Cricket in Kashmir

There are hundreds of he's which are played in Kashmir but the most played game is the cricket.It is not just a game it is the way of earning money of various people like cricketer's, umpires, organizers etc. Cricket is the most loveable game in Kashmir. In Kashmir there are less number of turf wickets but most tournaments are played on mat wickets. That is many players who get selected for the Ranji trophy are not able to play on turf wickets. Some cricketer's who are playing on turf wickets as well as on mat wickets get selected for IPL(Indian primer league). Some famous cricketer's of Kashmir who got selection in IPL are Parvaiz Rasool, Manzoor Dar, Abdul Samad, Mujtaba Yousuf etc. There are so many players inside our Kashmir who can play IPL as well as international cricket but no one is supporting them. But day to day the cricket is growing in Kashmir valley . I am also a cricketer and are presently playing for JK Sports(local) and I have som many dreams regarding cricket.

Cricket grounds in Kashmir are not in good condition. Outfields are not also in good condition. No one is thinking about sports system in Kashmir.
