1 The Beginning of Chaos: -All POVs-

-----Narrator's Viewpoint-----

--Kagoshima, Japan-- -10:00am-

A girl shouted at the top of lungs to reach her parents who was near the bottom of the hill their house sat upon, "Mom, Dad! There's something on the News!"

They seemed to be discussing something with a construction man in an orange suit with small lights attached before turning to face their daughter and rush up to see what was happening.

They arrived at the top of the hill only to see the TV on and their three children sitting on their yellow couch that had visible scars, showing scratches their cat had inflicted.

{There appears to be something resembling Temples rising from multiple places and this event has attracted the attention of the whole world with everyone wondering what are they??

The world government has made an announcement for all civilian ships to come back to their bases while they study the temples.

Multiple members of the government seem to be addressing this issue right now, let's go to the scene now. Over to you Kasura-san.}

{Thank you Hashimoto-san, as you can s...}

"What happened to the TV!?" The same girl shouted and proceeded to run over to it and fiddle with the controls attempting to bring back the channel from the prevailing static.

The father recalled the image of the temple nearest to Japan. The towering pyramid on top of a huge building that seemed to be as tall as the Colosseum in Rome with pillars lining a road into the Temple itself.

"What the hell was that thing... There are more of those around the world?" He muttered to himself.

"Shire, you're an archaeologist right, any idea what those were?" The man asked his wife.

"No idea, there were Hieroglyphics, Greek Symbols and a multitude of other things. It was spectacular, I've never seen anything quite like it. What do you think it was made of Karusa?" Shire turned to her other daughter who was fixed on a stone collection on top of a kotatsu muttering to herself.

Shire seemed to realise that Karusa was focusing and when she stopped muttering Shire decided to ask again, "Karusa, what do you thi-"

Karusa stared ahead and was able to see the clock, frozen in time, unmoving just like the water cup that her little brother was about to spill. -10:15am-

--Texas, America-- -10:00am-

In the backyard of a house on Kingfisher drive, there's a girl, a man and a boy tossing a baseball around.

"Look alive Sharon!" The man shouted as he threw the ball at the boy, confusing both of them.

As the boy caught the ball he shouted back. "Old man what the hell was that! I'm not Sharon!"

"So? You should always pay attention!" The 'Old man' shouted back before laughing heartily.

Sharon simply watched the two start arguing for several minutes before the boy threw the ball as hard as he could at their 'old man' as the ball was about to land in his glove it froze. As Sharon moved her eyes to see things, she realised everything was stopped... -10:15am-

--Voorschoten, The Netherlands-- -10:00am-

A woman was sitting on a green chair with yellow embroidery in the leather as she drank tea from an expensive looking tea set with small black swords coloured along the edge of the cup.

"The fog is quite heavy today isn't it Linde?" The woman asked.

The girl sitting on the floor looked up to the woman and stared into the woman's night-blue eyes before answering her. "Maybe, it's been heavier though. You know this mum, why are you asking me?"

The mother looked at Linde while thinking. As she had a sip of the tea and gazed out, she noticed a hidden snowflake fall through the fog onto the window and wondered how cold it was outside.

As Linde gazed up with her mother she saw another snowflake about to hit the window when it stopped mid-air, hovering. Then she noticed that nothing else was moving... -10:15am-

--Yakushima Island, Japan-- -10:00am-

"Dad, we need to get to the boat now. Come on we can look at birds later!" A boy complained as his dad refused to move, silently watching a birds nest like a hawk.

So they waited.

They waited.

Eventually...

They were still waiting.

As the boy took in a breath to shout. It happened.

*SNAP*

The shutter of a canon camera clicked and the father stood up slowly while staring at the picture with a satisfied smile. "Alright, we'll go back now. Ellery and Jake let's-"

Ellery and Jake stared at their father as they saw the bird behind him stopped in mid-air as if it was a painting then looked to their father seeing he couldn't move his body either. -10:15am-

---Worldwide--- -10:16am-

A message appeared at that moment, in front of every single person's eyes, the same message to each of them.

The same question in black letters embedded into a somewhat transparent silver screen with midnight blue lining the outside with the phases of the moon attached in a indigo hue.
