Brian flipped through the |Human Chat| while Jack worked hard under the ferocious sunlight.

Brian originally wanted to kill Jack to get the [Slaughter] 'help' from him but, just at the moment he was about to throw his dagger towards his neck, Jack revealed that he was a Civil Engineer before getting transported in [Selection Area]. Finding Jack to be useful for him to build houses for him, Brian reluctantly made him a subordinate.

Looking at the |Human chat| Brian cursed under his breath while looking at the scammer-filled chat.

Originally, he wanted to buy Uranium at any cost as it could be used to make Nuclear Bombs but he was unsure of the price and had no plans to get scammed.

To know more about this world, he sent a message to his Father and Mother to find out about their situation and to think of a way to reunite.

Brian headed to explore the deep forest and also try the effect of the Ghost Reaper's physique while earning a handful of Creation Points on his way.

He knew that Creation Points could be earned by either 'Creating' something or 'Destroying' something.

Creation included creating something from the raw materials and destruction included the destroying of non-living as well as living things but the Points gained from non-living things were much less compared to the effort involved to destroy them.

Walking around aimlessly for about 15 minutes with a dagger in his hand and a scythe tied to his back, Brian finally heard the roar of a wild beast.

He rushed in the direction of the roar.

On reaching the place and hiding behind a tree, he found a huge bear and a panther fighting against each other. He also noticed a beehive on a nearby tree.

'The bear must've come here to steal and eat honey, while the panther would've had its cave nearby and felt the threat from the giant bear' Brian could easily make out why the fight would've happened.

Predators like panthers do not allow large animals like bears to come into their territory and cause riots.

Brian felt that it was his lucky day to find two giant beasts fighting against each other. He immediately started making plans to kill both of them while they are weak to harvest all the Creation Points.

While Brian was making his plan, the two beasts gave a provocation roar to each other before leaping in the air to fight a close combat fight.

The two beasts were not at all weak but the panther had an advantage due to knowing the territory. Although the panther had an advantage, the fight wouldn't end in his victory so easily.

The fight had been going for almost an hour right now.

Both the beasts were covered with blood of each other. The bear had scratched the panther's eye giving a huge scar on that region while the bear had a huge claw mark on his abdomen which was still resulting in blood loss.

[Ghost Reaper Physique]

Description- This is a rare physique of a Ghost Reaper. It is paired with a scythe and attacks the soul of the victim. The skills have a slight option of reaping the enemy's soul and converting it into a familiar.

{You can increase the chance of harvesting the soul into a familiar by Creation Points}

{Conversion rate- 1% requires 3 Creation Points}

(Note- Even if you have a 100% rate of harvesting a soul into a familiar, you have to be strong enough to retain the familiar)

Skills:

1. 7 styles of Ghost reaper scythe- This skill is an attacking skill that contains seven scythe styles. Each of the scythe styles is different from the other. After learning the 7 styles, one has an option to combine all the principles of 7 styles and get the 8th and most powerful style. (Minimum Level -1)

2. Ghost's favor- It is a passive skill that enables the host to have a friendly attribute against most of the ghosts. (Ghosts are nothing but souls containing evil thoughts like revenge or slaughter or have lingering wishes) (Minimum Level -5)

Brian's eyes lit up looking at the skills of the Ghost Reaper Physique.

"It's a pity, that I can only use the harvesting of souls with the Ghost Reaper Physique"

Brian noticed that the 'help' did not have any defense-related skills which must be the reason why he was able to kill the timid man so easily.

He was also a little hesitant on whether to use the important strategic skill such as harvesting souls on these beasts as he only had one use of Ghost Physique.

Pondering on it for some time, he noticed that the fight between the beasts was almost coming to an end.

Gritting his teeth, he made his decision to use the skill on these beasts as he was not afraid of being unable to get similar type of 'help'

The popularity of necromancer novels like ***** was still on the top. So, Brian wasn't afraid of people not choosing necromancer type 'help'

The bear let out an unwilling roar but still did not retreat as he knew that his speed was no match compared to that of the panther.

"GROWWWWL"

Despite its miserable state, the panther let out a triumphant growl as he made the last leap to pounce on the bear which was on the death bed.

*Swoosh*

A dagger made its way toward the flying panther and hit its second eye making the animal blind.

"GROWL!!"

The panther growled threateningly as it stood up from the fall. The beast had no eyes and could only hit its paw towards the air.

The bear was also astounded by the scene and let out a victory roar, feeling that the intruder would be its friend.

Watching everything from the side, Brian finally used the Ghost Reaper Physique and bought every skill it contained, along with a 100% probability to harvest souls. The whole ordeal cost him a total of 1400 Creation Points leaving him with just 3 Creation Points.

Brian rushed towards the panther with a scythe in his hand and used the first style of the '7 styles of Ghost Reaper's scythe'.

The first style was a basic attack which included swinging the scythe in a 28degree angle towards the fallen enemy.

Although the action was basic, but it was strangely graceful and gave the image of a Death God.

The panther died without even having the time to growl for the last time and Brian emotionlessly swung his scythe towards the weak bear who was still feeling the victory within its grasp.

As soon as the scythe cut the heads of the two beasts, a strange phenomenon happened.

A black gas came out of the two bodies which eventually turned into their original forms.

Brian already had a gist of what to do and swung his scythe towards the black gas cutting it in half.

The black gas then directly plunged into his body.

"AHHHH!"

Brian let out a loud scream as what he felt was unbearable for him. He felt the souls of the two beasts screaming in his mind and making him mindless. They were trying to destroy every piece and bit of emotion he contained and make Brian a soulless killing machine.

The souls had lingering wishes and they screamed about the unfairness of life, they screamed about their children who will have no father after they died. They wanted to make Brian submerge himself in their pool of darkness.

It was an extremely painful experience for a creature like human who has to see many deaths during his lifetime due to their short lifespan.

The evil screams of the two beasts made Brian remember about his dead uncle.

He got the memory fragments because of him, but when his uncle died he was unable to come back to India because of his training.

Between his uncle's funeral and the preparation of [Selection Area], Brian's clouded and scared mind chose training and getting stronger over his uncle's funeral, making it a lingering regret after finishing his training.

"NOOO, I didn't abandon you, uncle..."

Brian's agonized screams filled the entire area making the nearby smaller beasts run in fear.
