83 Realm Wars 13 - The beginning...

I saw it rise, a beast that made me shiver from its mere presence. Eyes as piercing as stars, body rippling with muscle mass as six pairs of feet, two pairs front and one pair hind pawed the grass and dirt of the ground with its steps. It escaped the fire with not a scorch, the flames rolling off its thick fur. Once it was completely in our realm it howled to the nothing. Its fur rippled with colors, its muscles moved, its bones creaked and it barked and growled with the several movements of its internal parts. Then it split.

Its size was reduced and there stood three of them. One white as snow, the other green as the earth, and the last a metallic gold that would humble any rare metal. Their backs reached Hildelith's shoulders which said a lot for their size considering she was already tall. Their eyes were like the original joining as bright as the stars with the same blue glint.

Each wolf nudged at her playfully as they pranced around their tongues licking at her and playfully nipping at her heels to get her attention yet she ignored them. They whined but she didn't heed them, instead, she looked at her palm, and her lips moved.

"COME"

There was no flame this time. Just the portals we were familiar with. What stepped out we expected, the number we hadn't. There were dozens of them. Not enough to go up against an armada of chaos entities with though.

"Unborns " Gertrude whispered. Each one of the tall black beings stood next to the other. Like knowledge getting ingrained into my mind I suddenly knew how many. Sixty Four.

"Have fun".

We watched as the white energy in her grasp all this while lengthened till it was like a pole of white flashing light. Then she darted forward. The little army she brought didn't move just watching as she made a jump, flew through the air like there was nothing hindering her and quickly reaching the maw of the black sea and there she plummeted.

" Is she.." my question was answered as she dropped soundlessly on the ground right at the very edge where the chaos sea was right about to swallow another section of the realm. Her arms raised and then plunged the white energy into the earth.

The ground shook, but it was nothing like the rumble when she made a cutting motion to the right and then the left. The realm heaved and with a sound like thunder upon thunder we watched the soul realm break off from the piece already devoured.

The white energy in her hand looked smaller, almost spent as we noted the chaos sea rear back in shock. Like it just noticed her for the first time.

It was then that the wolves and Unborns moved.

The first wolf darted forward in a flash leaving nothing but a streak of lightning in its path while clearing up the way. The second raised a back paw and then stamped down. The ground in front of it where the chaos entities were rushing into caved with the beasts dropping inside. The last wolf walked calmly to this edge, cast what passed for a wolf's bored look below then howled into the chasm. Golden light erupted from its maws like a stream flooding the trench.

"Did it just.." We watched stupefied as the golden energy kept streaming out its mouth in a river of divinity and flooding the chasm, the entities within burning to gold mists.

The Unborn rushed forward, golden fire licking up their black swords as they leaped across the new stream and into the hordes. The two wolves joined the fray. It was a massacre, for the chaos. Fire was destructive, the Unborns showed just this much becoming elementals of wrath and erasing the chaotic entities.

All eyes returned to the female who stood up front away from the horde battle her eyes fixed on the chaos sea.

The Deviless seemed to have been right as the sea made no plans to attack. Instead, it just floated there, both studying the other. They watched though on seeing the female suddenly close her eyes for a moment. Her eyelids flicked open blue orbs focusing past the chaos sea and far into the nothing. When her eyes locked on something we all gasped.

How no one had thought of it suddenly got to us. Even the administrators seemed to frown at this misgiving. They watched their mother levitate off the ground and then with a rush of speed burst forward.

The chaos sea turned frantic, it created limbs of black outstretched as it hunted for the female trying to halt her.

We watched her fly around it so easily that it felt kike a joke. Then she proceeded to enter the nothing. At this point, the sea was already churning and lashing out trying to get to her and make her face it, but she just ignored it.

We watched her strike out with the white energy she held. We watched it tear the tendrils of black that emanated from beyond the nothing. The faded away to reveal the gashes in the wall.

She inhaled, her eyes shut. Then a mist escaped her nostrils with a an exhale and her eyes slowly opened. Then she spoke. But this time there was a difference. There was power in her words. Words we could hear all the way down here.

"LET THERE BE A FIX, A STITCH TO MEND, A RUIN ANEW." her body seemed to distort an ethereal sort of mist flowing out of her. The chaos sea roared even more at the sight as it lunged once more yet something blocked it from touching her.

The white mist drifted into the long five-fingered gashes and mended them. Now we knew what the white wall was made of.

She turned shooting down to the realms bypassing the black sea like she didn't see it and landed on the realm ground once more. The little leftover energy in her grasp was released as she raised her palm to face the chaos sea.

The thing jumped like a freed fish and shot up into a bolt of lightning as thick as a tree trunk. The flash lit the realm and even the nothingness in white as it struck the chaos sea at the center.

The black waters parted down the center and turned to golden steam that rained down into the realms. It had lost a bit of its form.

"You have two options. Calmly pick a form that will be suitable to fight. I'll give you a fighting chance that way. Or stay as you are and get burned into divinity".

The warning was clear. The sixth being with the administrator had been right. The creator goddess was not even bothered. No, she was pissed. And she wanted to vent on this creature.

"This is mad" a player next to me grumbled as he just took a seat in disbelief. The devilless had an I told you so expression.

*

ES-GNT

The crowd had gone through a plethora of emotions since the goddess Hildelith touched down. From wild excitement to disbelief, then shock, more disbelief. There was awe at the beings summoned, especially the wolves.

Even Bertha had little to no chance to comment. Then the fight or beat down of the chaos entities by the summoned little squad. Finally was the point where Hildelith had threatened the chaos sea. Everyone was slack-jawed.

"This should be impossible right? And if it is possible then where had she been? Where?"

"Why stay out while watching dozens of NPC's and players get killed permanently? ' It was obvious Bertha was angry at this scene. The fight between the gods and Devils reduced to nothing but a joke by a creator goddess.

"I want to know. Why she wasn't present if indeed she could stop this".

One of the staff hurried out to meet and whisper something into her ears.

" Oh." the staff left hurrying off the stage."It seems we have a video call from another creator player coming in". There was a pause as the commentator began fiddling with her device.

When she got what she wanted she looked up right as another screen popped up beside the first. Shortening the streaming screen. The crowd booed but most just watched.

Many knew of the competition between the creator players so it was obvious they were expecting a bashing on Hildelith.

Hildelith fans were just eager to have the creator player's name to commence their trolling.

The screen turned bright as a face came to light. Well, a mask actually.

"Hello."

"Hello. Octavan. Is that you?" Bertha asked.

"Yes," he answered.

"You commented earlier and now a video. Do you by chance know the player personally to be defending her?" Bertha was quick to fire a shot.

The male laughed.

"First, who said I'm defending her. Secondly, I won't deny or confirm I know her since we creator players actually all met in a meet at the early days of the game so maybe I do know her".

"Successful defense." Bertha applauded with clear sass. "So what do you have for us and how does it either defend or accuse Hildelith? She has shown herself strong enough to have stopped this fight a long time ago so why was she absent?"

The male stared at the screen for a moment before he sighed.

"Something you seem to have wrong Miss Bertha is why you think she could be there in the first place". the commentator was obviously confused by the statement

"Seeing your comments and how the show has gone I can note you are new to following the game. Let me explain things even most knowledgeable fans don't realize about us creator players".

"We are not invincible. Yes, we are powerful. But that is an absolute in our universe. I noticed something when Hildelith landed into the fight. She was injured and tired. She had blood on her too".the male pointed out.

"I'm watching the ES-GNT and so I'm sure y'all noticed this. Now what can hurt a goddess who threatens a chaos sea like it's another mob? Something very dangerous. Where would a creator find something dangerous? A system dungeon or outside plane ."

The crowd gasped. Octavan had answered the queries of whether Creator gods had to level up. It was a fact that dungeons were for leveling.

"Now, I'm coming. If the mortals were to have wars amongst themselves I'm certain that the gods wouldn't bat an eye unless say it's a crusade thing". Bertha nodded in agreement while the crowd just listened.

"To us creators, the gods are like mortals or maybe soldiers. It's not a personal or prideful thing. It's just how it is in the game. The disparity is just too far as you can clearly see" he referred to the stream.

"So, a realm war. Two sides fighting a war that is probably meaningless to a creator player such as Hildelith. She probably thinks she has no point watching them kill each other so leaves to run a dungeon or goes off the plane" He waved his hands in the air as he made his point.

"I'm not saying it's what happened. She could have been in the white realm or the Tartarean rifts but I doubt that since she appeared as a falling ball of fire. The multicolored flame is a transport means from the Rifts to our universes" Bertha and the crowd listened without pause.

"Then she gets here all injured and tired. Miss Bertha, Gods in creation online don't get tired let alone creator gods. But she looked tired right?" the commentator nodded. It was an obvious fact that all had seen from her entrance.

"Which leaves the question. Something that tired her out enough to have her injured too. But something that she had to do to get back here."

"I'm not clear, had to do?. What do you mean?".

"Oh right. Creator Players' dungeons are unlike the norm where you can quit or find an exit or something. There's only one way out. The checkpoint stone. To get to that you need to beat the dungeon boss. An entity that can kill a creator player".

The crowd gasped.

"It gets better Miss Bertha" the crowd snickered at the pun while the lady just rolled her eyes.

"This is the last battle stream Miss Hildelith posted, had to get my mum to pick it out. See this.." Octavan disappeared as a video played, the scene showed her battling a silver-winged devil.

"Many recognize this video because Hildelith spilled the beans on creator online in it. But what you might not realize is this is a boss. A fact that the spilled beans pushed to the side and made several folks gloss over".

Some spectators just modded while others made sounds of surprise.

"This is a fight where those who watched can testify that Hildelith had to trick the boss into going easy on her". The video skipped to another scene where the girl sat atop a stone throne looking into the raven eye while a tired smile graced her lips.

"She won. But as you can see... "

"She is tired"

"My thoughts. Hildelith was in a dungeon and got the system alert of danger in her universe. I'm sure she did since we would get such alerts in the game. She must have fought hard to get to that checkpoint stone. Fighting a boss like that it's a surprise she got there fast enough".

" That's a well-prepared defense Lawyer Octavan. " Bertha mocked. The video was gone now showing the male again. This time the amusement on his face was unhidden.

"I did say I didn't come to defend. Well, this is what I actually called to say. I know who Hildelith is, not personally, I just recognize her style. So I couldn't help but call to say this."

he paused as he turned to the screen showing the girl watching the chaos entity mold itself into a gigantic wolf.

"In fairy tales, dragons were hunted for one reason that wasn't popular enough to be rampant. When a dragon near a city loses its egg or finds its nest destroyed with or without the perpetrators. The nearest human kingdom usually ceases to exist."

Bertha looked up at the crowd, her confusion clear for all to see.

"What do you think would happen when a dragoness returns to find her nest upturned? This, Miss Bertha, is a rare scene of venting. This is no fight we're about to watch." Octavan must have been laughing as his shoulders shook. The crowd watched both him and the stream with wide eyes as they slowly realized what he was saying.

"We're about to watch a pissed-off goddess beat the ever-living shite out of that thing". the male snickered at his language and then tapped an unseen button before Bertha could talk.

The video turned dark.

All eyes went to the stream. The wolf had now touched down on the soul realm. It attempted to devour yet again but a flash of light from the player made it halt its attempts. All could see that the chaos was quite intimidated. Yet the female did not seem to even give it face.

" I think Player Octavan might be right. " Bertha turned to address the audience. "We might be watching the beatdown of probably the week, century, who knows".
