First Combat Sparring (4)

Both Nikko and Inoichi slowly enter the combat ground. Though Inoichi was from a noble clan of Konoha and have solid foundation from the childhood, he was aware that Nikko was one of the best among his peer as he saw him perform in academy admission and regularly in class (Only few ANBU and Family members notices that Nikko uses the Shadow Clone Jutsu). So he knew he needed to put up a good fight to have a chance against Nikko.

As soon as they both reached the ground, the chunin instructor gave the signal to start the fight. Nikko knew that he should not give any chance to Inoichi to be calm as then he will be captured by the Mind Transfer Jutsu of Yamanaka Clan. So he decided that from the very first moment he would attack aggressively.

Soon he saw the signal, he threw shurikens and kunais toward inoichi while inocihi repelled the attack with substitution jutsu by a hair's breadth as his substitution was bulls eyes by the shurikens and kunais. Inoichi panicked seeing that because if it was not for his timely use of jutsu, he would have been hurt badly. Inoichi knew that Nikko was strong, but didn't expect that he could barely move before Nikko even completely attacked him. So he knew that he needed to distract Nikko and use his clan's jutsu to at least put some pressure.

On the other hand, Nikko was also surprised to see that Inoichi could avoid his attack even if it was barely and this slightly shocked Nikko as he knew only Minato and Fugaku barely have the speed to retaliate against him while this will only grow larger in future. But Inochi was at least able to repel his attack and that means that if he didnt do something early, Inoichi might find a chance to cast Mind Transfer Jutsu as Inoichi is not a dead brain and does have a very calculative personality.

As they were thinking, both Nikko and Inoichi continued their cat and mouse type fight which made every student present mesmerized by their techniques. Both of them didn't use any flashy moves as they were mainly fighting using basic ninjutsu, taijutsu and shurikenjutsu but it was like an angry bird was attacking a calm turtle as Nikko was aggressively attacking while Inoichi was countering every attack.

Chunin Instructor's POV

'What the hell. Did they really join the academy just 3 months ago? It is like they are at least attending the academy for about 3 years and are about to become genin.' the instructor was thinking inside his mind.

He was not only an academy teacher but was also a capable ninja and he knew that to improve skills to this level and continue the fight for about half an hour with this intensity is not a joke. But he also knew that though Inoichi managed to dispel all the attack till now, he was clearly in disadvantage and would lose the fight as soon as his chakra reserve finished and Nikko who was basically on hunting mode was like he just started fighting.

It seems like not only Minato, Fugaku and Ajima have monstrous talent in this batch, but Nikko is also in their league, even he might be better. And the Yamanaka brat is also a good seedling with a very calm and calculative mind. He knew that he should report this to the academy principal as early as possible so that these talented kids could have good mentors.

Nikko looks at Inoichi and finds that he was on the brink of collapse due to this long intensity battle and was about to forcefully use the mind transfer jutsu as the last attempt. Nikko knew that as soon as he got hooked by that jutsu, he would lose control over his elemental spirit and would cause ruckus inside the academy.

But he also was hesitant to use the shadow clone jutsu as if he used that, he could have won much earlier. Suddenly he got the idea once he saw in the Naruto anime where both Sasuke and Naruto use the transformation and substitution jutsu against Zabuza to deceive Zabuza and help Kakashi. Soon Nikko complete the plan in his mind and then use the smoke bomb.

Then he throws the shurikens towards Inoichi and uses substitution jutsu to change place with the shuriken nearest to him and kick the hell out of Inoichi who was surprised.

The last thought Inoichi had before losing his sense was, 'How the Beep? How did he come from the Shuriken? Daaaammmnnn'.
