HELEN'S POV

I learned a lot from just one use of miracles. Everything was connected.

It was simply mind-blowing, to see how everything worked together to create an effect or an extension of power.

The first use of restore life opened up several possibilities and niches that both helped me realize the diversity and also amazed me.

Restore life was like a whole rounder lesser sort of divine purity, but its diversities made me ponder what exactly Divine purity was all about in the long run. For now, I was just stuck on the intricacies I had seen in the miracle.

There was the symbol used. Like a sort of rune. I surely recognized all of them. An amalgamation of my tattoos and marks.

It gave the sense that truly the will of the multiverse or system A.I was having us etch ourselves into the fabrics of this reality. Would mages, priests, and saints using the heal or my heal spell specifically have to draw the rune made from my symbols? Or maybe it would just appear. A connection to draw power from me.

The thought excited me.

The light that filled the entire city of Oritais came from both the miracle and exposure to a ley line running from the star river.

I learned that restoring life opened or created a connection to the various souls wherever they were in the star river or soul realm - Feyryire. My earlier stunt of pulling and sending back Daena to her body didn't count simply because she was yet to be charted off by the star river.

It also taught me that things I had the ability or right to do would not be given as a skill.

The Ley line I saw was like a very elastic and malleable stream of energy. The one flowing from the star river into the mortal realm and below Oritais had a light blue smoky exterior with golden liquid rushing within its center as it flowed.

My miracle had tapped into this line to gain access to the star river. It showed me something else. Miracle costs could be reduced if there was a ley line closer. As the connection between realms, using such a line would both expedite and make things easier.

I could only frown at how less of such experience I would be about to get from this realm.

Another thing that caught my attention was the faith aspect. Was it true faith? Had Daena's mother beloved in me? If not how then had I gotten the units? While she had no faith in me it was clear other emotions could suffice. Desperation, hope, anger or, pain. Many of these emotions could have been it. But it didn't matter. What mattered was that intent like a finger flipped the switch for the miracle. While faith or emotion fuelled the miracle.

Like a tunnel cutting a way through reality to protect the mortal realm from the destructive effects of the divine.

It was possible to either pick the lower variants of a miracle which mentally alerted me that it cost 1 faith point per person used. Yes, I'm calling it faith point now.

The main miracle cost a minimum of 10 faith points for an area. Of course, I had been surprised by the sheer width the miracle had reached. It gave me several things to chew on.

One, miracles looked nothing or acted nothing like their original counterparts when used in realms.

Two, the name had changed. Either understating the miracles or showing its inferior version.

Three showed that maybe Vaustaris' worries had legitimacy. If a miracle powered by just 10 faith units could do such a thing. Then how powerful would a full divine purity be when used in the mortal realms?

It made me think of the lore of the Tartarean rifts. More than ever I was beginning to piece together things and understand just how powerful gods or at least creator gods, were.

There were more notifications that I was yet to look through. So mentally I pulled them up.

[ORACLE - Are your link to the mortal realm. As mortals who obey and show faith in you, they gain x2 in all stat allotments. Possession is 90% faster with an oracle. Miracles can also be done through oracles but at the cost of efficiency or effects]

[You have unlocked mortal domain]

[As a goddess, your followers need to feel and know of your presence. As a creator goddess a domain is unnecessary as all the universe is your domain]

[DOMAIN - Secret place of a god. Serves as the point of contact for chosen mortals. Messengers of gods live within this domain and can be summoned by the gods or those permitted to aid or do battle for them. Souls from sacrifices or deaths and materials offered by the mortals will appear in one's domain.]

It was obvious my luck of being ahead of the pack had ended. Something had gotten the feat of first interacting with the NPCs. Which wasn't exactly a problem since I didn't believe I could hoard everything.

'One can only wish though ' I chuckled at the thought before looking at the templates.

"I feel like the Domain template is cheap though. Considering what it does. " I felt like considering everything I had brought the domain should at least be more expensive.

While it was at 500mvc, considering his fast it was to get said amount from just running one dungeon I felt it easy to get.

Shrugging I made the purchases watching as the said templates appeared next to me. Yeah, I'm rich now.

Still, in interact mode, I discovered how difficult it was for my form to perceive the templates. I knew the templates were there but I couldn't touch or feel them. They were a fizzle in the air from the heat of a burning flame.

Changing my mode to observe allowed me to interact with them.

Each template just like the previous ones I had been using was designed like a file but with different glittering colors ranging from blue to silver and gold.

I was interested in seeing what exactly the messengers were like but each attempt gave an error.

[Error - Domain error ]

[Creator God detected]

[Connect to Lunar Castle]

I felt the permanency of the domain connection. It would keep the messenger in my lunar castle which was not what I wanted since I already had the Living armors and Unborn there.

'Domain first then'. I prodded the template and filled it with a bit of will. It was still hard to use my will here. It seems that the system was trying to replace will with intent down here. Either way, it worked and I felt the template features in my head

Bland.

[DOMAIN TEMPLATE]

[CLOUD REALM]

A realm of white clouds.

There was no effect, no ability no nothing. Fortunately, it could be tweaked and adjusted. Wasn't that what creator online was all about, making things anew?

I found myself seated on the bare ground eyes closed as I tinkered with the template.

"Clouds, yes or no. Okay. City on clouds. Yep. Okay. Rings. Yep. Central tower. Buff effect. Shards?. Hmmm".

I went through many things and added a lot of features. Fortunately, the cost for applying the domain would be lesser as it was my work.

Slowly the template filled. To an outside eye, the template slowly got more words on its front. If it was like a book then opening it would reveal the images I had made of the domain within.

My eyes opened after I checked everything and I was sure I had added everything I needed.

" Apply".

The template vanished.

I felt the pull upwards. Like my body was being summoned or tugged away from the ground. The first pull was soft like a test to check a rope's strength. The next was harsh and hard.

My body was dragged like a kite through the sky. I saw the sky part and a golden light spill just a bit from the little circular hole carved into the slowly dissipating grey clouds.

[Domain - DYLAERIA]

"That was disrespectful..." I began complaining then remembered the last time I got dragged to a different realm I was set ablaze.

"...but better.".I completed before opening my eyes.

Bright. Too bright. Annoyingly bright. Too much time in the darkness of the nothing, the golden shine of Torheim, the blue mists of Feyryire and the burning lands of the Tartarean rifts had made me forget what exactly it meant for there to be white clouds and bright light.

It was dazzling. The domain was more beautiful than any place except Torheim. Which was understandable for a realm in the clouds.

The first thing I noted was the sprawling city on the clouds. It was made of five mega rings. With buildings and houses. First was the lower first ring made of silver. Then the second ring of gold. The third was made of some green emerald that I didn't know. Funny since I created the description. Fourth was the ring of yet another unknown element. It lit up with a myriad of colors.

"Like rhe crystal grounds of the world forge". I noted dutifully forgetting I had put in that description.

The last and highest ring was also the smallest. Each ring from the first at the bottom to the last at the top was half the size of the previous.

The last and fifth ring was a simple color of steel. Yet it was also wrapped by the clouds creating a misty terrain. At the very center of the rings atop a looming spire was a space with three thrones.

[DOMAIN] - [DYLAERIA]

Home of the messengers. The heavens as the mortals know it. Five rings in respect of the five administrators. And three thrones to represent the three realms. All gods have their domain and messengers. Specifically tuned to their godhood. Such messengers can aid or battle the messengers of other gods.

[DOMAIN TIER - 1]

As a creator goddess. Your domain is a power of its own. Connected to your main body and resistant to lesser god attacks. You may or not participate in domain wars.

[0/2000]

[MESSENGERS TIER - 1 ]

Messengers made within a domain are as powerful as their existing domain. The older they get the more powerful they become. Age can be supplemented with experience gained from combat. (Energy conduit dependent)

[DOMAIN PERKS]

Messengers gain perks from both gods and domains.

[Angelic heal]

[Sacrosanct]

[Fiery Flame]

[Xerox Ditto]

This was something interesting. Especially since the alpha testers would gain it too. Which made me ponder. Was their requirements to gain a domain the same as mine?
