Chapter 15: Rook vs Zino

"As the events started to turn and turn, the whole story starts to get more and more chaotic." The Narrator said as he sighed.

"Grrrr" Zino grunted.

"Things must be earned, and put effort as they say." Rook said sarcastically.

"And yet you took the easy way and barely done any hard work." Zino said as he roasted him.

"You're getting on my nerves, warlock." Rook stated.

"Master, have the crystal for now it's better you hold it for now, because this sorcerer might get it from my very own hands." Rook said as he tossed the crystal to King.

"Very well then, give him one hell of a battle." King said as he was rooting for Rook to become the victor of the battle.

"Oh I will, King. I'll do it in the name of CHESS!" Rook said as he pointed his arm upwards.

"Good grief, their belief in their organization is almost like narcissism." Zino muttered to himself.

"Now let's get this show on the road, warlock." Rook said as he challenged Zino.

"You made the grave mistake of challenging a warlock when you don't even have powers." Zino said mockingly.

"I don't need powers to beat you at all, warlock." Rook chuckled.

"Both of them rush into battle, with Rook attacking him straightforward by punching him in the face." The Narrator exclaimed.

"Bet you didn't expect that did you." Rook said as he spit on the ground.

"You dirty little cheap tricks won't best me." Zino said as he got back up.

"Plus it's my turn." Zino said as he casted a spell and pulls Rook and grabs him by the neck.

"He's getting his ass kicked, Your Honor." Nightshade said.

"Zino let's go off him and knocks him back but Rook grabs tightly on the ground and slowly gets back up." The Narrator said.

"You're not so bad yourself, warlock." Rook said just before disappearing as mist suddenly appears.

"Zino was shocked and wondered where did Rook went after the mist appeared." The Narrator said.

"Where did that sneaky bastard go?" Zino said.

"Right here!" Rook said as he hit him from behind and disappears yet again.

"Zino gets back up and feels a bit outmatched." The Narrator stated.

"It's quite unfair that you have the mist advantage so I'm going to have to get that out of the way." Zino said as he used a spell to make the mist disappear.

"Damn it, he has seen through my decievery, I might as well come up with a new strategy then." Rook said to himself.

"Running out of luck?" Zino said sarcastically.

"I have just the right amount of luck to beat you, purple hair." Rook smirked as he landed on the ground.

"Don't push your luck." Zino said.

"Rook goes to attack him from his left, but Zino blocks it with a newly casted magic shield." The Narrator said.

"Not bad, you know how to not let your guard down, but this next one will hit you." Rook declared.

"We'll see about that." Zino declared.

"Rook was able to attack Zino from behind and stabs him." The Narrator said in shock.

"Creo saw and was in a fit of rage and was about to confront Rook himself." The Narrator said.

"No, don't interfere Creo. This isn't your fight, it's Zino's. So let him be and let him handle his fight." Athena said as she blocked Creo.

"Fine." Creo said as he sighed.

"What's the matter warlock, it looks like you're becoming significantly weaker than I've imagined." Rook said.

"You may not realize this but you've already lost." Zino said as he was right behind Rook.

"W-what?" Room said in shock, as he was surprised to see him both in front and behind him.

"What Zino did was a diversion and the Zino in front of Rook earlier was a mirror clone and the real one was right behind him this whole time." The Narrator explained.

"Dismantle!" Zino said as the mirror clone began to shatter into pieces of shards and launch towards Rook, impaling him and making him bleed.

"Dirty trick, warlock. Argh, but not bad." Room said as he groaned in pain but not before smiling.

"I've only been holding back, if I had used all of my power, you would have already lost before the fight had even begun." Zino said arrogantly.

"Well then, I guess I should be serious as well...argh." Rook said as he was groaning in pain, and went to reach his sword.

"A challenge between blades, this is going to be interesting, I'm only going to do this to make things fair for you, Rook." Zino stated as he casted out a mystical sword from his hand.

"I'm fine with that, let's see who is better at using swords between us two?" Rook said sarcastically.

"It was at this moment where things start to pump up." The Narrator said.

"Who will win, the warlock Zino of the Dream Preservers or the elite officer Rook of the CHESS organization?" The Narrator questioned to himself.

"Who will knows, what all we can do is see how all of this plays out." The Narrator said.

"As both of them charge towards each other with eyes flaring with determination, their blades cross path with one another and they began their sword clash." The Narrator stated.

"Rook used his experience in sword fighting as an advantage as he turned about swiftly and attacked him while he was vulnerable." The Narrator said.

"Take this!" Rook said as he proceeds to stab Zino.

"Argh..." Zino said as he felt the pain of the sword going through his body.

"You'll pay for that..." Zino said as he slowly got up, holding his wound.

"Both of them continued to clash, with each turn, their blades clash and none of them got struck by their attack and it could almost continue on going." The Narrator said.

"That was until..." The Narrator paused as things started to become suspenseful.

"Both Zino and Rook manage to stab each other at the same time and both of them fell down on the ground, whoever got up first would become the ultimate victor of this fight." The Narrator uttered.

"Please get up Zino!" The Bookkeeper said.

"Get up now Rook! You can do it." Knight said.

"As time passed, none of them started getting up until..." The Narrator paused.

"Rook managed to get up from the ground first before Zino did." The Narrator said.

"Huzzah, take that warlock, I am the win-" Rook said before falling down to the ground.

"Good grief, this guy is so narcissistic." Zino said as he spat on the ground.

"All of them were in shock, and ultimately Zino became the victor of their battle between him and Rook, up next, the next bout of fighters is going to win, will it be the Ronin of the Cherry Village Zion, or the elite operative Knight, all we can do is wish for the best." The Narrator concluded.
