Today was the day.

Several alarm clocks buzzed in several locations all over the city. Some in homes and others in hotels. Various individuals were roused and others while not quite awakening forced themselves up once a thought flashed through their heads.

It was a busy day at the Creator Online headquarters. Unlike with the Creator players meet that had happened after their login and such. The alpha testers were all going in fresh. Their first login would happen here in the facility where they would spend just two days.

Why such an arrangement had not been made for the creator players was unknown. But the staff at the facility knew it was to prevent any sort of intervention or planning among the companies trying to get their hands on Creator Online shares ahead of time.

12 Hrs to ALPHA TESTERS LOGIN...

The room was an auditorium unlike the place used for the Creator Players before. Jameson didn't even remember exactly how many players there were in this room right now.

Heads filled the auditorium and he felt a thousand eyes all locked on him.

"Welcome everyone. It's D-day and I'm sure you've all been waiting for it." His voice announced. He could feel the excitement in the air and he would be lying if he wasn't affected. "Well, I too. I'm just as excited if not more for what you guys will see and experience".

All the feeds that were released to them by the game A.I had gotten the man's blood boiling to get into a pod himself. For now, he had to work on getting to his favorite player and streamer.

Good thing he already had a plan set for that. His eyes moved to glance at a large man. Maybe he was a boy but he looked in no way boyish to Jameson. The male manager could hardly his eyes when he first saw him.

Franco Ruder. The very first viewer in Creator 79s stream and his link to establishing a connection with the mysterious girl behind that grand avatar.

If only Jameson knew he had already seen the actual real-life depiction of the said female then he would have been shocked.

Attention back to the crowd he continued his talk.

"There are a few things you'd be let in on now. We all know you've been contacted in one way or the other by some company or whatever. Hopefully, you haven't signed contracts. If you have. Well. My apologies in advance. Soon you'll wish you didn't"

A low murmuring rose at these words.

"Wait since you know won't the company try to stop them from playing or ban them"A guy yelled from the center. Various hisses and yells went his way making Jameson chuckle.

" I assure you all. Especially those who accepted such contracts whatever the terms. You'll soon come to see the folly of your transgressions." he smirked knowingly. A round of murmurs sprang up from the crowd once more while he watched smirking.

"Alright, alright. I said you'll see, but not now. Please just have patience till you weep. " he made a sadistic grin before turning to the side and signaling someone backstage who disappeared once more.

Then a large screen lit up behind him.

"First thing to know is this. " he paused. "Forget everything you think you know from the other games you've played. " he looked at the confused gamers before him."Well maybe not everything".

"Creator online is unlike anything you've ever played. You find it all as just some marketing gimmick don't you." he tapped a handheld button that brought the screen to life showcasing a theory second video.

It was a mashup of different players all cursing at the devs and ranting in some way. The crowd all murmured once more.

"Now, I'm not trying to dishearten you, no, far from it. Unlike them who went in oblivious, you have a better weapon. You're not ignorant. The creator players have cemented themselves in Creator Online because of hard work and..well let's be honest stress and luck. " he scratched his chin at his point mentally wincing at the stubble spreading from his goatee up his cheeks.

'Gotta shave '

"All in saying is. Creator Online is unconventional. Don't expect a normal trend." He paused for a moment before continuing.

"Second thing to know. Always experiment. Third thing. Please watch your actions, everything you do has consequences. One that will affect and be known by if not everyone a few key figures."

Jameson went over a few other things, especially how their leveling up would work. A collective groan sounded out when he made them know that they would have to figure it out themselves.

"Finally, for the bomb. Many of you are expecting to be told where each Creator player is. Well, sucks to be you. We can't have all players heading in one direction. That'll give problems to a certain place and also a lack of interest or problems to others. We can't have that".

" Hey, you can't do that."

"We already made plans."

"No fair."

Various arguments rang out while Jameson just watched.

"If you're all done being childish, I'll say this. Yes, I can do this. And yes it's fair. You've gotten more help than your predecessors. Unlike you lot, we basically gave them the pods and threw them head first. Just blindfolded walking through a minefield " Jameson sniggered.

"So why are you helping us then. ?" it was Franco that spoke this time his muscular arm raised to catch Jameson's eye.

"Well, you're alpha testers ain't you? You have to stay alive to test. Oh and once you permanently die you get banned from the game. So heheh. "

Everyone froze at first. Then their outrage spilled as they threw insults and curses. Several obscenities flew but Jameson just stood smirking.

Once the shouting had gone on long enough he clapped and spoke uncaring if he was heard or not.

"So let's watch the second trailer of the game." he tapped on his remote once more and stepped back to view the screen. The screen lit up and the lights in the auditorium dimmed. The trailer was shown to be exactly I minute long.

[A male foot walked across the grass. The view from the first person as whoever it was moved eyes down. Something strange was noticeable though. With each step taken the feet changed. From a male's to a female's, then back to a male, then another male whose feet were bare. Another in boots and so on. As the feet changed so did the ground on which they stepped. It went from grassland to beach, to the mountain, to rocky terrain or volcano stone ] 3 seconds.

The scene cut out and the next appeared.

[Whoever was walking had finally gotten to their destination. Their view looked upon a beautiful space of black that moved almost like time was being forwarded. There were stars, then suns, a sun, tall constructs. and several images.]3 seconds.

[The scene appeared to be of someone watching a large but very close-shape move. A sight of rolling black material passing beneath it. Then slowly the camera rose as it brought to glimpse a large serpent. One that opened an equally terrific maw consuming a hot star]10 seconds

[A battle in what looked like a hall, with foes and allies bashing into each other. Sword swinging and bodies dropping.]2 Seconds

[An archer rolling through a horde of beasts as he was chased. Then with a slide, he made a brisk turn and fired an arrow that shattered the wind. Before meeting the horde and pulverizing a mass of them ]10 Seconds

[A running crowd of beings with short bodies and weird skin colors made short prayers while looking to the sky. Around them, their village burned while weird beings with manes and huge build razed and attacked with ferocity. A shorter one was kicked back by the huge maned beast before it brought an axe down taking its head. ] 8 seconds

[The place was dark. Very dark, but slowly it all lit up. The camera slowly receded as the view exposed the sight of a large eye bigger than even the screen. It was reptilian and its very cornea was like a huge stream of liquid fire. Almost like it was centered on them, watching, its eye went into a slit before a voice came from the speakers jarring and domineering. "Interesting". Then it moved and the view changed ] 12 seconds

[A dark hall, fire bowls placed at the sides, and a pathway to a door visible. Yet the attention was on a pair of feet shown just enough to know that the view was from the eyes of the body. Whoever it was seemed to be seated due to the angle the body was at.

'What do you wish my lady?" A voice asked from the dark. To the side, two white eyes that hung in the shadows were exposed yet its body was not seen. Its shape only noticeable. A soft feminine voice, soothing yet regal replied. "Aid them".]10 seconds.

At this point, the audience was bored and felt like the company had taken several extents to not expose anything in their trailers. Most watched lots of the creator players' streams so were certain that there was more spicy stuff than this.

" It feels like they are legit trying to bore us" Franco commented to a guy who say at his side. The male with black hair and asian features nodded.

"Agreed. The first trailer was more interesting."

[A figure rose from the ground. The view was right by her face as they showed the change from blue to green glow in her eyes. Then the view rose as a green extended all around her, golden hair whipping like it was a hurricane while stones and rocks flew over and slapped themselves on her building up. The scene cut and came back from a bird's eye view to show a fully built stone being with the same green eye glow. Across from the now stone-armored being stood another. With flame for eyes and pointed ears, his hand wielding a black sword. Both dashed forward, the stone-covered girl proving faster while her cloak fluttered in the wind of her speed and the ground cracked. The camera seemed to slowly move to the side while also rushing ahead like it wanted to join the fight. Stone girl and Fire eyes met in the center, both leaping up. Sword raised on one end and some sort of dual-ring blade extended on the other. The jump was slowed and the view highlighted the green of the stone golden eyes and body and the blazing red flames of the elf. Then both beings clashed] 10 seconds.

"Wasn't that Hildelith?" Franco blurted. The Asian nodded but said nothing as the screen lit up with words.
