When he was chatting a number of the people or otherwise known as monsters from human perspective had already gathered at the plaza. They are already in their armor having already been informed about the upcoming fight where the Hobgoblin riding their tempest wolf and 8 Demon General releasing their intent to fight and prove their worth for Erix.
The equipment of the Hobgoblin were around Relic Yggdrasil equipment or Unique if using the standards of the Central Axis World. They were cheap and low level equipment that Erix hoarded in his early days knowing the possibility of using them in the future. Also it's also gained from summoning monsters and stealing their equipment. The quality is crude compared to crafted one but enough for mass producing.
Their threats vary and weakest can essentially overthrow an entire small country if left unattended. Of course this only factors into every aspect, not just their destructive capabilities. Erix was overjoyed seeing their prowess and eager to let them grow in their upcoming conflict.
He'll kill them and take at least half absorbing their soul and give a small amount to Rimuru then use the remaining to summon Diablo along with the other primordial Daemon. Erix absorbed the ArchDemon from yesterday and gained a bit of insight of what the Daemon World is like and the place is basically immaterium from Warhammer where time and other stuff are at disarray where daemons constantly fight each other.
From what he remembered the Orc Army has 200,000 in them in addition to Orc General having B+ strength. Erix does not care about their tragic life and only sees them as another source of power. However, he is not without sympathy and willing to take half of them to prosper to his kingdom which is better than what they had gone through.
It would be naive to give mercy to those who will realize their grave sin and give them an opportunity to redeem themselves is a way for him to respect their desire.
Scarlet King: I'm currently preparing to go on a war.
God Tongue: Wait what? War!? You're joking right?
Demon Goth Girl: Why are you going to war?
Cosmic Phoenix Host: Can't you solve it in a peaceful manner?
Scarlet King: Unfortunately no, our opponents are under some sort of blood craze frenzy and the only way to save them is to kill most if not all of them.
Cosmic Phoenix Host: Are you sure there's no other way?
There are many ways for Erix but what does it serve him? In the end it's best to do what he intends to do in the beginning. His methods give the best outcome and don't make him look soft.
Scarlet King: There is no victory without sacrifice. There is no prosperity without hardship. There is no peace without war. I do not belittle your mindset but this is how this world functions.
God Tongue: Does that mean you'll kill?
Scarlet King: Everyone kills one way or another. Don't you kill animals to create dishes? It may be less barbaric in this world but it is still killing. Of course you can argue it being different yet you won't remove the fact you take another life and the only way to repay it is by relishing and showing gratitude towards your food.
Erina couldn't refute his logic, thinking about how she often prepares lobster dishes and kills them without hesitation as well as sushi. Everyone was affected by his insight.
Demon Goth Girl: I can somewhat understand your perspective.
Cosmic Phoenix Host: If that is the case, make sure to not cause too much pain against them.
Scarlet King: No promises. I'm one who enjoys a good fight and it would be disrespectful to end them too quickly. If I see something worth my respect then I'll fight them evenly.
Cosmic Phoenix Host: That's enough for me. I hope we can watch you.
God Tongue: Can't you use the Livestream function?
Scarlet King: Ah right, feel free to watch.
Erix decided to use the live streamed features to let them watch and the camera seemed adjustable as they saw the Hobgoblin and tempest wolf asking many questions while Erix happily told them.
Cosmic Phoenix Host: I wonder what those wolf fur feels like?
Jean Grey wanted to feel them and lay on them while the others were the same but didn't say anything out of embarrassment. Erix already knew this was the case and chuckled before Albedo arrived wearing her battle gear as she would be one to join him while the other guardian remained in the kingdom to protect it.
"This Sword is really amazing….I'm not sure if I should be using it." Rimuru walked towards them wearing his manga adult form when he saved that merchant character. Unlike that, she has large buxom and perfect curves.
"You look good, Rimuru. Also, that Katana was supposed to be mine but I don't use it that often."
Erix gave her a Legendary Rank weapon that can cut 10 times upon the first initial cut. Rimuru blush while the other members noticed this. Erina was the only one who felt alarmed thinking about how Erix suddenly said the same to her but recalled that he never commented when she sent her photo that somehow made her feel jealous for some reason. This obviously from being spoiled having often praise by all and Erix didn't even bat an eye on her beauty.
"Still can't thank you enough. Is there any reason why you called me here?"
"You're going to be the leader of my 18 Warlords, that's why I want you to do something for me. But let's discuss that for later, Albedo report."
Rimuru nodded as Albedo walked closer informing her that there was someone that wished to have an audience with him and he already knew who that was turning to his side as Magicule churned and what formed was a young beautiful woman who appeared to be in her twenties. Her skin was light with well defined facial features. She was stated to be semi-transparent. She wears a full length, aqua colored dress with white sleeves.
God Tongue: Wow, she looks like a fairy!
Demon Goth Girl: I'm aware they exist but never seen one.
Cosmic Phoenix Host: I thought fairies are small?
Scarlet King: That is a pixie, not a fairy.
Erix explained while his attention turned to the woman who arrived and immediately introduced herself as Treyni having a rather pleasant voice. He somewhat feels his job as the Yggdrasil Guardian and owner of the World Tree affected her impression of him along with overwhelming his evil alignment.
"She looks strong…" Rimuru muttered asking the Great sage about their strength and her skill didn't help her that much due to the power of Treyni. Erix stood firm showing his authority and said.
"Well, I am Erix Khan, The ruler of Asurayasha Deva Kingdom or soon to be Empire. What can I do for Miss Treyni, the [ Manager of Jura Forest ]?"
"There are many things I wish to discuss with you and intend to observe you in order to properly judge your character but the presence of an Orc Lord and his army have forced me to ask for your help."
Her tone was more respectful and less laid back than how he spoke to Rimuru in the canon. Erix understands that she feels the looming threat that he posed or perhaps it is his enticing charm coming off from his armor, skills and job.
It might be both but whatever the case may be, Erix respected her bravery to speak to him in an honest manner. He can see through falsehood and Treyni didn't say a single lie.
"If you're wondering about the World Tree Yggdrasil, then I'm willing to share more about it and I understand why you're here. The orc lord is heading this way and would one day affect us which is why we will take this opportunity to defeat it."
Erix released his aura summoning his spear, turning his attention towards his army and began to speak. Treyni could feel his atmosphere as she watched him speak to his army, raising their morale.
"Everyone, Hear my words, today we will march and defeat the orc army. We will show the power of our country to the outside world and protect our home. Do you want our new home taken from us?" The other chat members were watching and felt like they were watching a movie as the army had a sharp and determined gaze as they all took the words of their guide and master to heart.
"Remember, those who dare invade shall perish and those who bow down shall serve. Do not dare disappoint my name and the name of our country, understand!!"
"YES, LORD ERIX!!"
They all roared ready to fight for their homeland and would protect it with their lives while Treyni watched approving that Erix would be a fine leader to protect and lead the horde of monsters. Erix smiled, turning his attention to Treyni and said.
"What do you think?"
"I believe that you'll accomplish it without fail, Lord Erix. After this battle, my sister and I wish to be part of your kingdom and help protect your home."
"Very well."
Erix smiled before turning off the Livestream temporarily informing that he'll be doing some private conferences and everyone respected his privacy as they logged out for a moment.
