1 What was that?

One thing I must tell you before I begin, is that I'm not an ordinary kid. Also parents, NEVER and I mean NEVER leave your kids home alone. You never know what they're up to, when you're away on a vacation.

Now let's begin....

I'm an only child in a regular family, or so I thought. I'd go down FrogsWorth Street, as I usually would every school day. When I heard something rustle in the bushes, now everyone would think 'It's probably a wild animal' but I'm not like those 'other people' I've read to many creepy books to be fooled that easily.

So as no-one else would do. I went over to the bushes and gave it a full inspection before heading back on the trail. I looked behind, front, sides, IN THE BUSH, but only to be fooled by a little white bunny. My instincts got me that time, I thought sheepishly.

I headed back on the path, only to be suddenly jolted by the shoulder behind a large tree. It was my friend Freddy, if only I'd left him when I heard his name, I would've ran straight out the door not turning my head back. But of course I had to take the guy under my wing. So the large boy, grabbed me and tossed me into the roots and started to shout at me.

Usually I would've starting ranting and shout at him for tossing me into a bunch of roots. But I couldn't bring myself to, I could only really hear about five of the words he was saying, because Freddy speaks super fast. Nearly no-one in the school can keep up with him. The five words I could make out were

You. killed. me. in. Fortnite.

Now about then I was ready to get up and leave because only an obsessed kid, would grab you by the shoulder drag you behind a random tree, toss you on the ground, and starting shouting at you for killing them in fortnite.

"Why the hell are you so mad!!?"

I yelled in his ear, trying to bring sense into Freddy. He went silent, he was out of words. Obviously Freddy was clueless and only wanted to shout at me for something totally stupid, and he couldn't even bring himself to tell me why he was mad at it!?

Just then I heard a shout coming from our school, just around the corner. So we dashed together around the corner and took a look at the scene. "What was that?" Freddy asked, I couldn't answer him because I was totally blank about it too.
