emery followed him and went further into the Train Grounds where people passing them were greeting them and showing respect to their king, nay, their god. He was walking heading to the center of the training grounds when he spotted Benimaru who was helping train the newbies.

"Fa-I mean Lord Erix!" Benimaru stopped and walked over to him, almost calling him something else while Erix smirked already knew what he was about to call him. He is mentally old enough to be a father especially how his form isn't truly what he looks like and simply feel comfortable taking the form.

The two do have the same hair color and if it wasn't for his horn and Kijin features then he would be mistaken to be his son. Though, technically he will be when Erix takes his mother and sister that he didn't mind. He often checks on Yuina, Shuna and Shion when he has time and uses his power to spend more time with them.

"Benimaru, how are you?" Erix happily greeted him, making the red haired Kijin smile.

"I've been doing good, lord Erix. I continue to sharpen my skills and power to not fall behind." Benimaru proudly said while Erix smiled at him.

"Glad to hear that. But bare in mind to rest when needed. You should make sure to spend time with your mother and sister if you have the chance." Erix advises him to have a great relationship with him as if he was his son.

"I'll keep that in mind, Lord Erix. Anyway, why the sudden Visit? Isn't today when you, mother and Shuna visit the Kusha Mountains?" Binamaru asked while Erix simply nodded, gesturing for him to follow.

"I'm here to test out a weapon gifted to me by this lovely lady." Erix said, causing the blacksmith girl to blush and Benimaru looked at the weapon in his hands and saw that it was a rather powerful Halberd.

"Ah, is that so?" Benimaru nodded as they headed towards the center of the training ground. The place was large open land that had some barracks and other things for training.

Erix found Hakurou training Rimuru while Cocytus was teaching the Red Hair warrior, Rubellia Walline.

The two observed for a moment watching how Rimuru fought against Hakurou. He simply stayed in one spot while Rimuru fluidly swung her sword that sliced through the air producing wind pressure. The impact was loud and clearly powerful enough to slice through even the strongest metal.

Emery was amazed at what she was seeing and this was the first time she had visited the training ground. She was shocked to see monsters having formal training and becoming a lot more skilled and unpredictable. Even more amazing is that every single one was named and giving someone that kind of blessing would take a large toll on the person who named them.

They were close enough that it was easy for them to be detected yet Erix made it possible for no one to notice them until he decided to. Erix didn't want to disturbed their training and concentration. He doesn't need to learn Hakurou's Hazy Style when he has already started to develop his own using the in-game technique.

Erix has polearm Mastery and using the basics of Hazy Style then adding his own spin had developed an Art. This reminds him of Carrera's descendent that was reincarnation of Hakurou's grandfather who he named Agera during their summon. He could see that he was not around and was likely accompanying Carrera.

Rimuru was rather talented, especially the fact that her body was adaptable and received a powerful homunculus body that Erix made. She absorbed Hakurou's swordsmanship rather easily and lasted longer than the rest of them with Gobta closest one as he's a prodigy but also an idiot.

Though she is far from being an Expert nor a master if anything her skills are at least close to well trained soldiers yet considering the time she trained until now was insane since it's only been close to two weeks since she started training. Her training started from Cocytus but his style doesn't suit Rimuru but learn the basics of combat.

On the other side was Rubelia, the red haired warrior that he rescued. She was laughably weak yet brimming with potential from the unwavering gaze that she displayed. Ever since her party died during their escort, she was determined to improve and grow stronger but her talent was lacking and kept on failing. However, it didn't stop her to continue standing back up and trained under Cocytus who respected her conviction.

He does not look at someone's strength but their spirit as a warrior and Rubelia has the quality of it. Unfortunately, she isn't suited in Cocytus style and only has been learning basic from her to temper her body and mind. Erix like her for being determined to improve and didn't complain that she's weak and refuses to stay that way.

'Right, Shizu and Hina should visit here and use their cheat to help them. Especially Shizu, seeing that her skills could make Rubelia into a champion or even a Hero.' Erix thought himself seeing how busted the mother and daughter pair when it comes to supporting other people.

He could train them but he was too busy and didn't want to rob everyone of their work considering they would feel ashamed of making their king do their jobs. Erix watched as she got thrown back by the force of Cocytus' swing. He doesn't even have any weapon and is simply using his arms against her.

"Rubelia!" Emery shouted as she saw her friend thrown back and was afraid that she might have gotten hurt but Erix held her shoulder to calm her down as she looked at him.

"Relax, she's tougher than she looks." Erix said as the red haired warrior squirming on the ground but kept on trying as she struggled to stand up. Emery looked worried while Erix decided to stop it

"Halt. Greetings. My. Lord." Cocytus stopped for a moment to welcome Erix while Rubelia was panting heavily, having been doing her best and embarrassed that she was beaten once again. Erix snapped his fingers and instantly healed Rubelia who regained her energy looking at him, rather a shame that she displayed an embarrassing sight.

"You've done a splending job. Not many can last long against Cocytus and the fact you're able to keep going means you are quite the warrior." Erix gave a sincere praise that surprised Rubelia.

"R-Really? But I keep losing though." Rubelia said while Erix simply chuckled.

"It was impossible for you to win to begin with. Cocytus is too strong to even the most elite warrior but you kept on fighting despite the odds. This is admirable and praiseworthy, don't you think, Cocytus?" Erix glances at the insectoid warrior.

"Indeed. My. Lord. She. Is. A. Strong. One. A. Warrior. That. Even. My. Creator. Be. Amaze. At." Cocytus blows a puff of air.

"It. Is. Unfortunate. That. My. Style. Does. Not. Suit. Her." He continued and Erix shook his head while Hakurou and Rimuru walked over to them.

"How are you today, Lord Erix?" Hakurou greeted his master.

"It's nice to you again, Lord Erix." Rimuru said and smiled at him, having been trying to do her best to get stronger and repay his help. If it wasn't for Erix then she would be lost and wandering aimlessly being his slime form permanently. She can't deny that her heart flutters every time he is around even when he isn't feeling his present and influence from the blissful smile of the citizens in his kingdom.

Rimuru didn't want to remain a virgin like her previous life and was doing her best to get his attention when he was around. Erix frequently visited her and spent time checking how he was doing. It often last few hours in time dilution that Erix often uses to spend more time with everyone.

Erix often uses clones to work on his office but only when there are too many projects and requests as he is often able to finish them thanks to his high speed thought and parallel thinking as well as Arryn's assistance. He could be omnipresent using his [ Lord of Rift, Gingunggap ] but prefers doing them solo because it is too boring if things are too easy.

"It has been a great week, Hakurou. I'll be heading to Kusha mountains this afternoon but for now, I wanted to test this spear that Emery made for me." Erix displayed his halberd that had a long shaft and made Rimuru and Rubelia captivated by his mighty halberd.

"Wow, you made that Emery? That's amazing." Rubelia praises her friend who blush being complimented by them.

"Lord. Erix. What. Do. Wish. For. Us. To. Do. For. You?" Cocytus asked.

"Both of you fight me and help test this spear. I might get rusty if I don't spar once in a while." Erix tapped his spear on the ground where everyone understood what they needed to do. Few minutes later, Rimuru, Rubelia, Emery and Benimaru were on the sideline as Erix set up a barrier that placed them in different size spaces to give them enough room for battle. The other trainees were provided with viewing from a screen that Erix made that acted like a monitor.

"I wonder how strong, Lord Erix?" Rubelia pondered having seen him display power akin to a god manipulating time and space like nothing bending it to his will.

"According to sir Cocytus, Lord Erix is not only a True Demon Lord but a True Dragon as well and if it is true then he's the Fourth True Dragon Lord exists." Benimaru answered with a hint of pride and the two girls except Rimuru were horrified at the news.

"W-What!? He's that strong!?" Emery exclaimed astonished that the man leading this countless named Maijin to be a True Dragon, a creature akin to living god. Veldora Tempest, the guardian deity of Jura Forest had the reputation to lay waste in many places due to his immense power.

How powerful is True Dragon? The simplest comparison of their strength was Natural disaster having a massive scale that capable of affecting entire continents or even the whole Central Axis World that fighting one would be a suicide even if indirectly.

The sheer might of them threatens the entire world where only True Hero or a handful of the Demon Lord are capable of surviving a confrontation against them. If one finds themselves face to face with True Dragon then living is not an option anymore. The pressure they produce could easily kill powerful Maijin and adventurers. It was fortunate that Rimuru didn't die from Veldora's chaotic energy thanks to the barrier that he was trapped in.

"No one knows for certain how powerful Lord Erix is but they said that he was known by many titles during his reign in their previous world." Benimaru often wanted to know more about Erix as he asked every floor guardians that met and they were happy to tell him the history of their lord. The stories that he heard were unbelievable and admired his journey to become who he is.

"What is he called?" Rimuru curiously asked while they saw Erix spinning the spear before taking a stance instantly made their entire body crawl witnessing him exude his aura around him. Erix's entire demeanor shifted I to something far beyond normal mortal revealing a small fraction of his might.

Hakurou and Cocytus tense up sensing the danger coming off from Erix who simply took a stance yet their instinct shook. He wasn't releasing any Haki simply the pressure was rather overwhelming. Erix's strength doesn't lie from his immense power and skills rather his insane tenancy and absurd ability to combat against stronger opponents.

Those that knew him during their time in Yggdrasil when their Monarch fought against enemies that were strong if not stronger than him but the outcome of the battle ends in bloodshed rising from lake of blood if Yggdrasil developer added it. The title that Erix was known for.

"The King who Rose from the Bleeding." Benimaru said, having his gaze fixated on the screen causing shivers down their spine to those that overheard his words.
